I was milling around in my SL home the other evening when a group message came through from the owner of Queenz. “Come to the front desk Ive got gift cards to give away” – I dashed over and woohoo the store owner gifted me a $1000L gift card! I was super thrilled as I had found a hunt item in this store a couple of weeks ago and absolutely LOVED the gift. First thing I did was search out the item I had hunted and bought it in a few other colours – see above. (Its upstairs and is called “Emollient” if you’re interested) One thing I would say is check the mesh bodies the items fit – it sadly looks as if this store might be dropping the Maitreya body with new releases as new items don’t feature it 😦

Once you’re in the group (its free to join atm) you then have access to a wall of superb group gifts. Now I chose a lot of the gowns to share with you as I thought perhaps you might be thinking of attending a NYE bash in Second Life? There’s loads more gifts though, chokers, heels, body suits, outfits etc. Oh! There is also a Christmas tree out at present with a load more gifts – not sure when that’s going to be removed though.

Old Friends.(Dollarbies).

There are some shops in SL that I visit on a regular basis waiting for the newest Group Gift and !g0 is one of them and nope no new Group gift.

Then I had a brainwave because did you know that there is a discount and gift department? F*ck yeah I kid you not!

Lots and lots of Dollarbies and although they’re marked as Group Gifts they’re old ones so you don’t even need to be in the group just pay a Linden and they’re yours.

Just the top in this case…I swear SL is just like RL where I have my fav jeans.  I’m now wondering if I can get away with green jeans in RL as well.

Some of the clothes are older and come in the S,M,L etc sizes and some are newer and come in Mesh bod fits.

To find the discounted items and the Dollarbies you can either use the shop TP, it’s the stack of boxes near the LM or walk to the first door of the shop to your right and they’re upstairs.

Think about joining the !g0 group it’s one of the groups I have been in almost from the beginning. I LOVE the !g0 style I also love the regular Group Gifts and often a certain colour of a new release item has been set to half price for Group members and then, of course, we have CHRISTMAS! I know it’s way too early to be thinking of Christmas and Advent Calendars but when it comes to !g0 and their Calendar if you’re going to just do one this year make it !g0’s as the gifts are outstanding.  You do have to be in the group but it’s ONLY 50Lds! Still the same piddling price all these years later.

Check out the whole shop as there is everything from floaty hipster to costumes.  I have an amazing hat/hair from here which when I feel like wandering SL dressed up like a lady and not some cheap-ass blogger emblazoned with “demo” signs I put on a gown and this hat/hair and float around like Lady Muck or if I’m feeling it I pull on my Ballet shoes and the best Tutu which I bought from !g0 and pirouette my way through SL.

I had to leave.(50Ld Sale & Update).

Normally I don’t do a post when a shop is closing down but sadly Poulet Koenkamp, the owner of Purple Moon Creations, is shutting up shop but only for good RL reasons.  So as a big thank you to all of her customers old and new she has set everything to just 50Lds.

This is one of the more fanciful outfits BUT ignore this image if this isn’t your style as there is everything here from tailored pants, suits, ball gowns, jackets, cardies, undies and jewellery etc and everything is just 50Lds.

Even though I actually bought another outfit, a pants and jumper set, I’m dreading going back for the LM as I just know I will cave into temptation.

So hop on over sooner rather than later as I don’t really know how long this sale is going to be on.

PS.  And also a BIG THANKS to all of the workers behind the Purple Moon Creations, creations.  I know that when an inworld business is as big and as active as Purple Moon there is often a team of people behind the label.

UPDATE

I just had to buy this “Thumbelina” gown and then I just had to show you it to you.

Obviously I’ve had fun with the picture but you will try the demo on first.  There seems to be a mix of the old mesh standard fits and the newer mesh body fits.  This outfit comes in the old standard mesh fits ie XS, S, M and the S bodice fitted me perfectly but again try the demo out.  Honestly, I sometimes like to tart my AV up because after all to a lot of people SL is for dressing up.

And then back to practical and classy.  The cropped jumper is a common style but it was really the pants I wanted and the jumper was a bonus.  You can tell this is one of the newer range as it comes in so many mesh body fits.

Again everything in the shop is 50Lds and I will NOT be returning as I will just buy even more.

Purple Moon Creations

Too poor even for a Groupon.(Freebies).

I’ve just spotted a massive spider on my ceiling it’s so big if I tried to trap it to put it outside it not only looks big enough to put up a fight but to actually win it!

I’ve got polar opposites to show you but both come from the same shop called Virtual Diva.

Neither of them is a good fit for my shape and in fact, the jacket, which I remember blogging years ago, comes in just the standard mesh fits but apart from the limited sizing it’s still very wearable.

So why am I showing you them?  Because there are many more gifts in the Virtual Diva shop and some nice items in the lucky boards near to the GG’s and of course if these fit you then you’ve scored.  BTW check out the gowns here, very stylised and stunning plus I did treat myself to a massive pair of bright red wings from a Gacha.

