Tranquility

Tranquil Estates - the view from my home

Haven’t done a rental feature for a while, so while I had a couple of days downtime I thought Id have a poke about. Came up trumps when I landed at Tranquil Isle Estates and found a lovely quirky little home for just 90L per week ! This is my perfect view, isn’t it beautiful? No other home in sight and open sea , it couldn’t get much better, but it did – after paying the rental box I had a few questions and things I would like to be changed – yes, I suppose I am a bit demanding. Contacted the staff and voilà, group invite, and a rug that I didn’t need removed, later I asked for a few more prims and that was done very quickly also.

Tranquil Estates - Quirky rental 90L per week

This is the home, it’s actually made by Loki Eliot and you can buy it here on the market place. Different from what I generally go for, but something about it ticked my inner beachchild and I had to have it . I got 15 prims and really that does go a long way nowadays with mesh, however I grabbed a few more just so I could make it super-comfy and homely. It did have some furnishings included so I worked around them and made myself a gorgeously cosy space inside, and below a lounger, bathing tub and lots of plants. The bathing tub is from Dench Designs, brilliant little thing for one person, with several anims to wash, and do your hair, I think it was just 40L, but don’t quote me on that.

Tranquil Estates - fishes

What really delighted me was something I found out totally by accident. I fell of my deck and plunged below the water – only to find that the sea bed was also decorated. I walked the perimeter of the entire sim and was greeted by shoals of brightly coloured fish, sharks, jelly fish and lots more. There were sunken buildings and reef tunnels, absolutely lovely.

Tranquil Estates - overview

Overview of  part of the estate, so you can see it is lavishly landscaped. Places are connected by a series of wooden bridges, I spotted monkeys playing and all other sorts of wildlife. The rental homes are nicely spaced and of varying prices for all budgets.

Tranquil Estates - underwater !

I’m really tempted to break out my mermaid outfit or snorkelling gear and have a play around in the water. I think there is just one of the type I rented, but I did spot around the corner in the next cove some cheerful little beach huts, also at 90L per week.

Please note: I have no affiliation to the rental companies that I show, no one knows I will be blogging the home. I pay the rent and see how it goes, if there were any issues I would write about them – if there aren’t any probs, then I wont. Its an open & honest account of my time and experience whilst there.

Squeeze.

I remember a while ago drooling over a very shabby chic greenhouse/sun room which was a cobbled together collection of wood, textures, door etc and looked wonderful however the price tag and the prim count was not that attractive so when I found this low primmed low priced beauty I was so pleased.

At 31 prims, that includes the hanging basket/tool box you can just make out.  Comes set on a concrete slab.  As you can see the ceiling window opens but so does one of the windows on the side, love the sliding door.

inside

A sample of the tatty texturing. This is looking out the front door from inside….insideedew…and this is the other wall which as you can see is mainly windows.  A faux cupboard as well, not shown as I’ve lost that picture.  Even though the whole roof and almost one side of a wall and it also has 2 windows this still remains a cosy and private little hideaway.  I usually like to position myself in at least 1 picture so people can gauge the size but that’s the picutre I’ve lost but it is a decent size small enough for a tiny plot of land and big enough to take a whole load of comfy chairs, books and plants.  31 Prims and an even measlier price tag of only 75Lds!!!

The first LM should take you to her, Lindini2 Lane, shop and you have an excellent selection of beach houses, small mansions, shops etc all not only with great texturing but styling and also pricing I had actually bought myself 2 items from here but I’ve not had time to even rezz the shop I’ve bought but I’m so looking forward to seeing it when I do.

There is a LM board for the demo area but I’ve also added that LM as well so you can wander around and really see for yourself the quality.

Roots - old beach cottage - 5 prims - 9 Lindens !

Yet again , I’m down to my last few pennies in SL. Until that is I get my new bucketful of play dosh ! I fancied making a little place on a corner of our sim to relax in, BUT it had to be super cheap and also low in prims, quite the challenge huh? I set to work on the market place and almost in minutes had found this partial mesh old beach house for just 9L. Absolutely perfect, only 5 prims and such a pretty build. You actually get two versions for your 9 L, the old wall effect as shown here, plus a white brick interior style, both aged and both gorgeous.

I had an idea to make a place to sit while I blogged, somewhere I could look at the view of my land and ponder…then I found this “inspiration table” by Roots, it comes with three stools which are not linked , so you can choose how many you place out. On the table are some documents and diagrams, which if you click on them magically vanish ! Really lovely poses in the stools for both males & females. The clock is also by Roots, Just 2 prims and 9L to buy. My Autumn decor of pumpkin planters and wreath are from the discount section of what next, there’s a bunch of Autumnal stuff for 10L in there to grab.
