One for Faith.(Dollarbie).

Like the proverbial “Bad Penny” Faith returns to the UK shores tomorrow and it will be the first time since she’s seen the sim so I’m frantically splashing as much colour over our sim as I’ve realised about 80% of our sim is green!  Green grass, green trees, green shrubs and even the paths and rocks have green moss on them and then when taking this picture I realised the jacket I’m showing you is of course GREEN and yes green is my fav colour😊.

I’ve also taken this shot just using our sims windlight setting so if Faith sees this post she can see a bit of what’s been happening while she’s been away…..and I’m even planning on moving the church because she CAN’T STOP ME!

So now for the Dollarbie and the question is “when is a hunt not a hunt” and thats when the hunt poster also has the prize attached to it and this jacket is the prize for the Spring Hunt.

It comes in just the standard mesh size fits, I also joined the MLM Frees and offers group which isn’t free but at only 5Lds it may as well be and I picked up the fashion trainers, you do only get the 1 fit and I’m not sure which one that is but it took nothing to tweak it to fit my SLink feet.  There are other offers/discount and freebies in the shop so a nice mix of stuff.

So nice I got it twice.(Hunt Prize).

It wasn’t until I unpacked it that I realised I’d already grabbed this SL F& O (Second Life Frees and Offers) Hunt prize but for some crazy reason I didn’t do a post about it.

I’ve not done as much of this hunt as I had intended and I’m pretty sure you will have as it’s just one of the best at the moment.  Anyhow this is the gift from Exmachina. The place was very busy with people trying to find it, really easy to find, and I don’t think anyone will be disappointed with this prize.

Although I’ve played with the editing you might just be able to make out that this is yet another faked arms/hands in the pocket pose.  You get his ‘n’ her sizes and I have to say I’m wearing the smallest size.

A Different Style.(Freebie).

I’m just killing time before a new Gacha event opens which should be sometime today so yesterday I had popped over to Dench Design to grab the gift Faith blogged about (and yes Ramona it is free for all and not just group members and you will find it just outside the entrance to the main shop).  Turns out it’s as cute as Faith described.  Also while I was at Dench Designs I splashed out on a lot of greenery for our sim so while I’m waiting for a gacha event to open I will be sprinkling more magic over our sim.

OK this is an odd Freebie but it’s come from a shop I’ve not visited for ages called ::K:: but as soon as the shout out for this freebie was sent out I TPed over. It’s an over the shoulder jacket.  OK Since I’m someone who doesn’t bother to wear jewelry, bags, knickers etc in SL I’m not really going to wear this draped jacket but people DO like to completely accessories themselves and it is nice to come across something as new and different as this.

You do have to join the group but it’s free and in the pack you get his and her options plus 2 shades and one is obviously the pink I’m wearing but the other shade is I believe gray.

Briiiiiilaint (Freebie).

It’s so wrong and yet it’s so right, popped over to “Brii Underground”  for a look see and I found not just Christmas decor but Christmas music in the background and noooo it’s so wrong it’s not even December yet but I totally forgive them because the Christmas spirit is strong with the gifts set out for us.

A whole outfit, jacket, skirt, leggings, boots n gloves.  You get an Omega and SLink appliers for the gloves and legging.  Honestly, the quality stands out.  Just like me in this piccie…..

…..You all know my love of taking boots/shoe piccies lol found the perfect pose. Oops looks like I’ve put the wrong leggings on but the ones in the pack are identical just a bit darker more chocolatey.

The Brii group is free to join and there are a couple of full outfits for just 1Linden as well.  If the LM doesn’t take you directly to the gifts then when you go inside turn left and there on the inside wall just further along.

You will also spot 2 face lights in the bags KEEP THEM! They’re so subtle and handy esp if you like to take pictures of yourself inworld then they’re like “Touche Eclait” for your AV.

Just a note about the hair and the skin.  The hair is the Mina one from the WHimsical (sic) event and I’ve still not been able to squeeze my behind into there yet but if you can you should because this is a discount event and that means this Mina hair called Indica is discounted by 15% at this event plus you also get the addition of the new and bigger colour pack, 10 shades instead of the previous 5.

Now the skin, this skin is one from a paid for group and for 100Lds you get not just this brilliant skin but there is a few more.

Ignore the mouth as I am wearing a “smile” tattoo layer.  I was working through my invent and binning stuff inc skins and when I came across this old blogged skin I fell back in love.  Friggen excellent, “Patricia” ticks all my boxes, pale, freckles, and 4 cleavage options from itty bitty to gazungas!  Patricia comes “browless” and she looks amazing like that but you also get a whole pack of brows as tattoo layers.  I will at some stage strip off and show you in all her pale, freckled, naked glory.  Ah and I’ve just remembered not only do you have the 4 boob sizes you get 4 “bush” sizes, I’ll let you work out what I mean by that LOL.  So again 100Lds to join the Mynerva group and you get it back in spadeful with what’s set out.

