I was perusing the market place the other day and came across this dollarbie dress from CandyMetal. I’ve seen the style around in SL before, but what grabbed my attention with this one is it comes with a HUD that gives you six alternative colours & patterns. I’m wearing it over my Slink physique mesh body, great fit !
Heres the HUD, nice mix of plaids and plains.
I was chuffed to get a note-card from Emychan @ CandyMetal the other day, the store is back in business ! The coat above is a group gift, the group is free to join. Very glam and stylish look. The grey turtle neck is actually part of the coat, it gives it a more polished appeal I think.
New on the rails are these scrummy “Nemy” leather look pants. Gorgeous texturing, beautifully cut at the waist and ankles, really sharp. You get a HUD with eight colours as part of the deal – $125L, quite the steal. I wish I had remembered to put on a pair of shoes I’ve previously bought from Mute but never mind. Booty hugging mesh pants with a metallic sheen to them. Once I finished taking this picture I just put on a sweater and these are such great basics that can be dressed up or down as you want.
Although my waist looks ridiculously tiny and these leggings/pants are meant to give you curves and even though my AV size is on the smaller size I think look great and not out of proportion and I’m going back for the black, white and the silver pair but many other colour options available.
Of course I had to put in a Booty shot LOL.
Mute is owned by Jᴀʏ Sʜᴀᴅᴏᴡs (jaysee.netizen) and when she shut her SL shop for various RL and SL issues she got so many messages off her supporters that she reopened a Discount Skybox and everything is priced at 10Lds. So far I’ve grabbed everything apart from 1 dress. Some great stuff and she puts out something new at least each week and usually more often. HOLY MOLY! I’ve just checked her Marketplace shop and she has put a total of 730 items priced between 0-10lds and 138 for between 11-110Lds the pricier items are the Fat Packs. Don’t Panic when you see that the link takes you to a shop called Sugar and Cyanide it’s the same shop just different names. I’m going to be stocking up on skater skirts, jumpers, SLink shoes and on and on.
Almost September and CandyMetal are ahead of the pack with the group gift out already! Handy mesh shorts and a cropped Tee, one thing I noticed is the design on the shirt varies across the sizes. I wore small and this design was on it – BUT! I then tried the medium on and got a glittery pink one – yum ❤ Group is free to join .
You might wanna grab these gorgy mules that are a dollarbie also. You get two pairs, one with a silver zip, one with a gold – these are for the Slink high feet. If you havent bought into Slink yet – go check it out. I found it so simple to use the feet, that I also bought the hands and then of course the body . I rarely, if ever remove the slink body – and I’m wearing the group gift outfit over it – dead simple to use. There are free demos for you to take away and fiddle about with – trust me – you will LOVE it all !
Well hello again Candymetal – yes yes, they are back with a bang and a super free gift for all group members. The group is free to join, so head on over and take a peek at the new store. In the box you get this retro bikini (non mesh) that has appliers for those who have to have the bewbies. You also get a pair of wicked sandals, and a new way to skin match them via a web site. There seems to be tons of skin makers pre-loaded or you can choose from a selection they have up to suit all skin tones. The only thing I couldn’t work out how to do was edit the shoe smaller – but I’m a bit of a dummy sometimes. Ohhh you also get a rather fab beach tote bag to clasp as you wander about ! The skin I’m wearing is also free – blogged by Zan last week but worth mentioning again. It’s by [PUMEC] and you can grab it from the market place – it has an all singing all dancing hud that contains every applier you’d EVER want – including slink hands and feet yay!
Its been a while since I heard from CandyMetal and Id really missed them! Well they are back and bringing wondrous gifts with them. Above is the re-opening gift, its pretty fantastical. You get the high-heeled boots, mesh jeans anddddd that quilted jacket with tee-shirt. I really adore this look – it got me out of looking like Mrs Santa Claus for a few minutes !
Now back to Mrs Santa Claus for the other gift, the Christmas gift is this snuggly buggly red coat. Trimmed with pure white fur, how seasonal and cute. You also get a pair of glossy red shoes and thigh high socks with it – but for some reason they just wouldn’t rez properly for me *shakes fist at the SL gods*…anyhooooo pop along and snaffle up your pressies and take a look around CandyMetal . Just in time for some major Halloween fun , Candymetal have released a sweet modern-day witch outfit for you. A short mesh mini skirt that dips just low enough at the front to reveal the lacy panties that are included. Mesh corset that fits so well..
