Thanks Jenny ! Freebies

I had a lovely note from one of our blog readers Jenny the other day – a brilliant tip for some fabulous free items. I haven’t been to Lunaria for years and was so thrilled to arrive and find free gifts galore ! Jenny had pointed out the gorgeous plants and ground cover items in her note – and they are gorgeous for sure. However I was trapped like a deer in the headlights by the numerous lucky boards with clothing ! They are on a really short turn over so you wont be waiting long to win something. The dress I’m wearing above is “Annabel” and is one of many free group gifts on the wall to the left of the plants. My Bunnie was also a free gift – don’t miss out on the two wooden chests stuffed with gifts that are lying on the floor – Thanks Jenny ❤

Feeling my “Ho Ho Ho”.(Freebies).

OK, sorry no freebie clothes as yet but these gifts from the …shop have made up for that.

As you can see from the riot of colour I haven’t changed my sim from Autumn to Winter, I just ain’t had the time. Those 2 poinsettas are gifts. 2 Prims only.

There are 2 options for this lamp and this one not only has a subtle glow but an equally as subtle candle spluttering noise.

It’s the plant which is the 3rd gift.

These really are quality gifts, keepers in fact. Low primmed, well textured etc.

There are other gifts on the reception desk, check out the football helmets.

I TP’d. (Freebie).

I braved a TP to a shop which has a tempting Gacha offer, now reboxed up for the next giveaway lol. The first thing I spotted when I landed at the shop was some rather nice planting/landscaping and one-click showed me that it is the work of a sim designer who specialises in planting and she also has a Marketplace shop and in that shop are 2 FREEBIES.

This little rocky patch is 14 prims and YASSSS editable!

She has hundreds of premade landscaping scenes which for some people are just so handy and although she doesn’t have an inworld shop I think you can see they’re quality planting.

PS.  The other freebie is a Christmas planter.

SL17B – There’s more

I’ve begun wandering around the SL17B sims to see all the builds – fantastic ! You can start wherever you like but I decided to begin at The Welcome Area and explore from there. I always think the SL birthday events are just kinda magical , I’ve been to every single one since 2007. Events, a hunt, live music and more ! I also scoped out the gift area – yes MORE gifts – some are the same as at the shop & hop but that’s cool as I didn’t pick up some – so collected them here in the relative peace and quiet. Some are new though and I adore this little wearable car by POW – just add it and go – it makes the sweetest little engine noises, also you can stretch it to fit – nice.

Link for the gift area is below, basically just point and click at everything there! Dead chuffed with these 2 amphora’s with roses – just 2Li each and super lush – these are from the ROMA  SPQR role play group.

Guess how many prims? (Info only on Freebies).

Sorry but you’re too late for these freebies but join NOW as not to miss out for future ones.

Hayabusa for as long as I’ve been in the free group has been amazingly generous with its gifts.

This a Bougainville(I think) is a prime example.

I think most of the gifts esp the newer ones come with complete menus so you can change everything from the colour of the petals to how the wind blows the branches/leaves.

Ignore the outfit, that’s for my next post, I’ve plonked myself in front of the tree/plant/bush/shrub(?) so you can get some idea of its size.  I’m not sure if you can shrink it but I wouldn’t be surprised if you can’t.  As for guessing the prims if you said a number higher than 2 you would be wrong!  Yup this stunning statement piece is only 2prims!

I had to log in to take a better picture of another random freebie sent to me and it’s this wheatgrass.

All of the gifts are non-copy so I only have the 1 patch but over the past couple of years, I’ve gained dozens of free big statement trees, plants etc and yes it works because although I don’t buy tree’s I’ve bought many a field of flowers my Lavender ones are my most beloved purchase from this shop.

Sorry you can’t join the group and find in the notices any freebie as said they’re just sent to you on a random basis so sign up now for future ones.

PS.  I have given you the LM for the Haybusa shop.

It’s not easy being a Cheap B*tch! (Freebie(s)).

I think like a lot of us over the coming weeks/months  I will have to penny-pinch like I’ve never pinched before!  I’ve even put the idea of buying the “itty bitty pert titty” mesh body that legacy has come out with off for a while….till I cave in! Then like a fool, I decided to pop into the Dust Bunny shop and as soon as I saw one item I totally regretted and now there is another thing on my “buy” list.

Last stop was to check out the CJ Gardens shop and yes I’ve added something to my “Buy” list but I was also happy to see NEW Group Gifts.

Which are these planters. I’m a bit confused as you get what looks like 3, linked, gifts but all 3 are the same unless I was missing something.

You will find this in the large greenhouse.  If you’re slightly interested in what is tempting me it’s that Frog Pond in the main room.  I even went to the Swank Event where it’s actually on sale and although the price is more than reasonable because I’m not 100% sure it can blend into our sim setting I think I will just add it to my “buy” list and have a think about it.

Although a lot of the CJ Creations stock is premade little setups there are a lot of single items.  The over stuffed planters are really stunning statement pieces, the little pre-made scenes are so reasonably primmed when you see how much detailing has been put into them or like me when I return I’m going to grab myself the big fat blousy poppies to use on our sim as they are within my Cheap B* budget.

I’m having a breakdown.(Freebie).

On my never-ending search for landscaping items, one shop I always visit is the  “Two Moon Shop”.

This shop specialises in premade landscaping gardens, homes, parks etc everything from a cottage surrounded by very cottage style plants to a whole working farmhouse, inc a big red barn, paddocks, animals etc and all you have to do is plop it in place.

No fiddling or faffing it’s been made so simple even a NOOB could do it and this pond is a prime example, as well as being the freebie.

I just plopped it on a bit of our land and Voila, it’s a no brainer.

Add to all of that totally EDITABLE! Which means you can break this right down to the individual plants and rocks.  Even the water is made up of I think about 4 layers to give it depth.  I remember previously having a pond rezzed in my garden and what I did was edit copies of the plants to smooth and blend the pond into my garden.

As I’ve mentioned this pond is the freebie, there is also a couple of Lucky Boards AND an Auction board where the highest bidder wins the item and when I visited the bid was at 99Lds with 48 minutes left so someone was probably going to win themselves a very nice country walk set for 99Lds.  A new thing is also a weekly offer called “Frisky Friday” which is a whole build for just 99Lds, this is going to be something I check out every week!

You can use the large TP board to hop to all the different areas.

I’ve although I intended just to LM grab I cannot help but check out the whole shop and there is everything from a small vegetable garden, a working farmyard with livestock to a full-sized Abbey! I KID YOU NOT!
