I did try to take a picture of the top but with my SLink body, I couldn’t really get a good enough fit esp since I also wanted to get a close up of the texturing which is pretty darn good.  A nice amount of colours in the hud and although I couldn’t wear it again you may have the right mesh bod or an alpha that you can use.

A totally new shop to me called “Spectacledchic” and yes I did think I would find it full of glasses but nope, it’s a very small shop with an even smaller selection of clothing but very nice stuff.  This does seem to be slightly different in that you can only buy fat packs so the prices can appear to be a bit steep (I think they average 500Lds) but you do get a really interesting selection of textures and colours.  There is a pack of sheer blouses which I have to say is pretty darn tempting but because it’s 500Lds and for some reason it also looks like everything is gonna just be a Maitreya fit.  I can only hope that as the shop grows, which I’m sure it will, the owner will expand the mesh fits as well.

Although I had noticed the restricted fits I still decided to try my hand at the Gacha (75Lds) as lots of the styles look as though I could make them work and in fact the skirt I won is wearable it’s not the prize I had wanted to wear.

2nd Half (Super Bargains).

As promised this is the second half on a post and this one is for some exc and affordable decor items.

I have shown you this bed before but at only 8 prims and 30Lds in cost it’s well worth a reblogg and you get a Menu not for nookie but to change the colours of the pillows, blanket and smaller blanket.

This isn’t a big shop and a lot hasn’t changed so the sun loungers than both Faith and I loved are still there and so are a couple of small little freebies but everything here is at a bargain price.

This rocking chair is new and you get a selection of colours in the pack, 5 and also a static and I’m going to presume a rocking one version.  If you check out my last post you will see this is also Mod so I shrank one down to an itty bitty size which is perfect for a doll, child or pet.  Even the full-sized one is low primmed at only 2 prims.

Just before I logged off I decided to pose hop and there are the standard and nice poses but then to my surprise this excellent knitting and embroidery pose.

A nice touch was when you click “yes” to accept and wear the attachments you don’t lose one of your bits ie a hand.

I’ve spotted that there is also a Marketplace shop which does seem to have everything that is for sale in the shop BUT I’m pretty sure that those pretty frilly socks and one of the Windmills is a Freebie in her inworld shop so it’s well worth checking that out.

Migraine Be Damned (freebies, Dollarbies, Cheapies, Fat Packies :-))

Loordes of London is a shop that does really classic solid items of fashion.  It’s like the Marks and Spencer of SL which means the clothes are both excellently textured and fitted then add to that so reasonably priced!  Maja Signa (coleen.macarthur) has so many of her items set out at events and even in her Mainshop at such reasonable prices and they’re worth every Linden.

Another great thing about Loordes of London is that they add new items to their stock frequently so I would really reccomend you at least slap the sub boards so you can keep upto date on the new stuff and the hunts and special events they regularly take part in.

There isn’t a vast stock here and a lot of it is non mesh but don’t let that put you Mesh Heads off as everything is top quality.  There are some great shoes and boots and standing here writing this I couldn’t resist snagging the Nottingham boots fat pack, again only 10Lds for omg yet another 13 shades! Non SLink which tbh when it comes to boots I don’t think that matters very often.

However there is a selection of mesh items as well and this simple sweater dress in the above picture is one of them.  This one comes in a total of 10 colours.  A simple scrunchy knit looking sweater dress.

I also picked up this Ugg type boots, Cheshire Snow Boots which are a cross between slippers and boots.  Unless I’ve counted wrong there is a total of 17 shades in this pack!

I scrolled through all my old posts because this is another dress which is now on offer for only 10Lds at this sales room I have already previously blogged.    I didn’t pay that little when I first bought this dress but knowing Loordes of London it would have been such a bargain price in the first place.  Not the best picture to show the colours etc  but since I still have this dress I know it comes as a 1 piece and it’s a simple shirt/skirt combo.  Very early settler in style and if you like a bit of RP or authenticity in your SL then a great outfit.  Not sure if the 10Ld offer is a Fat pack like the other items but even as a single colour (teal and dark brown) at such a cheap price it doesn’t matter.

