1,2,3

Does this not look inviting? I have found that when someone spends time and money-making their shop/store look great then the stuff they sell will be great. This is Ice (Icewood Bayn) shop called EoD (End Of Daze) and yes I blog them a lot because I love his stuff.  Clean, uncluttered, unfussy, excellent texturing, low primmed, low price and on and on.  Less is more with his designs.

ShopThe 1,2,3 of the title is how easy it was to rezz his brand new range of kitchens.

WinFirst rezz the rezzer and as you can see it has been made idiot proof so you can simple place it where exactly you want your kitchen to fit.

Win3

Then rezz.  Because it’s clearly marked on the floor where the fronts are it just makes it easy and everything is locked into place just in case you do need to move it and then once happy one click to finish and the rezzer is removed and you end up with this.  A complete ready to go kitchen.

Comes with great single and couple poses, although as a singleton I’ve not been able to check the couples one but I am happy to assume they’re going to be just as great and a choice of colours.  The green is shown the red is more vibrant and the white is emm white.  However in SL I am almost a midget so my feet, even in my tallest heels, are still floating a bit off the floor with the poses.  I did try to find a normal sized AV(Faith is also a midget she just doesn’t admit to it) but I couldn’t.  You could if your on the small size like me slightly lower the kitchen to no ill effect on the overall appearance as there is a kickboard BUTS I’m pretty sure for you normal sized AVs this is a perfect fit.   Having said all that it’s hardly a major thing esp since the AOs are pretty smooth and cool.

win8The kitchen on its own is 17 prims and another for all the extras comes to another 10 prims. However when you stand and wash dishes the sink miraculously appear and when you use the cooker you get a pan to fry or a pot to stir.

utensilI have to show you all the accessories which are rezzed with it but are not joined so you can use them, move them or lose them but since they are so low primmed and so detailed I’d just leave them.

Utensil2Zoomed in on the close up so you can see the detail AND I’ve not blurred this picture it was take in my fav normal setting,  nams optimal skin and prim, so you can see how realistic these things look.  That knife block is only 1 prim and the scales are only 2!

I’m not sure how I’ve missed this before but if you’re a Group Member then not only do you get regular monthly group gifts but a discount on your purchase.  So make sure to wear your tag and click the prominent Group label next to everything in the shop.

How Low Can You Go! (oops My Bad)

Julia clean useGreat timing as I had just been to Creative Decay to snag all the Group Gifts, freebies and cheapos when Evhalyn Serpente sent out a group notice asking for someone to blog her latest creation from Creative Decay, so knowing the quality of her builds I quickly responded and she sent me this.  The home is called  Lofted Solitude and has been specifically designed to not only sit on a plot of 512 plot (or bigger) but with so much designing and yet so few prims! a total of 23 prims  means that those on a restricted prim allowance can not only have a stylish home but also free up a lot more prims to decorate.

Julia Clean1The use of split levels, slotted partitions, built-in shelving, glass wall and cutouts has made this a very detailed home and again all of this for 23Prims even a door to a patio area.  This is intended for land, nothing to stop you placing it in the sky of course, and the outside of the home is also detailed to look less box like.Julia Clean11The neutral colours of grey/beige etc allow you to splash the colour about.  The 2 hanging chairs in the background come with the home but they are extra prims but pretty good AOs so if you can spare the prims you will love them.  I do like my photos but I have to say I don’t think I’m showing how big this home really looks inworld so trust me it’s wide and long and a very generous size. Comes in a very hand Rez box which is easy to use.

Not only must you check out her inworld shop because she has some great group gifts, some freebies and some cheapies but also the demo area which I remember so well because Faith and I spent quite a while there not long ago looking at all of her homes and we both loved so many of them we couldn’t make up our minds which one we liked most and ended up buying nothing as weird as that sounds.  Lovely low primmed, well textured, modern but not harsh homes.

