I blogged this super new dress “Dre” from Neve the other day, it’s currently out at the Uber event. I showed you the more casual version, same dress now but the dressier style with sparkly bits! Found this dead cute pair of heels for just $1L on the Market Place – Slink only – by Ferina. Love the tassel detail at the front. The hallway I’m standing in is also a great find ! It’s by Arduenn Schwartzman, he has a whole heap of goodies from $0 – $10L in his MP store and also inworld. The skybox is full perm, great as a prop or a skybox to fool around in , it’s also full perm so if you wanna fiddle with it you can yay!

Close up call for the shooooz ! Gorgeous huh? Get grabbing ! My hair is a brilliant FREEBIE from Olive, one of my fav hair creators. Olive has an end of summer sale on at the moment, $138L per hair – do!! However, as I almost own every.single.style already – I looked at the Lucky boards et voila the F came up and I won this – dead chuffed. Eight boards in total so you’re bound to get lucky.

I’ve had a lovely Sunday, hope you have too ! Sat by a big roaring fire in my lounge, done some knitting and played in SL – wonderful. I wanted to share with you a little of the new releases from Neve. If you’ve got an itch to spend a little, go take a peek . It’s not just top-notch gear its flexible – so you can maximise you wardrobe by spending not a lotta cash – nice huh?. Anyhoo I’m wearing the brand spankin new “bitten” pants from the “cotton” pack. You get four colours for the price of one, and the options to turn the belt loops & zippers on or off. Also its simple to get a great fit as there is a boot helper on the HUD also. The top is called “halftime”  I’ve chosen the one form the”eyelet linear” pack. Wowser its delicious! Sooo feminine and pretty, it’s a sheer tank and tube combo. Choose the tube length (short or long), you’re always going to get the perfect fit as not only do Neve clothes support the traditional avatar they also fit the following mesh bods: Maitreya Lara, Slink Physique & Hourglass, Belleza Isis & Freya. Bag is by Mutresse, I’ve owned this for a while and keep on using it – gotta be a winner. Called “Mona”, you get a HUD with eighteen colours and the ability to customise it to d.e.a.t.h – at $229L it’s really worth considering.

Too late to give you the event for this adorable couch by CIRCA, but it’ll be at the main store by now Id imagine. This bench is part of the “Bloom” range, matching rugs & wreaths available too. I love a piece that I can fiddle with, and this has the fiddlefactor in spades! Stuffed with great poses (26 animations in total) and you can choose between five colour ways , plus eight base colours. Only 7Li, so not hard to find a spot for.

I’ve been enjoying a little bit of “dress up” this morning, fiddling about with the new Neve coats. I got a bit stuck on blue and pinks lately so I thought Id try the plaid coat & dress on in this scrumptious sage green. I’m not a big wearer of green but this really floats my boat! The great thing with these coats is you get a complete look plusss heaps of options. The dress can be removed completely and there are six texture options for it too, four colours of the coat included also ! Ohhhhh almost forgot the buttons come with six colours – that’s a whole lotta fiddly for your dosh. The coat costs $350L, now let me do the maths *thinks*…that’s $87.5L per colour – wow. I’m also sporting a pair of KC shooz, brilliant value for money at $125L with a HUD that gives forty colour options for the heel, main body,sole and detail section, you can also loose the back of the heel for a daintier feel to the overall look.

Skating about – Christmas Expo

More news from the Second Life Christmas Expo – have you been yet?! If you haven’t you’re really missing a lot of FUN. Anywayyyy couple of items I wanted to share with you today, adorable hippo’s, yes yes festive hippo’s is a “thing”, sooper cute (and low prim) remember though – a hippo is for life, not just for Christmas ! Ollies Follies have got these adorable little beats for sale at the expo, some to hold, some to use as décor and some that fly right around your head. My sweater is from Tiffany’s, its called “Corina” and is a super big and baggy style thats perfect for the season. Leggings are from Neve, previously blogged but still welded to my legs cause they rock. You can just see Iam stood on an ice rink yes? Wellll Love Everlasting Plant Pets have this fantastical ice rink up for grabs. All sorts of coloured skates available with a unisex skate animation built right in.

Heres the aerial view, its an enormous set that will really complete your winter landscape. I love that it isn’t hard linked – meaning you can have as much or as little as you like on display. Its really a photographers dream set, so many spots to take photos and the bench is stuffed with lovely poses for single pringles and couples. You also get an “extras” pack with more of the same to splash about – brilliant!

