It was my birthday in October and as usual I was thoroughly spoilt by Player. Amongst the glittery jewels and pretty clothes and shoes – was this piano. Now I have quite a few pianos in Second Life – in fact I could prolly open a piano store ! I’m always looking at them, and most importantly the MUSIC they play. To me there’s not much sense in a piano – no matter how beautiful or low prim – if the music isn’t PIANO music? As a pianist myself (I admit a really bad one!) the instrument isn’t beautiful unless the sounds are. So many pianos in second life don’t actually play piano music – yes really!

Sooo when I opened this beauty up, cracked my knuckles and sat to play, I felt pretty tearful when the sounds came out. Piano pieces, loud and clear and so many to choose from. The playing animation is perfect also. This Baby Grand is a delight but wait – there’s more to it than that !  A total of 10Li for the piano and play book BTW.

Sushi !

 

As soon as I saw this new range from Aphrodite I got a big cheesy grin on my chops – I simply LOVE Sushi! The Monster Sushi truck is at the latest round of Creators Collection Box, other items in the range such as tables, lanterns etc also on sale. Forty six animations and twenty-two props to wear, its GREAT fun. When I first laid eyes on it I thought it might be a bit primtastic – but have no fears it actually isn’t. If memory serves me correctly I think the truck is 24Li, tables 9Li.

Heart Homes have been busy and they’ve released this Hot Spring bath for the latest round of Tres Chic. Not just a lovely looking item for your home/garden but functional too. 17Li , that includes the fireplace and a total of 139 animations. Up to three couples can use this at one time or of course, singles. You get a choice of hot or cold water, the water being cloudy of course – just like a real thermal bath ! Easter Break

Heart Homes brings us this superduper Finnish sauna boat just in time for entertaining at Easter ! It’s perfect for inviting a few friends over – plenty of space outside on deck, and an upper deck too. Inside is a fully animated sauna, poses for singles and couples. The exterior is really shabby chic at its best, peeling and faded wood, rusty rails – even an old anchor .

Along one side is a shower, couples and singles poses – dead handy to rinse your sun cream coated hands off, or cool your tootsies.

On the front of the boat are two towels with a nautical print, both are crammed with poses for lounging about and a few activities such as guitar playing, tablet etc. There is also a totally lovely hanging chair. Nothing is hard linked so you can really make it your own space.

On the upper deck you will find a lovely lounger to catch some rays, plus a table and chairs – perfect for a picnic or partying! I seem to recall the boat itself was around 48Li, with every piece of decor approx 91.

Almost time to get stuck into all those Eastery treats – better get our living spaces sorted out to reflect the merriment. Aphrodite has this fantastic set out at their Easter market “Vintage botanical Easter corner”. Plenty of poses in the chair and connected stool – suitable for males and females. It’s all rather shabby chic with an added dash of cute !

You can have as much out as you like and prim budget allows, but its pretty Low Li so I would use the whole lot. Go take a peek, there’s so much there to see, plussss the new range of animated swaying trees – which is just gorgeous.

Heart Homes has released this lush Alpine retreat just in time for the best of the Winter weather. The snowy roof is optional so it could really work for you all year round. Heres the deets:

This house is about 15x 15 meters in size with porch and about 12,2 m meters high with chimney.

2 rooms on the ground floor (one with a sweet little optional 5 LI kitchen (with 11 animations and 8 props), the other with a fireplace, and 2 rooms upstairs, with fireplace made for a bedroom.

Warm woods all around. rear door to put to a hill, front door to the porch. raised construction against cold and high snowfall.

I really enjoyed messing about in the kitchen, you can remove it if you’ve already got your own but give it a try, it has some super animations and wearable props for cooking, cleaning etc.

The wood textures are so warm, upstairs would make for a spacious bedroom and separate bath room for a single pringle or couple. If you need a nursery it could be utilised as that. There is lots of scope for making it your own cosy nest!
