It’s crowded and I’m bored.(Old Freebie).

I’ve been TPing in and out of Mina’s all day because on her sim is a new hair event and the sim is heaving BUT the doors, or rather the barrier lines, are not open to this event.

Apart from the fact that there is a New Mina hair I can’t really tell you much more about this event but like everyone else I have cammed and some if not all of the biggest names in SL wig making are at this event so it should be interesting, to say the least.

I did have a chuckle as some people didn’t just cam they actually clicked and grabbed some demos and were trying them on on the other side of the ban lines because you just know we cannot resist a new hair do, lol.

As I was stood there I was rummaging through my invent and came across my beloved roses headdress.

You know I don’t have the time or patience to wear many accessories, Hell I don’t even wear knickers in SL, but I have a soft spot for floral headdresses and own so many.  So I TPed over to Aisling which is where it came from and it’s still there.  This and a few other items, mainly decor, are free for all and if you only have space for 2 things get this headdress and you may spot the 1st-anniversary gift of a potted plant and even though that is God knows how old it’s as good now as then.

PS.  Ignore the dress, it is a group gift and lovely which is why it’s a “keeper” but it cost 100Lds to join that group and although the gifts are good there isn’t anything new and in fact I don’t think there has been anything new for emmm maybe a year or so.  If you do want to join the group to grab it and the other freebies drop me a note inworld and I will send you the LM.  The dress does come with a small texture hud and 3 of them are so pretty.  There is also, oddly since the shop is a clothings shop, small trees in hessian sacks I believe and they are brill.

Sorry, although I would be so happy to be able to bring you such a glorious dress as a freebie this one is definitely a paid for one.

So I was spending a few mins in my home rezzing some more decor items out because you can never have too much clutter in your life, and I came across some items from Aisling and since they are so good I decided to do a quick TP and check out if they’re still there and they are.  Home decor items, low prim and high quality, a mix of things ie rug with cute rat poking it’s head out, some lamps and the items I was rezzing are some extremely realistic houseplants which at only 1 prim and many shades I will be placing everywhere.  There is even a lucky tub and I won a rotten apple…err not lucky tub for me then.

The one freebie I grabbed because I still have the others tucked away is this stunningly beautiful headdress of big fat Spring Roses.

As always I rezzed a copy of this on the ground to prim count and Holy Carp only 1 prim! So not only a stunning wearable but an equally stunning decor item.

I would have loved to show you them all but yet as always a rush in RL means I’ve had so little time and it’s such a shame as the other gifts set out are so good so make sure to check them out for yourself.

Anyhow, I’m taking a work day and SL day off tomorrow, although since New Year’s day I’ve stuck to my healthy(ish) diet plan tomorrow is my last blow out before I stick more rigidly to my diet because DAMNIT I want to be back into my skinnies!

Vintage Cheapness & Yeah.

PHEW managed to get through a day without the need for pain killers and Faith is doing OK and like me is back with some real goodies but being as I’m the “Cheap Biatch” of the two of us here are my bargains.

Since I’m easing myself back into RL Work and SLing I decided to start off back at The Vintage & Cool Fair.  In my last post in which I showed you 2 of the NEW Mina available at this event I had also spied out some Freebies & Dollarbies dotted around.  Not all the shops have the sweet little gift box waiting for you but in the very limited time I spent there I picked up some jewelry,Shoes, skirt and this simple beige dress.  Sorry can’t give you direct LMs but if you have some spare time then this is a great full sim to kill some time and pick up some paid for and free goodies.

This dress is I believe 80% is from Shine (it is I’ve checked).  You get all the standard mesh sizes and a one size fits all version which is the one I’m wearing.  A great fit, simple and elegant styling and a cheeky slash in the skirt.

Great SLink/Maitreya High shoes.

Not just another pair of SLink/Maitreya High Shoes from N-Core but they also come for Belleza, N-Core Extreme Feet and TMP Ouch Feet!

Special mention to the Mina hair. I can’t believe that there are so many new Mina hairs out and usually I like to stagger what I show you but since all of them are so different and all are at special events I thought I’d use them so you may not like the simple high browed swept back look I’m wearing in this picture but check out my previous post and you might just like one of the styles.  Can I also say that for the Men the Mens hair department is now as big as the girls so when you’re OH wants to get a new hair make him try Mina’s.

PS and also if you’re not into a “Vintage” please don’t let that put you off visiting this event.  It’s a big sim wide event and although obviously there is a lot of Vintage going on I saw many new and fresh designs for clothes, home decor and accessories.  I ended up grabbing so many demos to try on later and I’m pretty sure you all will too.