One of my fav things in winter are the chestnut sellers we get popping up in town – I adore those tasty treats, and here they are in the skating rink! Sweet details all around this set, so keep an eye out to spot them.

I love love love Saturdays ! Did you join up for the 30L Saturday group yet? If you haven’t you’re missing SO many things to buy. I slipped my new coldLogic “dodge” frock on and had a little jaunt around to see what treats were on offer. Dodge is a sweet wee thing, a sheer layer over a simple chic dress and thin straps over your shoulders. At the rear is a lush looking bow that comes from the wide satin sash around your waist, it really completes the look. Available in an array of spring time colours instore or on the market place.

One of my permanent stops for 30L Saturday is always Kei Spot, usually you will find two items placed out for the offer – clothing and something homely. I snapped up the breakfast gossip table – as it’s an amazing deal for 30L. I really like the antler and wood design of the legs and stools, plus its chock-a-block full of adorable poses & props. I seem to recall the whole table and decor came in at around 16 prims, so ti wont snaffle up your budget. Just perfect

I’m still rummaging through the latest releases from coldLogic and I found this, its such a scene stealer and so feminine. Do I detect the light touch of Janie Marlowes hand in its design – I reckon so ! Its elegant but adorable at the same time. Classic cut, it wont ever go out of fashion. This is a timeless piece, if it were a real life buy, it would be an investment garment. Id SO buy it ! Its called Koby and comes in some sugary pale colour tones. This is the blue, so you can see its the merest wash of colour. (Do you have any idea how much its killing me not to show the PINK one!)  A little nod to the military styles that was so prevalent last season with its rows of buttons down the front. You get a lot of options with this, a shirt and skirt insert to wear with it if you wish, or just the coat on its own. I’m wearing both inserts so it’s a complete look without worrying what to wear underneath – yes, I’m lazy.

Look at the rear, the detailing is carried round with two straps to pull it a little tighter, but not overly – this coat isn’t about a cinched waist. Finished off with perfect fitting arms and epaulettes, and a sweet pleated vent . Something about it reminds me of my childhood, you know – that “coat for best” that your mother bought you? You can buy these in single colours or a fantastical quantum pack of all four tones. Thanks coldLogic team ❤

Ice cream & beach weather

 

One day  till my holiday ! Allegedly its going to be hot hot hot, so I’m planning on lots of ice creams and beach wandering. I wish I had enough room in my suitcase for some of coldLogic’s new releases, so summery, so sweet and all so blissfully cool to wear. This is “gann” and comes in 4 colour options. Cool and composed, with some sweet raised fabric detailing over the material. It’s very easy to wear  and although I’ve opted for the neutral colour, some of the others are verrrrry juicetastic!

 

On to “channing”, a rather sophisticated little number – halter neck with fine stitching emphasising the vee shape at the top of the bodice. Bold fat stripes against a plain background, very chic. Four colour options and I cant quite believe I didn’t show you the pink one ! Black and white is refreshing, and can also give an outfit a totally different appeal. I got the bangles from one of the many events that are cropping up, by Indyra – worth a look at their mainstore to see if they are on sale there also.

I love love LOVE this dress ! Its called “mewes” and I reckon it’s a total scene stealer for summer. Bands of three colours that sort of bleed into one another ever so gently – no harsh lines, just softness. Four tones in this and ALL of them are gorgeous. I adored this one “neapolitan” – all my fav shades in one dress ! Big shout out for my flat sandals from fabuluex – they are a recent release and are SO affordabubble ! I swear if you go to the store you just wont be able to resist the gacha machines – you have been warned !

One thing I do suggest you do with all your coldLogic purchases, is check out the back view! Those naughty designers are fond of hiding treats and surprises there *nodnodnod* , and they alwaysss catch me out ! I’m usually trotting about some place, then BOOM..I catch a glimpse of my rear view and voilà – cheeky details stashed away. See what I mean?!

Last up for today (and from me for the coming week as I’m on vacation yay!) is “valeri” – four colours again or of course in all cases you could strike out and grab a quantum pack. (such good value). This dress is quite demure and very me me me. Sweet floral pattern al over and spaghetti straps , it’s a bit chintz and I like that.
