Dogs and Parks

This is the offering from Cleo Design for this round of The Challenge. When I saw it I thought Cleom (the owner of Cleo Design) had been to my dog walking park, cause these are almost identical to the ones I sit in after I’ve huffed and puffed my way round jogging with my dog ! Really lovely poses and you can also change the texture of the shade via the menu. Singles & couples poses btw. On the side is a nicely detailed park map for added realism !

My outfit is by Citrus and this is their items for the upcoming “Thrift shop” event, it opens on the 6th – so no sneaky teleporting until then! As you know I’m big into all shades of brown at the moment and I only opened this colour because of the name, I thought it WAS brown ! However, it snapped me out of my obsession and I totally adore this soft blue denim tone. The jeans and jacket are sold separately, not sure on price as it isn’t mentioned in the note but as it’s The Thrift Shop its bound to be a right good deal. The shade I’m showing is “creek” but there are several other colours to snap up. Little hint of Boho in this ensemble huh?! (Btw you can also wear the jacket on its ow without the top)

Something for the Weekend (free gifts)

I was checking out a new and upcoming event (news later) and spotted a gift from Cleo Designs whilst I was in the area. Naturally I thought Id share it with you. The bench, radio and hotdogs are all free of charge from the lovely Cleom Bailey, two poses in the bench, one that gives you an umbrella, and the other you’re laying supping a glass of pop. The whole set up is low prim so brilliant for your home or garden. My hat & hair combo is another free gift, from Ronsem. The group is free to join and once you’re in you can lay claim to a whole pile of treats, including the hair. It does come with a HUD so you get options on hat & ear colour, isn’t it cute?!

I had a lovely New Year Gift from Cleo Designs the other day, a truly splendid set for your home. The package has two stylish vintage chairs that are full of poses for males and females. I love the delicate antique blue colour of them and they fit into my new home perfectly. There is also a dresser/sideboard, the drawers open and close which is a lovely touch. Plusssss a cheeseboard and a cake stand full of little treats !

The tree with candles is also in the box, I think its meant to be free-standing but I kinda liked it up on the wall. Heres a closer look at the chair just because I adore it. Ohhh btw all the items are transferable – so if you’d like to give some of the items, or all of the items to a friend its possible. Santa’s Helper – its got my name on it

When I saw this outfit by American Beagle Outfitters – I knew I had to wear it . On our home sim called Dreamworks I have been acting as Santa’s elf for a week or so now. Santa has a mail box for people to drop a letter into , telling him their Christmas wishes! He really does reply to ALL letters and sometimes he sends a gift or three ! If you havent come to see Santa yet, here’s the landmark – just follow the board walk , through the frosty tunnel and out onto the ice, Santa is waiting for you ! Anyhoooo back to my outfit, its in a gacha machine at the latest round of The Promenade, there’s squillions of colours to win and its so affordabubble. Scattered around the event are gifts for you to snap up too – get your skates on. Thanks Barb ❤ While I’ve got time – a short note about the new round of The Challenge. Sorry to be so brief but I’m running out of time before I go on my winter vacation *squeeee*, there is always SO much to share in the run up to Christmas I get giddy. This rounds theme is fairy tale – how utterly lovely! The daybed above is by Cleo Design, beautiful poses as always. Its got multi layers of mattress so its like that tale of the Princess and the pea. All the decor pieces are from %Percent, there’s a shed load more, all in various colours – btw the “once upon a time” wall art isn’t fixed to the daybed – I just placed it there ! Ohhh btw the sweet gift boxes Ive got in the photo are free gifts from %Percent – these can be found at the mainstore location.

Its Advent Calendar time !

Its time to start to remember that each day you can receive a lovely gift from all the Advent calendars that pop up around SL. One of my favourites last year was at Cleo Design. There were gorgeous pieces , novelties etc. You just have to go to the store and touch the right door for that date. You cant go backwards, so don’t miss a day ! The Challenge goes Shopping

 

The Challenge is on ! This months theme is “Shopping” and I have a few of the items that are on offer to share with you. Above is a really neat little store prefab by Black Tulip. It’s so beautifully built and a great size if you’re just starting out with an inworld store. I seem to recall its 9 prims , it has two front bay windows for displays or décor and a lovely spacious interior. At the front entrance you might just make out the security system, this is by 22769 bauwerk, just an added dash of realism for 1Li each – perfect !

Cleo Designs is also in this months round and has this gorgeous love seat styled arrangement on offer. Each seat has different poses, some for guys some for girls, what a brilliant little piece to place in a store for a refreshing cup of tea and a foot rest. Various colours to choose from.

My favourite item in this months round is also by Cleo Designs, it’s a changing room. Seriously I love to see these when I go shopping inworld. It all adds to the experience, and if a store owner provides them I use them. This little beauty has some lovely features, such as texture change curtain that actually pulls across. Poses in the mirror for males & females – it’s these lovely little details that always win my heart.

Must mention the range of interior shop décor that [hate this] has made. Absolutely fantastic , quite a few finishes to choose from so there should be something that will compliment your build. Wood, stone, plastic etc. Lots of sizes and variations from floor displays to hanging. Thank to  everyone at The Challenge ❤

Home & Garden Expo part deux

It wouldn’t be the Home & Garden Expo if I didn’t get to share something from Cleo Design would it?! The lovely Cleom Bailey sent me some of her items over and I adore this brand spanking new bench. It’s just so pretty and cozy, perfect for Autumn. It has single and couple poses included plus a working little cubby hole underneath. Ohmai gosh….

…the fabric on the pillows are gorgeous! Cleom always seems to have textures in her work that make me want to stroke them, I usually spend an age just eye-balling them.  The fireplace is also by Cleo Design, a good solid classic piece that will keep you cozy right through to winter . On the mantle is a lovely item from Shabby Tabby called “Autumn mantel decor, its only 4Li and is sooper pretty, it really looked at home up there. Actually I’ve got a few more items from Shabby Tabby to show you later – patience !
