Virtual Tourist – Wander around (Dollarbie outfit & hair)

Starting out on my day trip around Whispering Windz with a fab outfit from Jelly Roll, all dollarbies including the baseball cap and hair ! Each piece has a Hud with colour and pattern options – that should bring a smile to your face ❤

Whispering Windz (I usually avoid places or stores that use a Z instead of an S – but hey ho!) has lots on offer to entertain you – from a log flume ride, rope climbing, hot air balloon, boat rides and more. I really enjoyed climbing through the trees on the ropes and walk ways, the log flume was just brill – nice long journey and great scenery.

As you arrive by the log flume you will notice a white post that acts as a teleporter to all the destinations. Click and choose where you want to go and the URL appears in your local chat – click that and off you go. I was unable to find the race track though!

Virtual Tourist – All aboard !

I really enjoy a train journey, and I’ve done this trip before many times – its so relaxing. Above is the track and station layout for the Zany Zen Railway. You can join at any station but the trains do run to a timetable, so you might need to wait for it to arrive – very realistic! The wait isnt long though and some of the stations have a little cafe, or a museum, shop to visit.

I boarded and noticed that the sit animations were new – hurrah ! Proper poses male and female, it makes me twitch when I’m sat with a poor animation – OCD much? !  Chugged along at a pleasant speed, I hopped off at each station to explore. So my journey lasted longer , very nice way to spend a morning.

There is a mixture of passenger trains and cargo trains – you can hop aboard either. The scenery is varied, there’s even a viaduct. The train noises are so comforting and the moving isn’t jerky or troublesome when crossing sims.

The stations are just adorable, dont jump when you get greeted as you arrive on the platform ! I , of course, visited the gift shop and bought a presentation lump of coal ❤ All stations listed below.

Free cars to get around !

I love modes of transport in Second Life – find a rez point on the mainland or just whizz around your own patch of land – its great fun ! I found a few free vehicles at Aikioto – this is the Easter inspired car – super fun and has all the bells & whistles you’d find on a paid for car.

also picked up this soap box racer ! Lots of poses so it would also make a great prop for photos but its just a brilliant little vehicle. We might be in lockdown in real life but theres no restrictions on gadding about in Second Life huh? If you’re looking for new modes of transport take a look around – heaps of choices and a large area that you can rez a demo in and take a spin – found the camper van of my dreams there – its been added to my “when I have funds again” list of must haves.
