Ive never seen Scarlet Creative make something quite like this! This item is only available in the new round of Luxe Box and trust me, its worth more than the months fee. Fantastically thought out summer build, one floor but with a HUGE roof terrace to party , sunbath and chill out on. There is an infinity pool on one side and a bare gazebo on the lower terrace area for a shady spot.

This space is rich in summer time textures, that actually Id love to live in all year round. Gorgeous tiles, cool woods and lots and lots of airy windows and doors.

I couldn’t stop staring at the tile work, it’s just …almost….edible?! All info below on how to get your box.

This and that

Its Saturrrrday! Or should I sat Caturday – as my kitty cat decided I had enough sleep and to wake me up at 4am . Anywhoooo I have some glorious stuff to share and who can sleep when Scarlet Creative is in the newest Luxe Box?! This is ” Alaouite Skybox”  – funny thing is, for absolutely years I’ve searched for a build like this – and wow , voila! It’s a bit Grecian, a tad roman but a whole lotta beautiful going on. It’s in this months Luxe Box – which in my opinion makes the $1500 price tag for the box well worth it all on its own.

You could use this as a retreat in the sky, a role play area, a space / back drop for photos, endless possibilities really. Rooms are spaced around an open to the sky courtyard and pool. The pool has poses built right in for singles and couples (really lovely ones to boot).

If you walk around the rooms, you will find so many beautiful details and textures have been used – honestly its crazy delicious. My mouth was watering when I spotted the different types of plaster and tiles…y.e.s textures turn me on – weird hah!

There are tiled floors, mosaic walls and different styles to make each little space unique. Its crazy beautiful and yet very peaceful and relaxing at the same time – doesn’t make sense I know – but it is. Left hand pattern is from the dining chairs btw – isn’t it gorgy?

Aphrodite have produced a vintage style dining extravaganza for the summer, its in the new round of Tres Chic – perfectly suited for a wedding or party. Cut crystal glasses, silver serving dishes and a plethora of meals, starters etc for you to dine upon. Its pretty flexible also, as you can set up for as many or as few as you wish, remove decor items to save prims.  I just thought it looked so attractive on the open courtyard of the skybox – but I can also see this set being used as a centre piece for a wedding – whacha think?

Tomorrow is the day ! The latest round of The Arcade opens on the 1st June, so gird your loins, warm up those teleport fingers (or lazy boy hud) and join the veritable stampede of people all wanting to feed those gacha machines. Scarlet Creative has yet again come up with the goods – I’m always surprised that Charlotte’s gacha machine is just $50L a pop, everything is quality, pretty and you get a real scoop with every win. The rare for this round is the Nerites house and gawd its lovely. A fairy tale build, tall spires from the roof, a slight flavour of the East with the design. Yet every nook and cranny screams shabby chic with a dash of Victorian! This is a one floor build with aspirations to a second floor with the use of heaps of huge windows, tons of glass and a unique layout.

I hope you can see how quirky the layout is from my photos, it’s always so hard to show it off. As you walk around the house wraps itself around you like a comfortable friend, you almost know it but then find a little corner hidden away to delight you with thoughts of what to place there.

I’m never entirely sure with Charlottes builds, which is the front and which s the back – which is actually pretty cool, no defined way to use the space – it just works. You can see here the fantastic glazed area along one side – shouts out for plants and pots no?

I do love the textures used, I know I bang on about them but they are the fabric of the build. Charlotte’s uses such soft tones and peeling plaster, you feel as if you can reach out and rub a cheek against it, or smell the faded wood – each one to me is like a banquet for the senses.

Because I’m short on time but long on thoughts – you will have to make do with the advertising shot for the other gacha wins. Take my word for it though (and I’ve tested and fiddled about with EVERY piece) they are just gorgeous. I think I noted a couple of new poses in the sofa and bed which was a pleasure to find. Mockingbird

 

Happy as  the proverbial pig in muck – Scarlet Creative have got this A.mazing little home up for grabs at the latest round of collabor88. Its called “Mockingbird Nook” and is just 39Li. Perfect for a little hideaway amongst the trees or perhaps in a wood. It gives a sense of space inside with the clever use of textures, but it is infact just one room . Plenty of square footage though to make it ever so snuggly and peaceful. I adore the bay window, it’s so pretty. With the addition of the side porch, you even have  a little place to sit and admire the view, or do some pottering with plants. Demo is up at that event so you can go take a peek. Greenlily

If you’ve been pondering getting a new home for the new season – look no further. Scarlet Creative have Greenlily cottage out at collabor88 and its pretty fantastical! For just $188L it’s all yours, well worth it. Take a peek at the event and you’ll see why I fell in love with this authentic little home. Actually its spacious although it’s deceptively small looking for outside. Meandering corridors with surprises built-in – feature galore.

As is now usual with Charlotte’s builds there are lots of fabulous textures used. This is the first for a longggg time that I’ve seen her utilise wallpaper, its faded, its shabby and it really adds a warmth to the space. At the rear fo the build is a beautiful and useful glazed conservatory area. I can totally see myself living in this grand old cottage. Thanks Charlotte ❤

Its all in the details

New round of collabor88 is open yippeee! Its one of my favourite events and I’m always chomping at the bit to get in, but never can for a few days. I’ve got this to show you from Scarlet Creative though, and it’s just glorious. This is the Laurel Dovecote house, fits a 1024 plot, is 140Li, there’s a demo above the vent so you can take a look around. Lots of peeling plaster on the walls and warm sanded floorboards inside.

 

The bedroom is a galleried affair and would easily fit a bedroom set . I totally adore the details on the windows, especially the exterior view. Of course as the name says, its cot a dovecote above which is such a pretty feature. Go seeee!

The Arcade – in yet?

Well I haven’t yet been able to make time for the Arcade tp fest – you know how it is, fifty teleport tries – might get lucky ! However I have hit the yard sales fairly extensively and gathered up a few of the pieces on my want list. I can share with you today the rare win from Scarlet Creative yay! This is the Anastasia house and it’s just amazingly gorgeous.  From the outside, yes – pretty – but go inside and you will be blown away! Features galore, rooms aplenty and just when you think you’ve seen it all – BOOM, attic rooms up a flight of stairs! Outfront you can see the gazebo which is another of the wins but there’s plenty more to keep you playing – gilt couch, bed, high back chair, fireplace, cabinets etc, all made with Charlotte Bailey’s eye for quality and charm. Give it a whirl – when you can get in !