Non Clean1This is one of the Group Gifts I’ve managed to unpack (joining the group NOT  free, it is 99Lds) and it suits it’s name Darth. Big and scary and yet something which is begging to be created into a home.

Snapshot_014I’m stood about a third of the way in when I took this photo and I’ve placed a chair so you can get some sort of perspective. The 2 line are the door to the final room which is glassed and a click on the class will make it either trans or opaque.  The only other home I managed to unpack was the 20Lds crime scene home.  Lots of room, space, dingy, dirty and  a great prop for RPing.

I can also see that Creative Decay have sign boards up for the Him and Her Hunt which starts on the 16th and 2 lucky boards, can’t get much better than that.

TreeAnd finally something a bit different.  I was rummaging in my invent for items to furnish the Lofted Solitude home and came across this from one of my Fav shops, End of Daze.  They not only do great retro, modern clean well textured  furnishings and accessories  but they have a whole selection of wall decals of which this is one.  I’ve slapped it on a bare bit of wall and what a lovely wall filler for only a prim it is.  Big with muted colours it looks almost 3D.

SORRY I made a mistake because it turns out that it is 99Lds to join Creative Designs.  Honestly if you can spare it then the freebies and discount you can get are worth it BUT the Mini VIP IS a Freebie for all (Phew my ass is saved).

Tell No Lie

So I checked my RL bank account and then paid my tier fee and the first port of call was End of Daze (EoD)  Although I did have a change of heart and a quick search of my invent showed that I have too many Xmas trees to buy more so I didn’t buy the ones I drooled over at but I treated myself to a couple of things.

TV

Of course I have TVs in SL because quite frankly they’re so common but I simply don’t have one as realistic as this one.  Obviously this isn’t a working TV but the detail real right down to the plug in the wall and the sheen on the glass is so realistic.  A 100Lds is such a good price for such details.

Table

And yes this is my sky home.  Shabby chic on land super cool in the sky and this dresser is so neat it fits in my sky home beautifully.  Mentioned this in my last post and I knew as soon as I had some spare Lindens I would treat myself and now I have.

Table1

Not overloaded with poses but more than enough to make sitting there a pleasure.  The table dressings are rezzable and so is the brush with a brushing AO.  A dark coloured item but not oversized and heavy looking.  Lovely attention to detail such as the drawer handles are the same pattern as on the stool. 150Lds was a great price for this lovely dressing table. So pop over and see what tempts you too.

Dazed

Lap

How realistic is this laptop? So realistic I actually had to zoom in on it because just for a second I wondered if I could actually click those keys and see if something happened but of course nothing happened but it’s the most realistic laptop I’ve seen in SL.

Wine

This wine bench, the laptop, 2 world maps posters, photo frame and picture frame (one day I will actually get around to putting a photo in a photo frame!) are all group gifts. Costs you a 100Lds to join but I’m more than happy with what I’ve got for that.

This shop is called (EoD) End of Daze Design and it’s owned by Icewood Bayn.  He has created furniture which is slightly mannish, slightly retro, unfussy, uncluttered furniture with clean lines and  excellent textures.  Prims and prices aren’t that bad at all.

Special mention to a couple of things.  The most realistic pool table I’ve seen yet. So much detail so few prims and the accessories for it such as the cue holder are just classy.  Faith had to check it out and yes it has a small but good rudie menu.  What I spotted most was a lovely dark dressing table with rezzable accessories, a small menu of hair brushing etc but just lovely.  A set of modern minimalist wood Xmas tree so low primmed and with loads of colour choices so you could rezz a dozen and make a little forest of them and then last but not least a livingroom set which has some great retro seating with a modern touch.  This set  includes an indoor rope seat which even Faith thought was so different. This is very much  a mans shop stuffed with very unisexed furniture and I love them all.

And yes I did forget to take a picture of the Great Outdoor Hunt item.  That doesn’t mean it’s not good, a lovely low prim simple garden bench with a few poses and so worth the 45Lds.  I just got carried away with my shopping list for when I come back.
