Time for a break.(Freebie).

Doh, not only did I forget to prim check I didn’t even pick up a copy of this simple but quality gift from Apple Fall!  You know Apple Fall is known not only for its stunning designs but also more than reasonable prims so I think a build like this will be very low primmed.

This is the New York Apartment which is easy to understand when you look out of the window.  To get this you have to use the TP just outside of the mainshop doorway and TP to the demo and you will see the large price tag on the wall but it’s been set to ZERO Lindens.

There is also a Golden Apple Hunt going on at Apple Fall, you have to get the Hud, just at the LM, and wear it as you search for the apples.  When you have the full set you can score a super prize….I’m guessing that last bit as I still only have 5 of them so far but it’s time to return to RL.

Rage against the machine!(Inc Freebies).

I hate friggin Gacha’s esp this one!

No matter how many times I hit it with my pan, ok paid 60Lds, I didn’t win the prize I wanted which of course is the house behind me.

Although I’m happy(ish) with the wins I won it means I spent my last lindens on just “stuff” and whats even worse is that in this shop there is a couple of items for my home I really want but will now have to wait till I allow myself some spending LD’s, yes I have another “weekender” booked as I have been working so hard recently I really need it and I also need to start saving for it.

This is one of those shops where a whole area is taken up with the builds, furniture and decor set out for you to buy.  What I’m planning on returning for is a retro/vintage style fireplace, light fixture and sink,  pretty unique and fabulous for styling your home….can you tell I’m not sure which time period these pieces are from but I would say either Art Deco or near to it.  I’m just inworld checking and I think most things are from the 1920 ties or there abouts.  I’ve also spotted there is an MP shop so you can see the style I’m talking about.

There are FREEBIES and of course, I’m just showing you the 1 of them and actually I didn’t even bother taking it home unpacking it etc but of course, I’ve snagged it.  Super realistic and only 1 prim!

Some of the items you have to pay a linden for but it is paid right back at yer, some of the items in the small display shop are set for 0Lds.  Some lovely old pictures, books, a table emmm wracking my brains now and apart from this weird ass picture of a rooster drinking coffee I can’t remember what else there is but a nice little selection of home decor items./

There is a notice there asking for “bloggers” and I would be so tempted to apply, I’m not going to, as this stuff is so interesting and so reasonably priced I would feel good about showing it to people but I prefer not to be a blogger for the couple of shops I do because I like the people I work with.

PS I did have a lovely time wandering around and you will notice outside of the cafe is a sign and also a free cup of coffee for you to pick up so PICK it up! as it’s a prim and again exc quality and a great prop for your home.

Non too shabby, shabby.(10Ld Hunt).

Honestly, I haven’t even returned to the Fantasy Cream Hunt before I got tempted by another.  Fortunately, for me, I have a few hours spare so as alway once I click “Publish” I’m going to be hunting down a couple of items from both hunts and checking out some of the shops I’m not too familiar with.

This is called “Autumn Harvest Hunt” and it goes on until the 26th so still a good amount of time to go hunting.  This isn’t totally free but at 10Lds dirt cheap and check this out.

As you can see this comes in a rezzer.  I just rezzed it on our sim and using our sim setting so you can see it.

Not the lightest of prim counts, sorry forgot to check but I’m sure it was about 50 but I could be wrong, you do get quite a lot for those prims such as the net curtain, candles etc.

A big fire and yes I know I’m stating the obvious lol.

The main is in 2 separate areas and there is a back room as well with a door to the outside.  The stairs lead up to a really good bedroom and all is in this shabby old worn paper.

Even the bedroom has the lit candles.

I’ve put the link to the LMs and pictures, at this moment I’m trotting around the sim in that ball gown from Cog & Fleur but I’m too lazy and too busy to show you but it’s worth more than 10Lds.

New round of collabor88 is open yippeee! Its one of my favourite events and I’m always chomping at the bit to get in, but never can for a few days. I’ve got this to show you from Scarlet Creative though, and it’s just glorious. This is the Laurel Dovecote house, fits a 1024 plot, is 140Li, there’s a demo above the vent so you can take a look around. Lots of peeling plaster on the walls and warm sanded floorboards inside.

