SorryX3 but great FREEBIES!

Again sorry about my lack of posting but RL won’t calm the eff down and now it’s HALLOWEEN!!!  Although I’m a Brit we have started to embrace the spooky side even though it’s just an excuse to eat loads of pumpkin based goodies.  So I have my Pumpkins carved, a basket of treats so my house doesn’t get egged, a pile of horror films to watch  a good Take Away on speed dial and some good friends over to spend a lovely wicked evening.  I hope that whatever you chose to do you have fun doing it even if it’s just you or with a whole group of friends or family make sure to treat yourself.

Sooo I did managed to get inworld for literally half an hour and at my first LM I scored so well I grabbed the Free GGs and TPed straight to my platform rezzed a house and rezzed the goodies.

Some of you with sharp eyes will notice that the sofa/chairs and baskets are in fact items I’ve blogged previously but damn they’re sooo 100% quality and so low primmed I don’t care but first the NEW GG’s.

3 shades of bench/chair/loungers and more because you not only get the 3 colour options but also PG or Adult version.   I did do a few of the PG poses and they’re were as good as I had hoped….nope I’ve not tried out the Adult ones lol.

I deliberately took these pictures in my Nams setting to show off that amazing texturing.  You can even see every stitch in the knitted throw.

PS Honestly! I was in such a rush that I didn’t grab all the GG’s out and when I was LM grabbing I noticed that there is even more new stuff, a hot chocolate mug, blanket with pillows etc so make sure to grab em all and then have a good look around.  I’ve been tempted by a few items in this amazing shop and when I get back inworld it’s the first place I’m going back to.

Take a seat (Freebies n stuff).

Now that I packed up all of my Christmas stuff I decided it was time to really sort out my house and in doing so I came across a chair I forgot I had.

The chair comes from [[RH]] Design House and is called Cafe Chair.  It cost me only 80Lds and I chose the pink but there are many other colour options available.  Some really good poses in it which is why I bought it and as it happens it  turns out to be perfect for this dressing table from Hideki which sorry was a Gacha win, however since I buy most of my Gacha items from Yardsales so if you scout around you may find it but if you want to risk it then the Gacha and others are in Hideki’s main shop.  Everything on the dressing table is just my junk.

Since my last visit this little shopping mall in the sky has had a revamp and this is whats just outside of the shop.  A small street of little shops so freaking cute.  So of course I took a wander down and I found some freeness, Gachas and Yardsales but don’t bother with the Yardsales cos I bought them ALL!! actually no I didn’t buy everything  I left some for others but they all seemed to be priced between 10-30Lds and some where to good to miss.

There is some freebies and as you can see from the posters above my head this duck chair and those leaves are freebies.

There is also some Gachas which were cheap, but sorry can’t remember how much now.  Sadly I didn’t win this one which comes with 2 poses but I did win one of the little Duckie bags.

I also seemed to have picked up another gift which from what I could work out is a childs Hoover which is a wearable and when you start to walk it attaches itself to your bum and carries you, it’s very funny.  There are a couple of children’s clothes, toys shop here and I had some Awww moments.  Even if you’re not into kids a few of these make great decor items.

My last seat was one of the many freebies from [[RH]]Design House.  I’ve blogged them before and highly recommend you come for the 1 prim desk chair set which has some lovely detailing even for such low prims!

Make sure to walk out back of RH Designs as there is a selection of homes.  Mainly bleached/whitewashed in style.  I don’t think there is a demo out for the Winter House but that is only 60Lds and I have that house and I can recommend it.  Lovely texturing, lighting and detailing and a very reasonable prim count.  There is also 2 Lucky Boards just inside of the front doors.

I wanted to win this…

…but I won the stooopid bunny instead (actually the bunnies are soooo cute in their little onesies but I already have my IONIC bunnies and didn’t need more).

I would have been more than happy to have won this but had to settle for that lit wall decoration instead AND THEN I WON THIS!!!

OMG I was soooo happy.  I’ve seen this bed used on sims and drooled so to actually have won one from the IONIC Gacha was a “rare” treat.

Look at the details on this, the ladder at the foot of the bed the texturing of the fabric the cords that suspends the bed it’s all CLASS.  There is plenty of poses in the bed, if I remember a few singles, couples and friends but none in the ladder.  I haven’t really had time to try out the poses properly but I did write this post sitting on one of her many chairs in her shop and the AO in the chir is natural and smooth so I have high hopes that the ones in the bed are the same.

The items above all come from lakua Arriaga’s shop ICONIC which specialises in mainly Gacha items or so I thought till I went upstairs and found that she does also have items for sale as individual pieces and this is where I found this.

Thats me curled up in my foetal position because I so want this compact mini kitchen.  It’s actually for a full-sized AV not child or petite and even though it’s small it has everything.  Stove, sink, pots, pans, cutting board and on and on and only 300Lds!!!  I’m curled up because I really can’t or shouldn’t buy it for the simple reason that it won’t match my home and since I’m so happy with my SL house I’m not in a rush to change it, but the thought did cross my mind to literally buy this kitchen and then buy a house to fit it  HOW CRAZY IS THAT!!! So I curled up and waited till the urge to click and buy passed.

