Catching snowflakes.(Cheapie, Freebie(s) & Discounts).

This snowflake is the last bit of snow on our sim and it has to go just like this sweater/cardie.

I got this a long time ago and even though it is what I call a “classis SL design” it has stood the test of time with the detailing and quality of the texturing.

It actually comes with a skirt which I binned after I’d blogged the outfit the first time. I do remember the skirt being just as much of a quality item as the top so you may consider it to be a keeper. Only 3 Lds as well. You will find this and other gifts for other cheap or free groups on the wall in the room on your left.

The actual Petry Model group costs 50Lds to join and in the entrance you will see some really good discounted items but only for group members.

As for the glasses they were a random pick up from a shop called “Ohemo” I missed them the first time I visited as they’re on a shelf at the side of the stairs. These glasses come with 3 different frame colours and a M/F fit. There is also a couple of pairs of very nice looking earrings.

PS. As I was LM grabbing I spotted that on the wall behind the desk in the Ohemeo shop is a freebie for one of the BIG freebie groups. I didn’t grab it as I needed to log out plus I do like to leave you with a suprise.

The party is over!(Freebie).

I’ve falling into the “rabbit hole” which is the wearing of fleecy pants/joggers as I’ve eaten/bloated myself out of my jeans. The pair I have on now are so big I could do the “Hammer Time” dance. I’m not going to wait till the New Year and today I’m back on track with healthy/yummy food and no regrets.

A nice simple oversized snowflake sweater from the Emerald Couture shop.

You should recognise this shop as I’ve blogged a few items from here but if you don’t, turn left and the last isle has walls of Group Gifts and promos. On the wall at the back are also Lucky Chairs.

Feeling Fuzzy.(New Amiable Gift).

I knew it, Amiable is also having a 50% sale going on

It also has this new Group Gift out for us. It does have that fuzzy slightly blurred look which is suggestive a angora wool. This isn’t my fav gift from Amiable so it’s lucky that they do keep them all out so there is a whole wall of gifts to be found.

PS. The shop has had a little bit of an update and the shelves of Group Gifts have moved but are still in roughly the same area.

I was suprised. (Freebie(sss).

From a brief glance, I thought that “Mashumaro” shop seems to cater for a specific Kawaii/Manga style and body shape which turns out to be totally wrong as all 3 of the Group Gifts I picked up come in all the standard mesh body fits.

I know I’ve visited this shop before as it does have a really lovely “Stay at Home” gift out for us. I’m pretty sure I will have blogged it as I cannot see any reason why I wouldn’t blog such a pretty off the shoulder summer dress.

What I missed from that visit is behind the reception area wall are other Freebies inc this simple little two-piece. I can’t remember all of the gifts, I think there is six in total, but I do remember that there is an off the shoulder yellow top and a sweater which was obviously the previous Valentine’s Day gift as it’s covered in red hearts.

UPDATE: I had to return to check out the “Stay at Home” gift as it was niggling me and nope I’ve not blogged this dress, I have blogged one very similar but with a different pattern. Since I went over I grabbed a copy just to show it to you.

It’s a WIN, WIN, WIN, WIN, WIN, WIN ETC.(LOTS of FREEBIES).

Bloody Heck I went to the “The Seasons Story” event this morning and I know it’s stuffed with Freebies as it’s celebrating its 6th year.  I just walked around grabbing away so lots of stuff to unpack and lots of LMs of shops old and new for me to check out later when I have more free time.

Then when I logged back into SL after a coffee break I decided to try to find some clothes and I’m so happy.

I didn’t do a close up of the boots as the damned ground texture would not rezz and I waited and waited just like a cat waiting to pounce but in the end, I gave up and this is the best photo I managed. The boots come from Hilly Haalan which means quality, lots of fits and a big hud of colours.

Always remember that the older Hilly Haalan gifts are in a stand-alone room behind you and to us long-timers, we will have had them in our invent but there is some damned good stuff in there and a couple of items perfect for the season change.

My next port of call was a shop called Sevyn.

As soon as I  walked in on the wall to my left I spotted some shoes which are the “The Weekly Limit” offer.  I would have sworn I already own those shoes/boots but a quick check of my invent proved me wrong. “The Weekly Limit” Kimora Heels only cost 50Lds and I think you will see why I was tempted to buy them but you will also see a smaller picture and it’s of this FREE “The Weekly Limit” Group Gift.  A superb Norwegian(?) hoodie. Plenty of fits, great quality.

The Seasons Story (Lots of Freebies)

The mess I’m in.(Freebie).

I’ve been thinking, planning, preparing and prevaricating about changing my home and landscaping to a more Autumnal feel so much so that I decided to finally pull my finger out of my behind and I deleted my house.

I’ve always found that by doing that and leaving everything literally just hanging around is a great way to force me to get my act together plus when I pick up all the pieces it’s a great opportunity to sort though it all.  If you’re wondering the house in the background is going to be my new home.

A simple post for a simple top.  This comes from “Vooh” which you might have guessed from the slogan on the front. Again I’m not a big slogan fan and for me personally it’s a shame as you get 20 lovely colour options in the hud but all also have this slogan on the front but thats just my taste if you like slogans then you’re in for a real treat.

This is one of the Freebie in the Vooh shop, I vaguely remember a couple of the others ones but the group itself does cost 50Lds and on the other side of the room are the paid for group gifts.

(Yes those are the pants from my second most recent post and if you’ve not got them go get them so you can have this whole look for 0Lds).

Winter or Summer.(Freebie).

Although I am still hoping for some more warm summer days in RL a BIG part of me is an Autumn girl.  The simple joy of a flickering fire, cats cuddled up, oversized jumpers to hide the fact you’ve eaten one too many slices of cake/pie/biscuits etc cannot be beaten.  Which brings me quite nicely to this.

Let’s be honest we probably ALL have this jumper already, not only because it’s a No Cabide gift, but because the template of it is pretty common but this one comes 20 excellent textures and I honestly don’t think I’ve seen them before because I’m sure I would not only remember such great textures but would have actually kept this jumper and it’s not in my invent.

I got this off the No Cabide Marketplace shop, I will be visiting the inworld shop soon, and you can see from the picture just how good those textures are.  So I may have chosen a winter theme for my backdrop but really this is a jumper for any season.

PS.  I’ll check where I got that hot chocolate drink from and if it’s a freebie I will do an update.
