Apple Delight (and of course Love Donna Flora).

Yeah! SL allowed me some mooching time so I grabbed Apple Mays weekly offer.  For a token 25Lds you get this sumptuous figure hugging fish tail dress called Eve.  The hot pink is the reduced item and it’s slashed to a very low price especially when you see the full price.  If you can’t grab this then make sure to slap the sub board because Apple May Designs have a new fresh offer out each week. PS had a fun time looking at some of the old photos I had loaded into my Michigan Shack Projector (can you spot the nifty pixelation?).

And of course a Love Donna Flora offer.

Hair useThis is what I call a “stylised” hair do which means I don’t think it’s designed to mimic real hair 100% but create a very sculpted and accentuated look (I could be wrong though).  I’m wearing it in the top photo as well and the front is rockin an Elvis style quiff whilst the behind has 3 fat rolls/buns of hair at the nape of your neck.

The Vintage Fair

The Vintage Fair opens today! I honestly can’t wait for it to open as I’m a big big fan of retro & vintage work…fashion & decor. It’s a huge huge HUGE event packed full of all your favourite stores plus some that you can discover afresh..it opens at 4pm SLT 11th November. Heres the info:

“Vintage Fair (from Nov 11th to Dec 3rd) will showcase 200+ brands each exploring inspiration from the vintage eras of 1920 – 1980. With new and exclusive items from every brand involved and music every day. More information on http://www.vintagefair.tk. A CHIC Management SL event sponsored by Ivalde, oOo Studio, Alienbear’s, Ingenue, GiZZa Creations, Artilleri, PurpleMoon Creations and Indyra Originals. It will be held over two sims, built by Aya Liotta of ABODE.

This event is NOT FOR CHARITY. A pure profit event created to showcase the excellent products available in the vintage community and to encourage designers to attempt a vintage inspired product.”

I will be reporting back of course when I’ve managed to get over there, but for now …above I’m wearing a complete outfit by ArisAris, slip dress with a camisole in rich satin and fat buckle belt..over it a lush leopard fur swing coat…fur trimmed cuffs and a thick close cut fur collar complete the glamorous styling.

I had to show the outfit again so you could get a load of the divine skin by {.essences.} it’s the Dharma skin and comes with two versions plain or made up. The pretty red bow-shaped lips really makes the face pop and gives it such a vintage appeal. I added my GOS Pumps and fuzzy piggy tights from Jane to finish..voila! See you there!

Two ladies…one tub

Meet the girls ! Julia & Vashti…both new from Ruby Skins…Vashti is above…a model type chick (I’m wearing my own shape but the skin does come with one very similar-a mod version of it can also be bought instore yay!)) One thing I totally love about these skins is the dewy feel to them..not harsh or orangey or flat..but the skin looks soft, there are 5 make  to choose from, included also is an extra shape (non-modifiable) with slimmer hips to wear system skirts alone. Also included is a modifiable brow made for her shape and a blonde tintable hairbase.

Heres Julia a gorgeous shapely woman..all curves and softness in just the right places *wink*..Julia has 5 makeups;  nude, red-smoky, pink-blue, red-blue, and a maroon-green eye look.   She includes an extra shape (non-modifiable) with slimmer hips to wear system skirts alone. I’ve not worn a larger shape before and although this isn’t overly plump…its a definite change for me, very womanly & feminine. Both skins are out instore for sale NOW ! 800L per skin, you get the five makeups & shapes etc…thats a remarkable 160L per skin . Demos available to try..go gettum…thanks Carmella xx
