OKINAWA CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL!

The Okinawa Christmas Festival is a must! Not only is it a real treat to wander around as its so beautifully decorated – there are tons of great items to buy. Also quite a few gifts! Not only from the designers but also from the Okinawa team – hint – check out the delivery truck at one end of the event – goodies for you to munch! Anyyyway first up the item I bought is this cute stand of cupcakes – isn’t it divine? It dispenses cupcakes naturally but oh ! Not for only human avatars! Dinkies, Hamster, CHIBIT, Animal fairy & chipmunk ! I love Frangipani Garden, always have, so this was a real winner for me – just 1Li also. There’s a lot of items in the box such as wearables.

As you shop look out for the little Santa cut outs, some tell you of discounts and some have free gifts. Above is the gift from Les Sucreries de Fairy – you get two colour versions, this red and another silver and ice blue. The garland is a separate item so you can wear it without if you wish. My peppermint drink is the gift from Schadenfreude, wearable and décor – 1 Li.

I became a “Baby Banana” thats the cute name you get when you join the free group belonging to Banana Mellow (great name) and her shop BananaN. A shop with bright, bold and quirky home decor items. Her style is rustic but not the rough hewn Gor type of rustic more lovely woods, retro fabrics, cottage etc.  Fireside chairs with bright or pastel patterned  fabrics, some most unusual lamps so very pretty, even the coffin coffee tables get a splash of cuteness with their lovely pastel colour, cushion and bunting.  Unashamedly  a very girl shop but I don’t care.  Some quite unique stuff at a decent price and a decent prim count.

As for the group gifts you get a whole load of these lovely crafty boxes in so many style’s, single ones, pair’s, 3 in a row, 3 piled up and all are copyable and resizeable and each are only a single prim!  Then if you peer under the piles you can see a  lovely bench and you get 3 of these in different colours. there is also some weird mushroom pouffes as well to be had and a bracelet.  The only thing is that the Group Invite Board is Borked. So I’m going to drop Banana a note but it’s not a big problem because I’ll try to put the link here to join but since I’ve never tried it before if that doesn’t work then you can either check out Banana’s Profile and she has her group listed there or just type it in search.

Super Kawaii Hunt

We all know the big hunts going on but there are many smaller ones with some seriously lovely yummies on offer.  This is the Censor Kawaii Hunt and each item, you’re looking for a cupcake, costs you only 20Lds which is so cheap but if your very low on funds this hunt offers you a picture of what exactly is on offer so you can pick and chose.  And I chose this pink dress.  It’s mesh, it’s cute and it’s pink and what more can be said.

Looks like the picture has been cut in half but that’s just one of the strings from a balloon in my lovely balloon room.  This is 2 hunt items, first the mesh shorts.  A mix of denim and floral fabric makes this more than your standard pair of mesh shorts.  You get 2 floral pattern choices and both are sweet.  The Lola Tango top is a separate hunt prize and again only 20Lds for each item.

Sadly not hunt items but I couldn’t resist because how cute is this little underwear set (170Lds) and then there is the hair (150)which comes with the hair dryer and poses sooo cute sooo cute Faith had to run off and buy the hair. Now look at the skin because this is a Group Gift from Censor so join the group and grab a skin so you could get yourself a new skin, shoes, and outfit from as little as 40Lds.  As soon as I go back to get the LM I will be trying on their skin demos because they’re not sticking to the standard, from what I saw they have skin with cute red noses, gawky teeth, smiles and pink cheeks skin that has just that little touch of individuality.

Kittens and Cupcakes

We all know of those pictures and paintings where the eyes freakishly seem to follow you but wait till you see this little Kitteh because as cute as he looks not only does his bright yellow eyes follow you but his whole head does!!! Yet as freakish as this is you will fall in love with him because not only is he small and adorable he’s only 2 prim (30Lds and copyable) and guess what those amazingly detailed cupcakes come to prim wise? Yup only a single prim for each cake.  Even though they have so much detail from the paper cases to the cherry on the top it still adds up to a single prim a cupcake.  You get a choice of 4 cakes, copyable,  for 75Lds and the icing on the top is click on a cake and you get one to eat with a pretty good AO. Even the glass cake stand is only 2 prims in total and again 75Lds and copyable.

Special mention to Kowloon.  This is an amazing sim. Cramped alleys with small shops and market stalls, places to sit and eat, the sounds and if only SL allowed it the smell of old bygone times.  Go look explore.  A whole sim to wander through the alleys and marketsm massive amount of free or really reasonable weird and wonderful stuff and remember that places like this still exsist in SL Land.

Covering The Bases

Zan has been on fire as of late and she’s come back to us yet again. This time with a little bit of everything for every taste. Enjoy.

I didn’t think there was a sale on at Cupcakes at the moment but now I’m not sure because at these prices there seems to be too many bargains for it not to be a sale. Outside of the store they have two large stalls set up with reduced price gift bags stuffed with skins,eyes, clothes etc all mixed so check before you buy but all seems to be L$50. Good looking skins as well. Inside, however, everything seems to be priced at a shocking L$20! I decided on this simple Bandeau Heart Bikini and the brown and red jackets (see picture below) because I have so many dresses it’s embarrassing. A lot of quality for not a lot of lindens. Take a look inside, especially the lovely dresses at the back.

I was on a roll when I visited *Suzy*, as I managed to find all 3 hunt items!  Your looking for a shark, waffle and a strawberry. The Seasons Hunt shark is easy peasy to find and as a hint for the others, all I will say is that there is an upstairs to this shop.  A small shop with a mix of clothes and furniture but I highly recommend you check out both!  Their dresses are very prim and proper.

As for the prize I’m showing: it’s the rather naughty black jeans you see above.  The description is “loosely” unzipped.  Teamed with some colourful undies helps to hide my blushes.  You also get prim cuffs for these jeans as well. The other prizes are nice flattie shoes.

I yelled with happiness when I found this hunt item from The Seasons Hunt as it certainly looked good on the poster and it  didn’t disappoint once I’d gotten it on. This lovely dress is patterned with leaves in shades of brown, orange, yellow and a light blue. The top half comes in all layers and a poofy prims skirt finished with a neat white belt. Skirt does come with a resizer although I didn’t have to edit it for it to fit nicely. And as a nice finishing touch you can then delete the script once you have edited the skirt to your liking. Always a handy feature. Four hunts are going on in this store at the moment so there is plenty to tempt you there.

SALE…SALE…SALE

Ohhhhhh a sale in one of my fav stores ! Argyle Anonymous has mooooved to a new fahbulous store..its pretty funky…and for a few days everything (cept the ties) is 25L *faint*…I snapped up a pair of the yummmy bloomers and a cuppy cake tee..

Doesnt that cupcake look tasty? gawd just how cute is that huh !!??

I adore how Swan makes her bloomers..currently holding the world record for being the only ones I’ve ever found that fit me without massive amounts of prim fiddling..wear-em-n-go gotta love it…all outfits & items shown just 25L.theres tee’s,jeans,skirts,shirts,shoes and more more more….what you doing here still gawping..go grab yourself some pretties before the sale ends !
