Skin me. (Freebies).

Busy RL=Lazy SL.  First let me say a big thanks to Arkesh Bara for sending me more of her brilliant mesh eyes to try out.  I will be showing you more of them at a later date as they just seem to work so well for me but if you missed them check out my previous post.

However this post is such a lazy one, I managed to grab a Free skins and a 55Ld skin I’m only showing you one this morning so as soon as I got inworld this morning I stripped and rezzed a prop and took a piccie.

Modesty saved by the baubles and as always this photo is shot in my Nams Optimum Skin and Prim setting.

The 2 skins I picked up come from Aisling Caiben shop JOLI.  A small shop with not a lot of stock but some real nice bargain priced ones, a 19 Gacha and a Free to join Group Gift.

There is a choice of 5 women’s skins and 1 male skin for the set price of 55Lds and I’m wearing “Nadine”.  For 55Lds you get all the eye brow shades, dark and light freckles(worn), teeth tattoo layer(worn) AND SLink hands and feet.  Nadine is a positively Luminous skin with some dramatic make up but if the make up isn’t to your taste then simply change it with your own.  If you’re after an even bigger bargain then join her Free Group and snag “Marie”.  A lightly tanned skin and she not only comes with the same as Nadine but more.  Lola Nip Applier, Baby Bump, Loud Mouth and Phat Azz Appliers and again you get all of this for FREE.

Not a lot of choice in this small shop but certainly worth a visit as everything seems to be only 99Lds and don’t worry even the 55Ld skins come with Demos.  I’ve just snagged one of the Horrorfest skins out of her Gacha for only 19 Lds and I’m just going to unpack it…..now…… YEAH I’m really pleased, I won number 4 and I’m happy to tell you that even these dirt cheap skins Horrorfest skins come with all of the appliers inc.

Stunning.

I was sent a brilliant pressie when I logged in yesterday, a new skin off Sly Puma (otyebis) owner of PumeC and I had squealed because I had already seen a picture of this posted in someones Flickr account and I wanted it so badly but the person hadn’t put much detail of where it was from and it turns out it’s a PumeC skin.

To take this picture I was going to dig out one of my Mina hairs because I know she has some excellent black and white hairs but when I popped this blonde one on I just couldn’t help but think how good it looked and just because this skin is called Elven doesn’t mean you have to go around with ethereal eyes or wings or horns or whatever “Elvens” are known for.  Skin this shade will stun up a simply outfit or suit a whole outlandish look.

But of course half the fun is to stand out from the rest.  I did a little test and in a normal outfit and not the dramatic red dress I went and stood at Sn@tch whilst a riot was going on so basically about 20 other AVs were there and I had my settings set so I could see who was looking at me and I’ve never seen so many of those cross hairs on me before and I got several IMs asking me where I got my skin from so you want to make an impression then this is the skin for you.

Now because I’m only allowed 1 “Nip Slip” I’ve popped a couple of piccies onto my FlickR account for you to see more flesh but don’t get worked up it’s nothing crude.

Because I used such a dark room I had to lighten the image a little bit so this last shot was in my fav settings of Nams skin and prim if you’re at all unsure a demo is out for you and btw I did pop some make up on with this skin as well so the eyeshadow is mine.

Each shade and there are 3 in total (White, Light Grey, Dark Grey which is what I am wearing)  cost just 499Lds each and in my honest SL opinion this is a BARGAIN there is also the option to purchase all 3 shades for only 1199Lds.  The reason this is a bargain is because of the Hud it’s just packed with all the Appliers anyone can ever need.  I have some other skins which I do really love as well but I have to pay extra for the SLhands and then think about getting feet and if I want to wear my boobies that costs me yet more money and it’s like a never ending money pit.  PumeC as standard includes all the most common

Goes without saying you need all the items yourself such as SLink Hands or feet or a Phat Azz to be able to use the appliers they don’t come in the pack.

And just to have some icing on the cake Sly Puma has one of my all time fav skins as a GG and some other Group gifts just waiting to be grabbed, a more than reasonably priced Gacha and some other special offers and all of this is in her shop on a beautiful sim so even those who have a limited budget can still look great and have a place to meander around in SL.

Time to prep.

So sorry it looks like it’s going to be  a lean posting week for me and Faith but promise to be back with a bang next week when the RL Sh*t stops hitting the fan.  The worst thing is what little time I’ve managed to mooch around SL all I’ve found is Valentines lefts overs.  Have to say some really nice stuff still out these as Valentines gifts so keep on checking your notices and see whats still available but in all honestly I’m pinked out and I binned everything that had a hint of a heart on it and THEN I got a notice off !Soul of her new venture into skins and I was off like a shot.

I’ve only just blogged Shannon Byron’s latest Group Gift (60Lds to join) and it’s still there and if you remember not only is everything in her shop priced under 100Lds but often you get the full pack ie dress, shoes and bag.  Or jeans, trainers and jumper etc each pack has different items so check it out before you buy.  The opportunity to try out bargain skins from somewhere where I know the texturing is excellent was a perk and I TPed over naked without even bothering to dress (sorry to the person I landed on in the shop) grabbed the demos and then returned for this skin.

Lets talk BOOBIES because keeping to her standards you don’t only get a shade of skin you get 6! from pale to tanned, each also comes with a cleavage skin option AND even more because with each shade you also get Tango Appliers, Lush Appliers and a Phat Azz Applier. A shape is also included which is mod but I am sticking to my own.  The skin I am wearing is the same in both pictures just a different shade and it’s called Aster and this is the 60Lds skin.  Obviously the top is the more Au Natural look and the one underneath with my Lolas on, remember I refuse to wear a Phat Azz it makes me cry.  Demos are available so pop over and try them on but as always try the Optimum Nams Skin and Prim Setting which is what I use in SL 90% of the time.

Honestly I’m such a stuck in the mud with my shape and skin choices it’s boring but when I got notice of Mr.Bloch that he has some special offers on for us ladies I had to indulge and WOW he’s included the WHOLE lot of appliers and for only 49Lds!

Ignore the wisps of hair I must remember that as adorable as this Diva hair is it’s not one for close-ups LOL.  Honestly as I was trying this skin out and taking the pictures the SLink Group were chatting away and as usual a lot of people were bemoaning how hard it can be sometimes to match skins and your “extras” so for those who are struggling or like me a bit lazy with the skin matching this is ALL you need.
