The Farm (The Challenge)

A new round of The Challenge has begun and it’s really a fantastic theme this time. “Farm” is the theme and I’ve got some great garden type treats to share with you . Above is the Farm shed from Black Tulip, 100% original mesh and really low prim (uhm 27 I think) The doors open to reveal a spacious interior, so plenty of room to fill up with your gardening and ground work gear.

22769 have some adorable vege beds to scatter around, cabbages, carrots, beetroots & lettuce plus an empty one incase you’ve got your own vegetables. Just 2Li and so realistic – I know I will be using these in my SL garden for sure! Little teaser above of the huge amount of pieces from Cleo Designs. I adore the little tray, probably because I just LOVE french cheese.

Cleo Designs has released this collection for your garden / farm. The bench is super comfy and ever so pretty with its casually tossed blanket over the back and plump cushions to rest upon. There is also a hen-house with chickens, couple outside that are not linked so you can place them wherever you wish, and some inside with a nest of cracked eggs. There’s baskets of fruit, freshly collected eggs in a tin carrier and of course a small cold-frame with some plants getting ready to be planted outside.

Last but certainly not least is the “makeshift sink” by %Percent. Its simply gorgeous to look at, and its also animated yay! Lovely poses to wash your hands from a days hard graft in the garden plus others. The tap works and also drip drip drips, nice touch is the dripping sound – dead cute. Li of 9 and soft linked – which means you can mess around with the parts and position them as you please.

The Challenge – roaring 20’s

I couldn’t wait for this round of The Challenge – its Art Deco !22769 bauwerk have a fantastic set out for you, two easy chairs in a really spot on deco style. Also a side table, two types of rug and a floor lamp. The texturing on the chairs is to-die-for! I set it all up along with the sweet deco inspired fireplace from Enchant3D. Can you believe its just 2Li? Plain white marble surround with that lovely 20’s feel shape on the very top. Gorgeous gold fire screen before a really roaring flame effect fire (touch for on and off).

Friday Slump

I almost forgot that a new round of The Challenge has begun – I’ve been that tired lately and now its Friday I’m definitely slumping. So anyway, one thing that really stood out for me in this current round is from 22769 bauwerk. The conversation bench sits up to three people, and has twelve sitting animations crammed inside. This version is white 7 gold – which I found particularly scrumptious! Ye s I am stilllllll wearing the Neve hounds-tooth pants, because they are delicious and I lurves them. This time with one of the newly released “espirit” sweaters from the neutrals pack. I had to buy some more wintery type shoes, so scoped the market place out and found these top-notch shoe/booties from Venus.

Great value at just $149L and the HUD is awesomely fantastic with a gazillion colours to play with yippeee! These will suit Slink, Maitreya & Belleza high feet btw. Gah, just noticed that the HUD hasn’t rezzed fully in the photo – but I’m sure you get the idea – sorry!

The Challenge – Electronics

Refreshed from my recent holiday , Im back to bring you a few of the releases for this months round of The Challenge. The theme is electronics and its REALLY a mixed bag! Above is  a montage of items, plus a free mesh bed I picked up from Belle Epoque , you get four colours and each has poses for a singleton – low prim and perfect for photo props. Group is free to join also – I did notice as I was going through my emails that they have another group gift out , so if the bed is gone might be something different?

Close up of the Zeus digital camera by NewChurch, its static , so great for slipping onto a table or in a photo. Lovely details and comes with the option of strap or no strap.

I fell in love with this bakers block and décor items from 22769 bauwerk – Super pretty and ever-so-low prim, you get the kettle, coffee machine and tins also – perfect for staging your home.

Posh Castaway

If I ever were to find myself castaway on a desert island I highly doubt Id be able to make more than a palm leaf matt! However in my dreams I’m always very proficient at whipping up nifty items from stuff I find washed up on the shore of the remote island of my night-time dreams. Obviously something like the beach shelter above Id have up in a jiffy right?! This is by Kuro and I absolutely adore it, its animated for two av’s and comes in at a lowly 9Li.

The driftwood wicker chair is by 22769, again just 9Li and stuffed full of top quality poses. The table, tealights, mirror and bookcase are part of the items out for The Challenge from Newchurch – new in this months round – the wood detail is exquisitely lovely, go check it out in the store – lots more of this set , various prim counts.

Shutterfield have been very practical and come up with a brilliant castaway Loo arrangement ! Seriously go and try out the poses – fantastic !

Hate this have a castaway camp set out, really lovely poses in the cushions (animates up to two people) and a roaring log fire to sit around. You can just see the bed by shutterfield inside my glorious “Breeze” build by Scarlet Creative. Breeze is only $99L at the mainstore, it’s an open type of gazebo, with faded drapes at both ends and shutter boards to cast a bit of shade – just right for the summer and gardens .

The Challenge – Its Asian Baby

The theme for this round of The Challenge is Asian, so don’t be surprised to see plenty of sushi and spring rolls ! Seriously totes amazing foody items this round, makes me a happy bunny. Jian has an incredible food set out, platters of Asian treats, VERY low Li and also colour change for the dishes, bottle & glasses. (The mainstore has just opened up – join the group and get your opening gift of candles!) Also in the frame are bauwerk with their beautifully adorned cabinet and assorted deco items, low prim and really on trend. The table I’ve laid the food out on is a bargain from Roots. I found on the market place, just 9L for the whole set, the fabrics have a choice of colours and designs built right in.

I was most impressed with this Asian themed sky box I found on the market place for just 10L. It’s by Zyn and is called “Little Zen Skybox”, only 36 prims in total and you get everything you see in the photo – with the exception of the bamboo plants. (I swapped out the flowers it came with for bamboo – easily done as its modify)

The Challenge – Drifting

A new round of The Challenge has begun, and I’ve got the perfect thing to share with you for lazing about. This raft is by 22769 bauwerk and its stuffed with poses that will let you lounge about in the sunrays. Its called a beach raft but really it works for lakes and ponds also. Beautifully decorated with flippers, a cotton wrap that’s hanging on to the edge and a life ring it will bring some life to your water and peace to your soul. Theres even some water melon sliced and ready to chomp on ! The raft seats up to three people and there are 20 animations built right in – perfect huh?
