Halp! (Belle Epoque 15Ld Hunt).

I’ve cammed, scanned, loitered, lurked and I was even tempted to try out my crying AO and see if someone at Belle Epoque doing the hunt took pity on me but in the end, I decided to just throw the towel in and post a picture of the Belle Epoque Hunt Prizes.

Only 15Lds for each prize and I did see a lot of the cupcakes you’re looking for just not the ones I want.  I know that the clothes are for a Maitreya only and chances are that No.11 wouldn’t fit me but again for only 15Lds, I was willing to give it a try.  I’ve thrown in the towel now as I have not only wasted so much time trying to find the prizes I want but I was developing a headache.  This event has only just started so I/we will have plenty of time to pop in and treat ourselves.

Old Friends.(Dollarbies).

There are some shops in SL that I visit on a regular basis waiting for the newest Group Gift and !g0 is one of them and nope no new Group gift.

Then I had a brainwave because did you know that there is a discount and gift department? F*ck yeah I kid you not!

Lots and lots of Dollarbies and although they’re marked as Group Gifts they’re old ones so you don’t even need to be in the group just pay a Linden and they’re yours.

Just the top in this case…I swear SL is just like RL where I have my fav jeans.  I’m now wondering if I can get away with green jeans in RL as well.

Some of the clothes are older and come in the S,M,L etc sizes and some are newer and come in Mesh bod fits.

To find the discounted items and the Dollarbies you can either use the shop TP, it’s the stack of boxes near the LM or walk to the first door of the shop to your right and they’re upstairs.

Think about joining the !g0 group it’s one of the groups I have been in almost from the beginning. I LOVE the !g0 style I also love the regular Group Gifts and often a certain colour of a new release item has been set to half price for Group members and then, of course, we have CHRISTMAS! I know it’s way too early to be thinking of Christmas and Advent Calendars but when it comes to !g0 and their Calendar if you’re going to just do one this year make it !g0’s as the gifts are outstanding.  You do have to be in the group but it’s ONLY 50Lds! Still the same piddling price all these years later.

Check out the whole shop as there is everything from floaty hipster to costumes.  I have an amazing hat/hair from here which when I feel like wandering SL dressed up like a lady and not some cheap-ass blogger emblazoned with “demo” signs I put on a gown and this hat/hair and float around like Lady Muck or if I’m feeling it I pull on my Ballet shoes and the best Tutu which I bought from !g0 and pirouette my way through SL.

Goodbye my Fishie Friend. (Sale 25Lds).

It’s sad to see a shop that has been in SL for such a long time shut its doors for the last time but Fae Eriksen, the Boss Lady of Fishie Strawberry, for whatever reason has decided to do just that.  As a lovely goodbye gift, everything in her shop is priced at only 25Lds and did I go crazy?

Just a bit but so did Faith and I suspect Shi, who yet again dropped me this fab link.

I’m not showing much of what I bought because I’d recommend you still the demos before you buy as the sizes are a mixed bag.  I think the older items are in the basic mesh fit and the newer items are of course in mesh body and standard mesh fits etc so again try before you buy but old or new the quality is too good to resist.

PS. This is a bigger shop than you think, so once you’ve checked out the entrance room go past the customer desk and there is more in the back.  Plus I have blogged freebies from this shop before and there is no reason to assume they’re still not there.  You will find them on the wall were the front door it.

Heads Up.(25Ld Tue).

Just a quicky because it’s TUESDAY and you know what that means?  My fav weekly event of 25Ld Tuesday.

Because I know that Belle Epoque only keeps it’s 25Ld offer out for a very limited time go now and not later.  There is a demo available and I do believe this pretty dress is prob a Maitreya fit only I snapped it up,  yes there is breakout at the back but I can either live with it or as I have done in this picture I popped a hair on that goes down the back and covers up the minor breakthrough. but try before you buy.

OK, Nuff said because I want to check out the rest of the list and I’ve only managed to log inworld late and although a lot of the sellers do leave their special offers out till next tue some remove them from sale quickly and I don’t wanna miss any goodies I may find useful.

