Finally got time to head over to the Halloween Shop & Hop ! Oh I had a lovely time as the crowds had died down and I was unmolested by the lag monster. Thank goodness for Naria Panthar though – that brave soul she is – she did a video on YouTube showing every.single.gift !! I watched it a couple of times and made notes of the items I really liked – thanks Naria!! Above I’m wearing the gift sweater from Neve – its so cute ❤ Comes with a Hud giving four colours. The chair is the gift from Trompe L’oeil stuffed with poses and just 2Li. I did buy a few items as all the designers have amazing discounts during the event !! Yes yes yes I just couldn’t resist the Culprit animesh pet “Halloween” version – he makes me grin with his various antics, dances and sayings ! Also grab Culprits gift – its SO awesome!

You MUST visit QE Designs store – it will set you up for the whole season! They have a box full of Autumnal clothing (dress, jeans, booties, top) plus some really lovely home wares. My hair is the gift from Sintiklia – fat pack of colours with some bonus Halloween tones added in. If you’re a fan of Addams clothing (and who isn’t) visit their stand to collect a fabulous $400L store credit !

Cory Edo’s genrosity continues!

We all know that last year Cory Edo the owner of Trompe Loeil was so generous with full quality builds and a piece of furniture as gifts for the “Stay at the home club” and since the world, on the most part, is back to full lockdown just look at whats out for us.

Yeah, this is a FREEBIE!

I clicked on the window and you get the wood screens up. It’s these small touches which really make a build stand out.

Today my first post was going to be those small plant pots on the fireplace. You can also see my horses bum through the window as I had to rezz this house on the field he runs around in.

This staircase is just so well done.

The stairs lead up to a bedroom which is pretty big, big enough for bed, shower, lounging area. Nothing has been skimped on this build.

The chair is the extra gift, you get 2 shades and I think this is the dark one. Excellent poses as expected with Trompe Loeil.

The table in the background is a Christmas Gacha freebie. You will see that there is a stand showing you all the prizes in the Christmas Gacha’s, only 25Lds a pop. NOW PAY ATTENTION because you do need the table to get the Cacha prizes.

The table is the “2020 calender” and when you play the Gacha you get a “key” which you then rezz next to the “calender” ie table and then “~ Then, rez your 2020 Key next to the Calendar. (You must REZ the key – it cannot be attached to your avatar.) The corresponding numbered ornament on the Calendar will light up, and you will be given a surprise gift!”.

Don’t worry it’s all in the note so read that and I think when I log back inworld I may just give it a try as at only 25Ld for the Gacha even though Christmas is over I’m happy to hoard my prize till next year.

Good Morning. (Dollarbies or maybe Freebies).

I’d have loved to start a new week off with clothes but so far it’s been a bust clothes-wise.  For us homeowners/hoarders I have scored well though.

The bed is a normal size it’s the room thats small.  Love this bed, love its simplicity, love the way the blanket is creased and folded I just love it.

As you can see you can change the pattern on the blanket, not sure how many options you have but you do have more than the 2 I’ve shown you.  Ooo I’ve just logged into my Marketplace account to check the details and you get 8 patterns for the blanket and they’re all lovely.  I did know that this bed is only 6 prims and I didn’t check the cuddle poses but the single and sleep ones are more than useable and you get some wearables as well ie a book.

You don’t get a texture option with this chair and throw but you do get a lot of really good poses!

As you can see from the little sign on the footstool these are Zen Creation gifts.  These aren’t the only Dollarbies I picked up from the Marketplace and I can totally recommend the kitchen sideboard set and although I didn’t pick up the bathroom sink set if it’s the same quality then you can’t go amiss buying it.  I’ve only just spotted those pictures which I’ve just added to my basket as I think they will suit my new home perfectly.

Alas so far in my hunt for new free clothes I’ve just found old freebies so I was more than happy when a notice came through for a brand new hunt. I did find an item of clothing in one shop but the group invite wouldn’t work so, in the end, all I have is some furniture to show you.

The shop “Famous” is new to me.  There isn’t much in it so far but this really good hunt prize is a start.  I just love that crochet covered lounging chair and in fact in RL I have a couple of cushions with such a similar crochet cover to them it almost so I had a little chuckle when I saw the pattern. Nice poses as well. The stand with the word “junk” on it is also included.

Freebies Part 1.

What a great start to a much colder Monday morning.

Trompe Loeil has their NEW FREE FOR ALL out and yet again another top quality build just for us.

Again as always there is as much detail on the back of this build as the front, those doors are sliding doors such a nice touch.  Can you see the seats/shelves built into the side emmm bits..not sure what to call them?

This middle staircase neatly breaks up the large lower room and although I’m not showing you there is a nice fireplace as well.

Upstairs is a very useable platform with tons of space for a bedroom and even a bath etc.

As for this chair/stool set WOW not just keepers but I’m now wondering where I can squeeze these into my home. I think the name of this style is “Modern Danish” and it’s a style I actually love in RL but have you seen the price! Never mind at least I can own this even if it’s in SL lol.  Looking at the picture of this set on Flickr it looks like you can change the colour but it doesn’t matter if you can’t as I personally love this colour.

I’ve left this lot out because the house is I think 51prims and the chair 5, stool 2 so hardly prim eating.

A Fishermans Friend.(Freebie).

Cincoe has opened a new shop on what looks like a very pretty shopping sim.  Although I did a snatch job in that I TP’d over grabbed this then TP’d home what little I saw of the Cincoe shop and the sim it’s on look so pretty I can’t wait to return to check it out properly…which will now be tomorrow.

This “Fishermans” chair is a free for all gift and it’s top quality and only 2 prims.

Not many poses in it but really nice ones and as an avid book reader that particular pose just sings to me.

PS.  It’s next to the reception desk.

Cincoe (Puddlechurch sim)

Home Sweet Home.(Freebie).

The chair and tulips are a gift from the Reka shop.  I adore the superb furniture/decor in this shop and yet apart from the Group Gifts I don’t think I’ve ever bought anything from there and it’s because they stand out so much they make your other furniture look dowdy!

There are a few more other gifts which I’ve not unpacked yet but I suspect they may have already been blogged but I could be wrong, hoping I am.  Even if you don’t have an SL home you need to make sure you pick these up as one day you never know!
