Group Gifts – Calling All Foodies!

Oh my dayssss – if there’s one thing I adore in SL its FOOD! Player and I spent ages looking & sampling various things at stores and events – and we both just adore this stores items. Store called [mamere], and its chock-a-block with food glorious food. Id actually gone there to buy two items that were in the weekend sales and then saw all the group gifts and decided to join up.

The group does cost 150L but seriously for the quality and amount of gifts its not expensive. I rarely join paid groups but this one – is just SO worth it ❤

I’ve placed just a few of the group gifts out in the two photos above, the animations, the details on the items is fantastic. Love the eating animations for your face – brilliant. All the items above are mostly 1Li, I think one was 3Li and a few at 2Li.

Just as I was writing this post a notice came through saying there was another group gift! The “bucket for pudding”, you get a holdable version, a rez version of both pudding and a bucket of pudding. You’ll find the group gifts towards the centre of the store on their own separate stand, check both sides, as the newer gifts are to the front, all the rest are on the reverse. Ooo I’ve just seen their offers for this weekend – Kitty milkshakes ❤

Don’t hesitate.(Freebie).

Not too long ago I did a post about a free Hot Chocolate kit from Andika, well I popped back into the shop and there is a new GG out for us but because I think it’s a bit Valentiney(sic) you might want to grab it now just in case it goes soon.

You get all of this linked and all of this unlinked and if you touch the bottle you get sent one of those stunning glasses with a very delicate Bento holding pose to slurp on.

I couldn’s scroll back that far to find the old post that featured this but as you can see I did find the picture I used so I’ve dusted it off as if you didn’t get it the first time then get it now…..that’s an order!

The newer more Valentine gift is just to your right and this older one with another GG of fabulous wearable mugs, that maybe one of them in the bottom right of the pictures, are just there.  This isn’t a massive shop so you really shouldn’t have any problems finding them the only problem you will have it resisting buying any of the food displayed and as for the poses…NOPE I’m not going to even try them! I’m trying to whittle down my existing poses and only then when I know where I stand, or should that be pose?, will I start to invest in some new fresh poses.

Still not over! (Freebies & Lovely Shopping Sim).

Christmas doesn’t need to end because these stunning decor items from Disorderly can be used all year round as far as I’m concerned.

I took so many pictures but in the end here they are altogether AND it’s not really all of them because you get gold and silver versions.  Very low primmed, I think nothing was over 2 prims.

This full pack of decor items is just 1 of the gifts from Disorderly as there is a Halloween based pack of decor items and for us picture takers some really excellent props and wearables.  I will be dropping Faith a note to make sure she goes over to grab these.

There is more upstairs than downstairs and I found a couple of nice extra freebies and a whole lot of temptation! The first freebie is the tray of tarts next to the “Alice tea table” and further in next to the broken garden table/chair set is what looks like an old hunt prize of broken garden pots. I’ve logged out now but I’m looking forward to checking out the Cureless shop as well.

I’m updating this post because I just wanted to add this extra bit of waffle.

This is how ALL shopping sims should look in SL.  This is the sim “Clueless & Disorderly” is on and once I’d checked those shops out I just wandered around checking out the others because of the way its designed, laid out, lit etc just makes you want to linger and even spend some Lindens. I won’t show you what I bought as I don’t think they will interest you but there are some random gifts in the random shops on this shopping sim so if you have time to kill then check this place out.

Times up.(Freebie’s).

RL cannot be ignored and so in 5 mins I’m going to have to log off SL and log in to RL…damn!  So instead of rushing back and unpacking and scene setting my latest freebie I simply pointed and clicked on the plant which is already being used as a decor item on the beautiful little floating platform which the Mokka shop is on.

You get 2 shades of this Hydrangea, this “purple” one which looks pink/red to me and a blue version.  Just stunning.  3 prims to each clump but the boldness of the colours means you just need to use 1 or 2 of them to get a great impact.  This item is a free for all so just click on the board to buy for 0Lds but there are 2 food based GG’s as well……..and that’s it time to goooooooo……

Time for tea.(Super Freebies).

Wow, 2 amazing and stunning gifts. One of my addictions is DUST BUNNY, I really hate going over to the main shop because it inevitable ends up costing me big time but my Goodness their stuff is just perfect and I have to say not unreasonably priced at all considering the quality.

So when they put out a freebie, you do have to join the Group but that’s free, and look what it gets you.

This little wood board with the most delicate roses to make rose tea.  I forgot to click on it to see if you get sent a wearable but that doesn’t matter.  Even if you don’t have an SL home still go to get this and one day if you ever do get an SL home then I bet this will be the first thing you rezz.

And this will be the second.

A fruit platter and this time it’s from Omen.  Again the quality detailing is second to none and only 2 prims for this one and 3 for the rose tea one.   You know I’m not inworld at the moment and I’m squinting at the picture and if you look closely at the Tupperware for a moment there I though that was a rezzing problem but I actually think that’s an amazing realistic detail they have put in where you can actually see through the plastic/glass Tupperware container! wow.

So both of these are in the same place and you buy the “Omen” one for 0Lds and it’s on the left-hand side, trust me easy to spot when you get there.

What a bunch of Tarts!(Freebie & clickbait for you dirty minded peeps).

Very quick post as I was just about to log off but this Freebie from Merak was just too tempting not to grab.

You actually get the cake stand with the tarts on but of course I went into full edit mode and you can edit to a certain degree but the plate in front I’ve just lowered the cake stand so that more modern looking base is actually under the table so you can see both the stand and the tarts.

I must confess that since I was grabbing this in my last few SL moments, plus I was buck nekkid meant I’d just TPed in and snagged so I can’t tell you much about Merak but I do remember it vaguely from both the stunning sim it’s sat on and a previous visit a long time ago to grab anothe Free GG’s which is candles inside of a glass case and guess what? they’re still there.  So candles or cakes it’s up to you.

Big Discounts @ Home Whimsy

Another month another round of Home Whimsy yippeee! This is a small event so no lag fest, in fact I decided to peruse the stores on the sim as it was so refreshing not to get bogged down. %percent have a scrummy box of Sakura jellies for their item, the box rezzes closed, touch it and it opens, touch again et voila! A delicious jelly treat is in your hand to scoff. Just 2Li so you wot be afraid to scatter the boxes around – works for anyone who touches it . Little bit of background on this piece:

“These jellies are a desert common in Northern Japan around the hanami flower season. They are a single cherry blossom flower suspended inside a sweetened almost-solid jelly. The RL versions have a faded blossom, (due to the creation process,) but I kept the blossoms in mine brighter to match how they appear on the cherry blossom tree. “

I also nabbed this sweet tree from Lunar Seasonal Designs “Menu Driven Nest Seat in a Cherry Tree “, as you can see I’m lolling about rather nicely reading a book but there are lots of other poses too. Now I thought this was just a cherry tree – but it isn’t – oh no, you get a seasonal version, even snow! You can also change the seat textures and bark. With 50% off its quite the bargain for something you can leave out all year round.