If you walk out of this side of the build to the other you will see some artwork again on offer.  I actually bought a picture from here which is the first time in years I’ve bought an actual SL picture but it’s Folksy style will be excellent in my home I’ve just got to find where it’s disapeared in my invent LOL.  Lots of different styles here from framed beachy prints to a very recognisable style of an American artist whos name I can’t remember.  Deinately worth a visit as well.

Faith found this shop a while ago but this is the first time I’ve managed to pop in and loved this hair and loved the fact it’s on offer for only 55Lds.  Although it is resizable the bow isn’t recolorable.  Sorry a rotten photo because you can’t see the back or anything like that but a demo is available for you to try.  I’m working on one heck of a Migraine here and since this hair is only at this price for a short time I thought Migraine or not I must get it posted.  If you do miss out on it then check out the next piccie for a Marketplace Dollarbies from Cheveux.

And then I went to the mainshop to grab the LM and found that there is in fact a Free to Join Group Gift so yet again I couldn’t leave SL till I’d taken a piccie of that.

PS the bows on this hair come with a texture changing hud so you have 4 options or you can wear the hair without the bows.

Popped over to the Him V Her Cart Sale but at first I was a bit disappointed because unlike the larger Cart Sale where everything is priced at a cheapo 10Lds there very little is priced as low as that however that doesn’t mean to say that there isn’t bargains galore to be had.

The first of which is this simple and sweet dress. Mag<3.B as one of the more bargain priced cart because the most expensive item is this dress but then again considering the pack actually contains 4 colours and textures and all of them come to only 50Lds thats more than a bargain.  I choice this simple white cotton one because that texture is so reminiscent of old Linen, pillow cases, Lavender and old things found in storage in trunks in the attic.  If you want more colour then there is a yellow striped version, a pink flowered version and a blue patterned version and it was hard to chose which one to wear until I put on the one I decided to take a picture of.  Excellent texturing and all come with all the sizes and as I’ve said 50Lds for ALL of them.  Nothing on her stall is over 50Lds and there is some real pretty socks and tights for the Kawaii in us all.

Make sure to pop to her main store because she has some absolutely lovely Group Gifts out and the nices pair of clogs with socks I’ve seen in a long time, I have blogged them so I will have a looksee to see if I can put the link to them in here as well.

Nice to see an equal amout of space given to mens stuff as well as the girls but there is also a load home and garden items, food and accessories all laid out in easy to navigate stalls.  I picked this boat as a decor item on my land.  Haven’t decided where to plonk it yet but at 10prims and 50Lds I thought it makes a great decor item.

This is the post I pushed to one side to do the Follow Us bargain but this is also such an AMAZING offer that it’s not often I get Gob Smacked but I was with this.  So it’s a basic and excellent SL cropped, tied shirt, exc texturing, great fit, button details at the cuffs etc and at 70Lds a damned good price but check out the hud that comes with it because you get a MASSIVE 55 colour options!!! I have to say some great shades as well everything from zingy lime to pastels, pure white to darkest black and even some patterned options.

This top and many other great discount items can be found at The Cosmopolitan sales room it’s really worth a visit as I ended up with yet more poses and SLink shoes at such great prices I couldn’t not treat myself

Now that I’m in Alyce’s main shop it’s obvious that I’m not the only one who is so impressed with Alyce’s Cosmo offer because this shop is packed with other AVs checking out her stuff.  Like me they will probably be buying a lot and the reason is she, Alyce offers fat packed colour huds with ALL of her clothes, shoes and nail packs.  A simple skater skirts with a colour hud of 40 colours for only 90Lds, a whole outfit of jeans, jumper and snugs with yet again a 45 colour packed hud for only 75Lds a pantie set for only 90Lds and an even FATTER  fat pack of 120 colours. I didn’t pick anything up this visit because it was so busy but I’m heading back there next time I’m in world and getting myself that panties fat pack all I need to do now is remember to wear them.

