Easy like a Monday morning.

Went to a fail safe shop called RD Style and yet again it’s not failed me.  Since this is a special Easter offer I’d pop over as soon as you can and for 25Lds you can have this super cute little Summer outfit of mesh shorts and mesh top.  Gorgeous colour and texturing for such a small amount! Brill.  You will find this in the bag on the reception desk.  She, Renata Dragovar, has a couple of pretty 60Ld Kawaii dresses out but if you wander through the shop you will find the back room with all the seriously discounted items and group gifts.

Couldn’t resist re posting this picture of the previous shorts I’ve blogged from there as they’re so gorgeous I’ve still got them and still wear them as they too are such great texturing and quality but only cost me 2Lds.

I also loved this months Group Gift and for only a joining free of 50Lds you don’t just get that but all the old group  gifts which are in the room with the discounted items.

Grandma’s Basement. (Freebies).

Be afraid be very afraid of what you could find in Grandma’s basement. OK that’s a deliberately ugly skin not just a really bad freebie,  because I am trying to be as spooky HELL in this basement.

I TPed over to Domicile to check it out and actually bumped into the owner, Skell Dagger, who must have noticed me clicking away on the freebie board.  You do have to pay a Linden for each other items on the board but it’s refunded straight away.  This  “Grandma”s basement” is one of the free rooms.  It actually only has 3 walls but that means a blogger/photographer like me can cam and zoom more freely with a missing wall.  It’s also copy and mod which means I can have even more fun with it.  So in this picture am I weeping in a tiny room or has the room been shrunk to the size of a small box?  Check out the texturing which has remained perfectly in proportioned to the scale of the room which I found most impressive.  The candles on the wall are mine but it’s the unearthly glowing door way comes with the basement. With the first 2 pictures I’ve had fun with windlight and effects but since this is a photographers room it shows you what it can look like but this photo is taken in my standard Nams Optimal Skin and Prim setting.   A very handy low primmed cube with well done texturing, love how the ceiling is darkened.  Great for a prop room or a very simple home/room.  It reminds me of the first time I had a home on the land but kept a “secret room” in the sky away from prying eyes.

This very steam punk.Gothic/industrial room would make a great RP room or yet again a great background.

As always I walked outdoors and had a good wander around to see if I could find any goodies and I did.  Skell Dagger has a slummy shopping platform set up and most of the shops are fake but a couple of them aren’t and there is some bargain basement items although the shops, homes, warehouses he has in the main shop are hardly bank breaking in the first place, and some Lucky Boards.  Take a wander around to check out the old Italian Pizza shop or retro sweetie shop and make sure you LM this place for future posing potential.

Lost Ball (Freebies and big 50% sale).

Something is just about to jump down Faiths chimney and it’s got suprises.

Again another rush job but I had to get this posted because I have a busy RL day tomorrow and in all honestly I wanted to blog not only these 2 fantastic free Mesh AVs but also to SHOUT OUT that yet another 50% sale is going on at Cocos.

Unfortunately for me the Cocos doesn’t have much for men and I could be wrong since I’m not too sure of what the prices usually are  but I don’t think they’re reduced in this sale (I’m probably mistaken) but the women s stuff is slashed in price and I know 2 people (Zan and Faith) who will be TPing right over there as soon as they find out. So I’ll settle on these fun free, and you don’t even need to join her group to get them, AVs.

PS I’m looking pished in my reindeer outfit cos the sim ate my pose ball…..and it was non copy!

Hopping Mad!

I have a feeling that I look like someones nightmare in this picture so let me show you another.

When I was checking out Coco’s Group Gifts (and there is some new ones out there) I spotted this bunny AV which is free for all. Mesh and because it’s mesh there is so little attachments you need to wear so in a couple of clicks you could become Happy Bunny or Bunny of Doom (depending on Windlight Setting).

Well SL is still hating me at the moment, I will resist moaning too much but it was a surprise when I managed to stay in world to be able to grab some shots of these goodies.

Not only new shoes but new Donna Flora shoes.  Because I’ve not been able to keep upto date with how the big Donna Flora even that has has been going I decided to blog about these shoes which came from Donna Floras own shop and are a prim example of her craft.  A soft silver  satin sheen, very retro with an easy to use hud.  Can be worn without the bows as well.

The soft feminine look is hardened by those wicked spiked heels.

I even managed to have time to pop this tippet on.  A fur collar with strands of pearls draped down.  The one shown in the shop is worn over a jacket and looks great.  A handy accessory to tart up a favourite outfit.  This comes from Coco which I know for a fact has some excellent free to join Group Gifts (I have them) and I managed to meander around all the lovely new stuff and checked out the massive discount section before SL kicked me out again.  As soon as I can get back I’m picking up a delightful cropped jumper with a lace collar and  a good look at the new stock.