“Old Wood Things”(Freebies).

RL was a bit busy today (bloddy dentist OW) so I thought I’d just pop inworld and check my notes but as soon as I saw this one I thought “ooo easy quick post” and here it is.

They all come from Aisling and are inc in the same box and you don’t even have to join a group to grab.

A close up of the chests, they have that very Olde Worlde look to them which of course isn’t surprising when you see that Druunah Esharham’s shop is aimed towards the those whole enjoy RPing or even just prefer a more rustic look to their home.  Please do not let this put you off visiting, there is a whole range of furniture, RPing and clothing here and the quality is excellent which means no matter how modern your home is I’m pretty sure you will find a statement piece here.

These 1 prims lamps come in the same box as the trunks and you get 3 of them, copyable.

So of course I go back to LM grab and find even more Freebies so check this out, 5 prims crystal chandelier.  It’s simple and yet intricate and yes FREE.  Actually I also did a quick Apple Bob as I was there but RL was demanding attention so I have no idea of what I won.

I’ve blogged this shop quite recently as I picked up some great freebies from here and even treated myself to some candlesticks, I’ll put the link at the bottom, please check them out because the rug with the cheeky mouse is a keeper for my home and she has some amazingly detailed plants out for only a single prim but you will be able to see them if you check out the Aisling Old Post link.

Lucky Me(Freebie)&Gacha……..OOO Update.

I spent some time at a beautiful shopping sim but sadly didn’t find any freebies:-( however I did spot a rug in one of the shops being used as a decor item and I knew it would be perfect for my home so I clicked and got the details and TPed over to Damian Kleiner’s shop, Aisling  and WOO HOO turns out it’s a FREEBIE! I love it when that happens.

Yet again I’m rearranging my beloved home it’s an addiction.  Faith knows I have a house/skybox/shed/greenhouse and on and on addiction and over the years I’ve lived in many styles of home from a tiny Japanese shoe box sized apartment to a grand skybox but this home from LISP has been the longest lasting home ever! So one day when I finally finish my fiddling with it I will show you some pretty pictures.

Back to the rug.  A freebie from Aisling and I love it, it’s just what I was after and check out this lovely touch, even with this cute critter and the shadow this rug is only 1Prim! There’s actually more Freebies inc some very realistic fur rugs.

Aisling is a really lovely shop and although it’s aimed towards the RPing community there is some stunning items for everyone here.  I tried out a bath which was not only beautiful and unique the poses in it were as well, a rather sexy undressing AO where the man can undress the woman and visa versa (looked a bit sad doing that on my own some LOL) but it did look very smooth and sexy.

The Freebies, I also picked up some very realistic animal skin rugs as well, are in the main landing area.  To get to the other departments you have to use the TP’s set into the floor.  A very easy system and it really is worth checking out the different departments.

I of course went straight to the Gacha Dept and for 50Lds won this.  I should have held off taking the picture for just a second as the writing on the paper is much crisper than is shown but you can see from the ashtray alone how sharp it is.  Such detail even down to the heat spot on the ashtray.  Everything apart from the cup planter in the background is linked and it’s only a SINGLE PRIM! 50Lds a go on this Gacha and as I’ve said I would have been happy with anything from it and I know damned well that when I go back to grab the LM I’ll take a chance on it again (I did go back and I won an equally as brill waste basket).

Special mention to the builds here.  As I’ve said I’m addicted to houses but the more rustic RPing ones always leave me a bot cold as they just don’t seem to work for me that is but there are some of the best rustic farm houses/homes I’ve ever seen here.  The texturing is excellent and the prim count and price more than reasonable even as a non RPer I’d still be so tempted.

UPDATE.  Can’t believe I almost missed out these brill FREEBIES from Aisling.

I just quickly  rezzed a few of them on the table which is why you can see the shadow over the side of the table but I really wanted to get this posted before I left SL.

I had one of these once but it went the same way as most of my house plants, died slowly but surely.  I’ve done nothing to the picture apart from using my sim setting and look at that detail and texturing and not only is this an anniversary freebie but each plant is only a single prim!

Again a Freebie from Aisling which is why I’m adding it to this post at the last minute.  You get them in the same place as the other freebies but not on the wall, you will see a large wood planter with these in it on the floor next to the wall.  Just click and you get the whole lot, I think about5-6 different colours, copy and at a single prim so usable.