A notice from Sn@tch had come through that the Lucky Boards and the Fish For This item and the Riot boards were all filled with NEW STUF so I made sure that when I logged in this morning to TP straight over there and hopefully I’d win something as I killed time trudged through all my notices and the minute I landed I won a whole new look just  from one LB.

OH Booger I’ve forgotten what it’s called and now I’m not in world but I will post this then when I get back in world I will add it’s name but what you get  this top, shorts, leggings, boots, earrings but also…

this top and skirt.  As it happens I already had this shoulder less top in my invent for a long time and it’s been such valuable asset for layering and also so sweet on its own as I usually team it with a pair of shorts.

Not only does Sn@tch have LBs but it also has a “Fish For This” outfit which usually consists of several items which means you can mix and match a whole look and if you join the Sn@tch group there is a thriving swapping culture (a lot of Sn@tch items are trans but not the LB items) so if you have many copies you can easily hand them on and if you’re missing a vital item then a simple message in the group usually has several people offering you that item.  You do have to have the Seven Sea’s fishing kit but you don’t even need to use bait to win the clothes!  “Lets Riot” is a call sent out often in the group and again this is the ONLY place where people regularly riot bringing the price down on the 3 items that are usually up for grabs.  When the call goes out to “riot” people TP in even if they don’t want the items but to let others grab a bargain that s how nice this group is.  A friendly group who are more than happy to help but in no way SPAMMY.

Sn@tch is well stocked with new fresh Mesh Items but it still retains its massive selection of non mesh stock and updates non mesh items regularly.  People still want non mesh clothes and even if you’re a complete mesh head the texturing and styling on Sn@tches clothes make them stand up so well even against mesh.

PS if you can’t find the LB, Fish, Riot area esp since Sn@tch is now a new shop then turn on your mini map and just follow the crowd as a lot of people seem to use this area not only for the goodies but as their hang out place.

New Sn@tch (Group Gift)

Sn@tch again but then again Sn@tch is one of the best shops in SL.  A big shop packed with the best non mesh in SL.  Everything from the basics to the RPing outfit.  There isn’t many shops in SL which I will buy non mesh items from and Sn@tch is one of them due to their texturing and wearability (and price) being second to none. That of course doesn’t mean Sn@tch lags behind in the Mesh or Lola dept though there is Sn@tch for all tastes..Boom Boom.

This is their VIP freebie and it’s called Helena and not only do you get all the mesh sizes but 5 colours, Ice, Ivory,Mint, Rose and White. Now I’ve been a Sn@tch VIP for so long  I can’t remember how much it cost but one thing for sure I’ve received my moneys worth back in spades.  Too many “VIP” groups seem to take your money and you never seem to get anything but that is not the case with Sn@tch.   Murderdoll (ivey.deschanel) NEVER forgets her fans because not only do they put out shop quality gifts because  but because they regularly update their LBs, Riot Venders and the free to anyone gifts (usually placed on the table in the entrance).   If you have a free group space then join Sn@tch if you have some Lindens spare then become a VIP because the group is chatty (but not intrusively so), friendly, helpful and once that call goes out everyone comes running to lower the riot boards to as low as they go even if they don’t want the items themselves but just to help out others.  The hangout area where the boards are also had Seven Seas fishing and is nearly always busy so the boards may not have you initial on it but you won’t have to wait too long and you can end up with a whole wardrobe. However it has to be said Sn@tch isn’t expensive and best of all as standard you get full colour packs as standard! and usually (not Riot Vend or LBs) they’re non copy and trans so you can be a generous friend and donate those colours you may not be keen on or even go halves with a friend and share the cost of an outfit.