BTW although a lot of the shops involved with this event send out the full list of shops it doesn’t always happen so if you want to make sure you get the list then the group you need to join is “25Lds Tuesday Connection” and that way you can get the list from there.

Multipul Choice Question.(Freebie).

Whats in the box?

1. Kim Kardashians Bum.
2. A box of sugar-free, guilt-free chocolates that actually taste amazing.
3. A Maitreya top with a hud which is excellent and for me unwearable.

If you get it wrong you need to hang you Lelutka/Catwa/System head in shame.

I did try to take a picture of the top but with my SLink body, I couldn’t really get a good enough fit esp since I also wanted to get a close up of the texturing which is pretty darn good.  A nice amount of colours in the hud and although I couldn’t wear it again you may have the right mesh bod or an alpha that you can use.

A totally new shop to me called “Spectacledchic” and yes I did think I would find it full of glasses but nope, it’s a very small shop with an even smaller selection of clothing but very nice stuff.  This does seem to be slightly different in that you can only buy fat packs so the prices can appear to be a bit steep (I think they average 500Lds) but you do get a really interesting selection of textures and colours.  There is a pack of sheer blouses which I have to say is pretty darn tempting but because it’s 500Lds and for some reason it also looks like everything is gonna just be a Maitreya fit.  I can only hope that as the shop grows, which I’m sure it will, the owner will expand the mesh fits as well.

Although I had noticed the restricted fits I still decided to try my hand at the Gacha (75Lds) as lots of the styles look as though I could make them work and in fact the skirt I won is wearable it’s not the prize I had wanted to wear.

Don’t give in.(Super bargains so read the blurb).

Just as I was about the throw the towel in and give up looking for “that” ooo freebie/gift etc I put on an old pair of Ricielli shoes and YES!

Ricielli always has one of those paid for (non) hunts, so basically there is a big board and on it is what is in each hunt item and for a piddling 15Lds you can buy yourself shoes, dresses, tops, pants etc

The hunt which is going on in the main shop is actually still the Valentines one, TBH I was expecting it to have changed to a Halloween themes one but more about that later.   The TEMPTATION is so bad as there so much and I know from all the stuff I’ve got in the past its bloddy good stuff but honestly, I could just go Bat Sh*t crazy and buy the lot but this time I just bought the top LOL.  This top comes in 2 colours this dark greay and a pink one.  The shoes I am wearing but obviously, you can’t see are old “hunt” items and then there are these pants.

The one thing a lot of people may miss about the Ricielli shop is that there is a secret shop STUFFED with ALL of the old hunt items.  In fact, there are old Halloween items there as well.  Some of them are pretty old now but it’s hard to know which are old and which are the newer stock because the Ricielli stuff just doesn’t seem to age.  I picked up these leather pants from the old hunt section and for 15Lds and I thought they came in a limited 3 colour palette but in fact, you get a really good colour hud option with the ability to change the belt and hoops as well as the main body of the pants.

The top and pants come in so many mesh fits honestly you will have no problem finding the one for you or of course if you’re a non-mesh person then you will easily find an alpha to suit.  I also think when you click on the item before you buy it tells you whats in it so you can check for yourself.

PS. I couldn’t help it plus I think “Bridget” the hair I am wearing goes great with this outfit but Bridget is one of the Mina Gacha hairs that I adore.  It only costs 100Lds a try and although obviously, the colour palette you win is a risk you don’t just get 1 shade you get a whole colour palette of that shade.  Again you can try the Demo out first and if you like Bridget but don’t want to risk the colours then check out Faith and I don’t mean Faithless Babii lol.  Faith is another Mina with that curly, hippy chic look to it.

Seeing stars.(Freebies).

Still sim hopping, and old LM checking, and that’s how I ended up back at Precious Designs.

The title says “Freebies” because although I’m just showing you this one pair of shoes there are plenty more.  A few of the freebies I have shown you before but these with that star pattern don’t ring a bell.  You get a Hud with these shoes and the stars stay but there is a choice of 5 colours.

Sorry, these are SLink only but there is many other gifts and I’m sure that there is a mix n match of styles and fits and I’m sure you will find something.