My Bad (freebies).

As I was rummaging through  my junk I came across some BRILLIANT freeness which I had just found yesterday so I slapped myself, metaphorically, on the forehead and quickly rezzed them.

These chairs make me so glad I resisted spending more Lindens in SL on some chairs I was looking at  because they’re as good as it gets texture wise, prim wise and pose wise.  2 Tatty school chairs with some nice poses in them and FREE.  As it happens when I type 8F8 into my invent it looks like I have a lot of their stuff.  This is a slightly unusual set up for a shop as it’s not a normal shop it’s Gacha only but from what I’ve seen there’s nothing I wouldn’t be happy to win.

You get the 2 chairs but you can also snag this cute little kite which flies around on the end of the balloon.  You get a total of 3 of these cuties the one shown and 2 are wearables.

 

Although it’s mainly water there are some beautiful planing and decor items plus plenty of hang out places.  This is the sim with its own Windlight setting but of course there is nothing to stop you having a play with it yourself.

Teasing.

I’m going to break one of my RL and SL rules and log in in the afternoon (I limit my SL time so my RL time doesn’t suffer and I find that even after all these years I still enjoy my SL time) because just before I returned to RL I stumbled up this new event.

The Dream, this is what greets you when you rezz, a small dome with clouds and a bed simply sit on the bed and you magically  rerezz on a matching bed but at ground level.

How adorable is this and of course you know that when this is simply the greeting area it undoubtedly means the shopping experience is going to be so much fun.  You walk to the end of that little pier where there is a little swing hanging from a cloud and you simply sit and you zip along to the main event.

Thats me “zipping” I just used the fun pose that it was set to but you can change the pose not that you’re on it for that long but as the main event is just through that tree corridor.

This is the view through the trees and even from this distance I see soooo many goodies and then I had to jump off my swing and return to RL.

I’m doing the post now because you might have the time to meander and it looks so good that I’m logging in a bit later for a wander around and if I buy anything I’ll show you and hopefully give you a better idea of whats here and the prices.

UPDATE – I Popped in and grabbed the LM and also checked out the goodies, ooodles of super Kawaii clothes, shoes, some skins and decor items.  Lots of new fresh designs from some big and some new shops to me.  Prices aren’t “as cheap as chips” (an old English saying) but neither are they extortionist and because there is a lot of Gachas that means lots of cute things priced for those with a limited budget so basically something for everyone.  Of course I caved in but even though I was sorely tempted I resisted the clothes and picked up some items of decor which I will show off in my next post.

m33R1 Resident  has some really daft (thats English for silly) items in the shop which will make most of us smirk but it’s also got some real handy goodies.  So even if you’re not into quirky still check this shop as it has some real lovely pieces set out amongst the “daftness”.  Although this is small shop make sure to check not only the outside and upper floor but the roof where there is even more fun items and some Lucky Chairs.  So plonk yourself on the banana seat and have a sort through of your old notes and score some goodies but then since a lot of items here are just a few Lindens there is no reason not to spoil yourself.

I think I broke my roses because I couldn’t get them to turn off and I’m 100% sure that you can have them positively glowing or more muted.  They’re actually on very long stalks and in the shop they’re hanging from the ceiling like lights or placed lower down like lamps.  Personally I think that if they were dotted around your landscaping they would add puddles of light to landscaped areas. The middle Daisy comes with poses as well. Not amazing ones but fit well and can be adjusted but the oversized flower itself is just lovely and creamy and only a single prim.  Go on! make a garden full of them.

Flying to my new moon.  An oversized lit umbrella light so no poses.  What can I say really just a fun item of light for your home.

Finally I found my moon.  The way you change your Windlight also changes the overall colour but it’s a basic luminous moon and with this windlight setting it’s turned golden.  Some lovely simple poses in it.

Prices are Rose Lights=15Lds, Daisy=20Lds, Umbrella light=29Lds some of the items are actually priced differently from the signs.

Pussy Tails. (freebies).

Decided to pop over to RH Designs because although Ryo Ixxel hasn’t put out a notice in a while I thought there might be some new stuff or better still some new free stuff in his shop [[RH]] Design House and I did find new free stuff.  This rug with not only with the 2 cushions but also a cute kitty cats bottom and tail poking out as it digs under the rug only come to 2 prims!  Most surprised and pleased and it will be kept out now.  There are 2 rugs to choose from this but apart from the difference in texture it’s exactly the same with the cushions and kitty cat.

Although it’s always great to see new free stuff it’s also lovely to see old GGs left out esp when they’re such great quality.  So make sure to grab not only the table next to these rugs but also check outside the front of the shop to see a whole load of Decor Group Gifts make sure to grab those crates and click and sit as they have hidden poses in them.

I rummaged in my Flickr Account and found my old photos of a previous GG which is the desk.  Just like everything in his shop if you check out the back of the chair and the front of the drawers you will see details not usual with such low primed items.  All of his items have such a lovely little touch to them and at affordable prices.