New Sn@tch (Group Gift)

Sn@tch again but then again Sn@tch is one of the best shops in SL.  A big shop packed with the best non mesh in SL.  Everything from the basics to the RPing outfit.  There isn’t many shops in SL which I will buy non mesh items from and Sn@tch is one of them due to their texturing and wearability (and price) being second to none. That of course doesn’t mean Sn@tch lags behind in the Mesh or Lola dept though there is Sn@tch for all tastes..Boom Boom.

This is their VIP freebie and it’s called Helena and not only do you get all the mesh sizes but 5 colours, Ice, Ivory,Mint, Rose and White. Now I’ve been a Sn@tch VIP for so long  I can’t remember how much it cost but one thing for sure I’ve received my moneys worth back in spades.  Too many “VIP” groups seem to take your money and you never seem to get anything but that is not the case with Sn@tch.   Murderdoll (ivey.deschanel) NEVER forgets her fans because not only do they put out shop quality gifts because  but because they regularly update their LBs, Riot Venders and the free to anyone gifts (usually placed on the table in the entrance).   If you have a free group space then join Sn@tch if you have some Lindens spare then become a VIP because the group is chatty (but not intrusively so), friendly, helpful and once that call goes out everyone comes running to lower the riot boards to as low as they go even if they don’t want the items themselves but just to help out others.  The hangout area where the boards are also had Seven Seas fishing and is nearly always busy so the boards may not have you initial on it but you won’t have to wait too long and you can end up with a whole wardrobe. However it has to be said Sn@tch isn’t expensive and best of all as standard you get full colour packs as standard! and usually (not Riot Vend or LBs) they’re non copy and trans so you can be a generous friend and donate those colours you may not be keen on or even go halves with a friend and share the cost of an outfit.

Easy Peasy OOPS Corrected the LM!!

Have to confess that I’ve had this furniture for quite a while and I’ve not had anywhere to put it until I picked up an excellent low prim and FREE skyhome.  As soon as I rezzed the Seorn Appartment  from The Designer Warehouse I knew I’d found the perfect setting for my EoD furniture.

This is unashamedly  men’s  furnishings from the beige retro look to the manly poses in the furniture but that to me doesn’t put me off.  I like its clean cut look and it’s retro style. Normally I like to pose next to furnishing to give some sort of size indicator but this furniture is definitely over sized and that is deliberate.  These pieces are big and bold but not the ugly badly lazy over sized stuff that you can pick up for a few lindens.

Hopefully you can see though that this desk is not over sized.  I have a slightly smaller than average AV and I don’t think I look dwarfed by the desk at all.    This is statement furniture dare I say Lazy Mans furniture because it took me 5 mins to rezz and arrange and I had a fully furnished stylish living room so even if you don’t think you have the time or the vision to make a place look great just get it from EoD.

Comparison shot. Normally I would never compare the quality of one item against another but since the shop where I got the piano on the left from has long gone from SL I feel ok to do it this time.  The left hand one was state of the art, expensive and top class but compare it to the modern-day version from E0D and guess which one got binned.

If you were lucky enough to get yourself the amazing Billiard/Snooker table then this the same great quality. Plus you don’t just get this you get a brown version as well and both come with lid up or lid down options.  The books, wine etc decorations are included but you can remove them if you want and I wish I had because you can get a great stet of candlesticks from EoD as well which would also look great. Menu inc 10 sitting, 3 activities, 14 couple and 12 adult poses.

Don’t panic because EoD is in the Four Walls Hunt and still has The Great Outdoor Hunt item out (your looking for a tree in a box and a tree stump) and I know since I have both items they’re worth the few lindens they cost.

A free home for all.  Picked this up at The Designer Warehouse for nowt, nothing, nada I also picked up some great stuff so even if your not after a new home still get yourself over there slap the Free Group Board and start collecting because they have a lot of free treats out for us. This home which as you can see has a large picture window also has 2 skylight windows and great texturing/lighting  and it’s only 4 PRIMS! I had to check that a couple of times because how low primmed is that! and totally mesh.  So pop over grab the freebies but make note of the great designer offers which are on and when PayDay comes you can go back and treat yourself yet again.

Big Fat OOPS because I gave out my home LM instead of The Designer Warehouse one.  Thats what happens when you post after struggling through a cold.  I hope those who TPed to my home didn’t panic.   I actually keep my home open for anyone to wander through so I wouldn’t have minded but then again I did post the wrong LM.  SO get yourself to the right one now and again make sure you join the group and grab those goodies.
