Cracked it. (Hunt prize, Freebie).

Blimey if it hadn’t been from the Heads Up from Indigo I would never have found any of the hidden pumpkins at the QE Design shop, in fact, I’d given up even trying. It turns out they’re very small and very well hidden.

I’ve only bought the ankle boots, this hunt does go on for a while longer so I may just return for the blouse and jeans esp as they do come in my Slink fit.

The white line on the back of the heel is actually a zipper and not some sort of “breakthrough”. As mentioned each hunt item is only 25Lds and every item of clothing comes with 2 colour options and they’re all quality gifts. If you’d like to try a demo then check out the full-priced options inside and I’m pretty sure you too will be happy to pay what is really just a token price.

Now for freebies.

I did show you one of the Free to Join Group Gifts from the QE Design shop so check out my “I’m useless” post. An excellent full outfit which included a cardigan/jacket in pastel colours. I had grabbed the other freebies but I wasn’t going to show you them as I do sometimes like to leave a nice surprise for others but when I unpacked this cardigan/coat which is the same as the one which comes in the gift I showed you but that one has a hud of pastel colours while this one has more autumnal/earthy shades which are just my fav colours.

It also gives me a great excuse to put the LM for the Bumblebee shop as this top I’m wearing under the cardie is not only a great fit it is just one of many lucky boards wins I’ve kept. There are quite a few Lucky Boards at the Bumblebee shop and usually, a high turn over so it won’t be long till you win some really easy to wear quality items. PLUS there is still free shop credit for new members which I do believe is 250Lds. Pretty generous. I’ve got quite a few pieces from this shop and one of my “go-to” outfits comes from here.

Remember, remember the 5th of…nah forget it. (UPDATE on Hunt).

Today in the UK it is the 5th of November and we traditionally celebrate it by setting off fireworks, bonfires and “penny for the Guy”. This year we ain’t.

SL has been a bit borky for me today and it was showing up in the Second Life Status update page that there had been some issues but I still managed to get inwold a couple of times as I was so determined to find those hidden pumpkins at the QE Design shop and not only did I not find a single pumpkin I spotted I’d made a mistake and this isn’t a free hunt.

As you can see the prizes are 25Lds each and as you can also see from the second picture they’re worth it.

It was no3, 5 and 6 that I wanted and it says and shows you that you get 2 colours in each clothing pack and the decor items come with “multipul textures”.

I cannot for the life of me find any of the pumpkins! I’ve visited the shop at least 4 times, walked inside, outside, on the roof and under the floor boards and can I find at least one of them..can I heck!

So I’m giving in, I’m not sure if I’m just that lousy at hunting or for some reason they have been delayed at putting them out. I’d hate for you to miss them though so here is the LM and best of luck to you…cos I didn’t have any!

PS. Remember though there are some excellent Free Group Gifts, just scroll past a couple of posts for them.

Bloddy Cats! (25Ld Hunt & Little Freebie).

ARGH You’d think that black cats, even if they are small, will stand out more in a light and bright shop but it took me forever to find the one cat with the prize I wanted.

This isn’t the cat you’re hunting for, he’s just a prop.

The Paper Sparrow shop has a little paid for hunt going on and each prize is 25Lds. The picture of the prizes is small but it’s there on the entrance wall. Unfortunately, because they’re not numbered to find the prize you will have to click on the cat go into edit and then contents to find what’s in that cat.

I was hunting for either the leggings or this top and this top is the one I found first.  I would have sworn there was a small number of fits so I was a tad annoyed when I found that this particular prize is only a Maitreya fit and it’s probably the same for the rest of the prizes but luckily for me both the bra and jumper turned out to be totally wearable but if you want to try then the full-priced ones are in the shop and you can try the demo out first.

Bra/sweater can also be worn as separates and I do have to say that it’s more grey than this grey with a hint of brown.

As for the “Little Freebie” it’s that delicate drip of blood coming out of my nose.  This comes from Izzies and it’s a free for all, you will also see some lovely black lippie which is the one I usually wear when I’m feeling all Goth like and it is also a free for all gift.  Just a heads up though, don’t be tempted by the cheapo boxes.  I’m going by memory but I think the contents just haven’t stood the test of time, I could be wrong as they may have newer old stuff in them buttttttt…resist.

I have to say that Izzies is a shop I LOVE for their AV touch-ups, this is the place to buy sweat, tears, scars, wrinkles, stretch marks, moles and pockmarks to make your AV as beautifully imperfect as we really are.  I often take advantage of their FLF offers.

PS.  The claws are a DRD item, God knows when or where I picked them up but I don’t think they’re freebies.