PS Mynerva comes with only the Omega Appliers and if you haven’t got that then you should.  Only 99Lds and it’s turning out to be an invaluable applier.

Yeehaw (Freebie).

Spent most of my Sunday watching crabby horror movies and trashing everything I’d managed to find in SL and just as I was about to give up I got my “yessss” moment.

Honestly I was so pleased when I opened the box of goodies because you get not just the fringed jacket/top combo BUT the denim high waist shorts and a pair of simple flat strappy sandals.  All items are top quality and you get some mesh bod fits plus all the standard fitmesh sizes and as always a lovely and much appreciated touch is the fact that although the jacket/top is a 1 piece the shorts are separates and you know what that means, mixing and matching with other outfits Woo Hoo…or should that be Yeehaw?

I popped over to the latest round of FaMESHed event to check out “Ginny”which is of course a New Mina hair.  I’ve kept this picture a KISS (keep it simple stupid) as I just wanted to show off my whole look as it really looks in MY SL world ie Nams Optimum Skin n Prim setting.  Ginny is one of Mina’s simple and wearable hairs, with just the right amount of hair covering your face, a nice thickness to the back it’s just basically SL hair at its most realistic.  What isn’t so realistic is how at the click of the Hud you can change the colour to whatever mood you’re feeling that day what a shame RL isn’t like that LOL.

As always I’ve put the link to her mainshop because there is so much more there to see and again I sauntered off into her mens hair and I actually started to count how many of these “mens” hair I actually own and wear because they’re so good on both sexes!

OK it’s a reblog for this top because its way too good not to rant on about, check out the second picture and you will see that it comes with the jacket but very handily for me both items come as separates and I had binned the jacket but only because I have way to many things and I knew I would get much more use out of that excellent strappy t-shirt.  Both items come with colour changing Huds and that’s the same with the SLink shoes you can see in the 3rd picture.  For the jacket/t-shirt you will have to join the SLoffers & frees group and the shoes the NoName group but both GG inviters are both right there to make it easy to join.

PS that brown lippie is one of the make up packs I bought from one of my recent blog posts Livia and it cost me the princely sum of…5Lds!  Remember that all their lippies and nails are extremely reasonably priced ie cheap and you even get the Mesh Head Appliers for the Lippies!  Lots of demos for you to try and of course some freebies so if you haven’t been tempted yet you might be with this one.

What I also like about both of the NoName freebies and that incs the shoes,  is that the colour palette in each item is also complimentary to each piece of clothing so you can wear either the same colours or contrasting colours and yet they will still match each other.

PS If you have an old LM for NoName don’t use it because it’s been temporarily relocated to the…MOON! so use my LM.

Never give up (Freebie & New Mina Hair).

Just as I was about to give up, log out and go do something else I came across this quality Freebie jacket from Virtual Diva and it was a case of “YESS finally”.

I think a brilliant and very stylish find.  You get all the standard mesh sizes and also a Fitmesh version.  As soon as I put this on I knew that this old freebie find I still had would be perfect with it but it and it also shows that if you pick the right sizes then you can layer it even with other mesh clothes.  I have to confess that by the time I found this jacket my SL time was running out, I have RL work to do which is always a pain in the ass lol, but I quickly scanned the shop and then just as quickly logged out as all I could see was POSES and the last thing I need is more poses so I can’t tell you much about the Virtual diva shop at this moment other than you got to pop in grab this GG and if you need some poses then you may want to loiter…..OH Wait I did notice I’m pretty sure that if you also wear your group tag you get a discount on the poses so you may want to remember that or check it out when over there.

Yes more Mina hair but Mina Nakamura is a lady who has managed to find not only a niche she can fill and one that provides her and hers a living but also allows her creativity to flow but to make sure everyone knows her name she pulls out all the stops to bring out so many new designs and have a precence in so many of SL events.  That means that to get this particular hair, Luisa, you will have to go to The Seasons Story but don’t panic as although this is a very popular event it’s on till the end of the month so plenty of time to let the crush die down and you can enjoy all the offers and new items that are there.

I like to keep my poses very simple so you can see the clothes clearly and I love this pose and the camera angle because it shows how the Mina hair is formed and shaped.

OK I’ve just got about time to LM grab and then grab a quick-lunch before I have to get some RL work done.

PS Thanks for helping me clear my yardsale freebies out, I’ve spotted that people are buying but for some reason not taking the items, chances are they probably don’t know that they have actually bought them but in anycase this morning as soon as I logged in I sent all the bought items on to the buyers and I’m hoping tonight to get the yardsale restocked and I’ll let you know when it is.
