Weekend Sales – What I’ve bought so Far!

I’ve started my w/e sale shopping and found a couple of winners already in the $30L Saturday Sale. My dress is from Faida, comes in three colour choices and I went for a neutral beige – there were two further shades in blue and pink – don’t know how I didn’t but the pink ! I also popped to Moon Sha and got the wearable snowball hand cart, you also get a décor version which is 3Li – you get a dark and a light version for $30L. Couldn’t resist also buying the long seasonal grass pack from here too. My hair & scarf is from Opale – its in the 99 Sale – LOVE it ❤ Different shades of hair available , I think the scarf stays the same tone.

My favourite hair designer is having a 15th birthday SALE! Just join the group (its free) pay the vendor and you will be refunded 40% of the price !! The only sad thing? I already own them alllllll ! Magika hair is just awesome, realistic hairs around the forehead, fantastic textures and bang up to date styles – you really cant beat it ❤

LOVE costs 50Lds. (Mention of Bargain Mina Hair).

As usualy my visit to the LOVE landscaping shop has cost me Lindens but at only 50Lds each item I ain’t complaining.

I went for the super cute Wanderlust discounted item and as nice as they are, little fairies, I changed my mind and bought this gorgeous arch instead.

Lovely delicate leaves with those small bright lights and only 3 or 4 prims. I bought the smaller version but if you do want a larger version there is one for sale for only 50Lds.

Now check out the grasses under it. Another 50Lds for a fat pack of 20 different types and 1 “Summer Breeze Fluff” which are small pale seed heads(?) gently floating by.

Can’t wait till I log in and check out the rest of them and it will be time to start tweaking my landscaping to take advantage of these new grasses.

I also bought the seasonal tree fatpack which I’ve not rezzed yet and you can see that as well as the things I have shown you as there are full examples rezzed at the LOVE LM.

So I’m going to have to assume I’ve deleted it. I went to Mina’s to see if she too was having a sale and SHE IS!

A 50% storewide sale, you pay full price and get the 50% refunded back to you. This big sale goes on till Monday which is good as the place is heaving so you will have plenty of time to try those demo’s out and treat yourself to some really fine hair.

But I’d rush for this FLF offer.

This is “Leslie” and she’s is my pearly princess hair.

A piled on top classy hair with the addition of those pearls just makes this the perfect dressy up hair.

You do get a style hud with this hair and if you want you can lower the piled up look and remove the pearls or make the pearls more irridecent etc

I had to scrap the pictures I took last night as this FLF offer from Mina suits this 25Ld Gacha prize perfectly.

I don’t think Mina has ever had an FLF offer out, that’s “Fifty Linden Friday” if you’re new to SL or if she has it was so long ago I’d forgotten.

“Luane” is obviously very “Hippy Chic” and of course you get a hud to change the hairband colour. This is my copy but I can see from the picture used that as usual with Mina each purchase gets you a fat pack of colours, ie 30 blondes or 30 browns or 30 pastels etc and the full 12 texture hud for the hairband.  I’ll put the link to the Seraphim blog so you can check it out as well as the full FLF list.

Plus, just another reminder as a lot of us do have budgets to live to and that’s to check out the Gacha’s in Mina’s shop. I believe all but one of them are only 75Lds, obviously, you can price check and also try the demos out but again some of my fav hairs are in those Gachas.

Which brings me to the dress as it too is a Gacha prize.

I picked it up from “Sweet Lies”.  All of the Gacha’s in the shop are just 25Lds which is horrible as at that price and some super prizes it was really hard to just pick one.  I picked this outfit purely because the prizes were all this dress just in different colours.  You will also find that the non Gacha outfits are also super bargains as I know the ones I price checked were just 69Lds.

As for the “Freebie(s)”.  There is a …Group Gift of an oversized crown and I really did want it but even wearing the Group Tag it wouldn’t work.  It might just have been a glitch so I will give it another try when I return to LM grab.  To make up for that I’m showing you these very pink shoes which come from the “Add Design” shop.

BTW out of curiosity I checked the “Sweet Lies” Marketplace shop and you can see that they used to see very RP and Gor themed outfits which is quite different from their new Kawaii, girlie, soft designs they have now.

Aphrodite are in this round of the Swank event, they have this gorgeous beach hideout “happy place” in both PG & Adult versions. ($199L & $299L) Its got loads of poses, mostly for couples but I also found some for singlepringles (and their dog of course). Sweet piles of pillows to lounge on, if you touch the ladder you also get a menu for various décor items that appear, such as curtain light, ivy, lantern etc – adorable touch!

My French bulldog got very interested in my bowl of cookies – yes yes there is FOOD in the menu too ! O.o must mention my new hair-do its by TUKINOWAGUMA and is called Alette, there are two styles to choose from both just $175L, the HUD for colour change is massive – great value. Seemed to be some great items on offer in this round of Cosmopolitan.

A week or so ago Aphrodite also released various trays of drinki-poo’s and nibbles – this is the Lemoncello version complete with delicious looking truffles – just touch and you’re offered a drink or chocolate – yummmm. For the curious amongst you – Limoncello is one of my all time favourite drinks – infact Player got me drunk as a skunk on it a few months ago! Its lemony and refreshing , I have mine with ice or a mixer which Player says is a dreadful thing to do but oh well, Im English.

FYI: Limoncello (pronounced lee-mon-CHAY-low) is an Italian lemon liqueur known for its refreshing sweet and tangy flavor. It is made from lemon rinds, alcohol, sugar and patience.

Limoncello has its roots in Southern Italy, primarily along Italy’s Amalfi Coast and Sorrentine Peninsula, known for their meticulous lemon cultivation. Locales of production include the Sorrentine Peninulsa and the Amalfi coast and the Gulf of Naples and in Procida, Ischia and Capri. It is also produced in Sicily and Sardinia.

Although traditionally served as a digestive, or after-dinner drink that aids in digestion, limoncello can be enjoyed at other times of the day, particularly in a cocktail. You can also enjoy it in a varity of foods as well. Limoncello can be a wonderful ingredient in cooking    and baking.