 

The bedroom is a galleried affair and would easily fit a bedroom set . I totally adore the details on the windows, especially the exterior view. Of course as the name says, its cot a dovecote above which is such a pretty feature. Go seeee!

The Arcade – in yet?

Well I haven’t yet been able to make time for the Arcade tp fest – you know how it is, fifty teleport tries – might get lucky ! However I have hit the yard sales fairly extensively and gathered up a few of the pieces on my want list. I can share with you today the rare win from Scarlet Creative yay! This is the Anastasia house and it’s just amazingly gorgeous.  From the outside, yes – pretty – but go inside and you will be blown away! Features galore, rooms aplenty and just when you think you’ve seen it all – BOOM, attic rooms up a flight of stairs! Outfront you can see the gazebo which is another of the wins but there’s plenty more to keep you playing – gilt couch, bed, high back chair, fireplace, cabinets etc, all made with Charlotte Bailey’s eye for quality and charm. Give it a whirl – when you can get in !

What a way to return to SL with this amazing FREEBIE!

OK first off Helloo cos I’ve been so RL busy it’s been both a blast and knackering, an old English term for very tiring, as I’ve not only been enjoying Christmas and New Year completely I also chose this time of year to start a new job! Now that RL has finally started to calm the F down I’m going to be back inworld from Monday and bargain hunting just like old times.

So the first thing I did when I got inworld was to try to grab some of the December gifts that are still set out and I managed to snag a couple of goodies and then I came across this from Blueberry and it has the OMG factor.

I have to point out that the snow is all ours but if you want a snowy outlook I’m pretty sure that there will still be plenty of free snow rezzers out there, having said that because I rezzed this house on our land there may just be a snow rezzing but they blended in with what we already had.

The main door is on the side and you can see the balcony on the front with sliding doors.

You get 3 versions in the pack this is the land one and although it’s prims made my eyes water you get everything you see, the snow base, trees, house and shrubs and they’re all linked so so easy to rezzz and derezz.  You get the exact same layout in the skybox version with I believe a skydome over the top which adds a couple of more prims to the count but you could literally have a winter home all year round in the sky and a summer home on land.

You also get an unlandscaped version and so I quickly rezzed this on my platform for some quick snaps as I didn’t want Faith to come inworld and faint at the lack of prims left LOL.  The house on its own comes without any snow so perfect for any woodland setting and any season.

I took all this photos in just my nams optimun skin n prim setting and haven’t touched the piccies up at all so you can see the quality.

Gorgeous staircase up to an open balcony bedroom area which is big enough for a bed/bath and any other furniture you’d like to set out and I do believe a window that looks out over the front.  You may have to watch your prims as this isn’t lightweight esp the sky and snow version, even the house on its own is still around the 200prims BUT they’re worth it.  A gorgeous build and with them being linked for a lot of people it makes it so easy to create a stunning home with minimum effort and with such gorgeous builds you can keep the indoor decor to the minimum for a classy look.

I knew it! OK so I popped back inworld to LM grab and this time everything rezzed completely, I was having comp issues yesterday, and I knew it that Blueberry isn’t somewhere you would go to buy a new house or some items of decor, Blueberry has some amazing clothes so nice I just grabbed the LM resisted some adorable balloon decor items and TPed out because I’m poor LOL.

Oops I’m not a 100% sure now but this may just be a Dollarbie or you need at least a Linden which is return to you when you “buy” this house..I’m a bit rusty at blogging now LOL.

Dysfunctional ?

I was at Dysfunctional Designs the other day – positively NOT looking to buy yet another home ! Then I came across this sweet build. Its called the seafarers cottage and boy oh boy its SO low in prims your eyes will water. Just 14Li ! Its got so many features too, see below:

This cottage is approximately 14 land impact and 15×15 footprint (the outer posts/walkway) and contains 3 roof options, 5 exterior options, 9 interior options.

Inside you have two living spaces, downstairs which I’m currently using as a lounge, then a staircase up to another level which I’m going to use as a bedroom / artists loft. Running around the middle of the building is a useful gantry, I’ve set out an Autumnal bench and will find a few other bits n bobs to decorate it no doubt. Unbelievably this is priced at just $195L !