PS.  The jeans I’m wearing are the ones which will probably be in every blog and a post will have been sent out in all the free groups and they’re the NEW GG’s from Coco Design.  They are more grey than is shown in the picture but come in all mesh bod fits and are a handy addition to any wardrobe.

I had just TPed over to Legendaire to grab the NEW SL frees & offers (sic) gift which is in the usual place just outside of the entrance to the shop, and as I landed the notice came through that yet again the Legendaire group is FREE to join but only for the next 24 hours.

TBH since I believe the group is only 100Lds to join in the first place and for that you get LOADS so even if you’ve paid the joining fee you get it back in spadesful.

Legendaire is a shop that regularly puts out New GG’s, as well as gifts for SLfrees & offers(sic) and even a gift of shoes which are free for all, plus lots of weekly discounted items and then the icing on the cake is a whole dept full of gifts and discounted items!  The newer Legendaire Group Gift is inside and if you look on the floor you will see the TP to the old GG’s/Discount dept OR when you land just turn left LOL.  I’ve only used the TP to take me to the older gifts but it turns out that all this time all I had to do was turn left and the dept with all the goodies are just there.  ake sure to check out the whole shop as there are also “steals and deals” dotted around as well as gift boxes you can buy.

The “Sorry” is that out of ALL of the clothes and shoes I picked up I chose these and I’m 99% sure I’ve shown you these before!  Why I didn’t pick up the New Legendaire gift is beyond me but in anycase ignore these if you have seen them before and quickly join and go get the newest pairs for yourself.

PS Lots of the outfits come with a complete look and/or shoes with big colour Huds.

Old Friends.(Freebies).

Azul is the sort of shop you feel you need to get dressed up to just go shopping in it as it’s such a bright and grand looking shop.  It’s also pretty big so it’s handy that there is a TP Hud at the LM which will, once you give it permission, TP you to all the different areas such as formal, casual, Group Gifts and this “Garden” area which is where I took my pictures and as you can see calling it a garden is a bit off as there is nothing but gorgeous watery sim with this little pavilion and another even smaller feature.

There is a whole wall of the free to join group gifts, when I go back I’m going to check out what the paid for group gives you, and this dress is brand new.

For the Azul free group, you get this red/orange version and for the SLink and frees group it is the blue colour the third colour is for the VIP group.  Yes, there is a lot of “flexi” in this dress and in fact in all of the old Group gifts flexi still plays a bit part of the designs.

Of course, you can just not wear the flexi if you don’t want to but some styles really do carry it off well, for example, this next one.

This is one of the really old GG’s and I bet Faith will remember it but honestly, it still holds up so well.  When this dress first came out everyone ran to grab it, it’s almost an SL classic.  The “Flexi” bit swirls smoothly around you and if you’re an SL dancer check this one out.

I am deffo keeping this big flexi skirt and popping it into my folder with my Ballet clothes.

I should have used a different pose for this dress as I’m covering up too much of the top.  This is a classic SL and RL style and it’s why Flexi still has a place in SL as this dress is very reminiscent of Elisabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn, stylish, classic. PS If you do get this dress the belt on the skirt has a script in it so just click on it and you can make it smaller.

There is so much more than what I’m showing you, some newer GG’s, as well as the older ones and I bet like me you cannot help but grab so many of them and I had a really lovely time this morning trying them on with and with out the flexi and I may have ended up binning all but the skirt from this last one but there is a black one which

PS Go get those Legendaire Free shoes I mentioned in my last post as I feel guilty I didn’t do a close up of them and I wore them with these outfits and they go so well so if you haven’t popped in then emm pop in.

I have the heart of a poet…and the mouth of a guttersnipe(but I still come with FREEBIES!).

Not 100% convinced sl isn’t still borking but the status update is giving us the OK message so I quickly logged in and 2 took shots.

Love this sim setting, anyhow yesterday I was working my way through the 25Ld Tuesday list and the Poets Heart shop is on the list, but I can’t remember what the 25Ld item is because as soon as I saw the Free GG’s I forgot to look for it.

This is a lovely and unique dress.  You cannot change the main colour of the dress but the leaves and flowers come with a colour hud.  The top also comes as a separate.   Was nice to be able to pick up something so different for a change.  Both items come in standard mesh sizes.

I was going to show you the other 2 items, a rich purple gown and a robe with added hood butttt I still don’t trust SL at the mo so this is it for now.

This is a quick post as I have to install a printer in RL and you know what that means “STRESS” so wish me luck and I’ll see ya’s later, SL willing.

PS Check out this weeks 25Ld Tue list as it’s pretty good and I think I ended up buying 4 items as to whether they’re in my invent or SL has ate them I haven’t been able to check yet.
