Twelve Days of Christmas

A great event is on at the Jersey Shore shopping area..Twelve Days of Christmas Hunt ! There are ooodles of stores participating…Pink label & SAKIDE are two of my favs, so I headed over to take a peek. Pink Label actually has two gifts for you to find, all the stores are pretty small so its dead simple to find them, even I found them ! Youre looking for a small silver star, each prize is only 12L. I’ve mishmashed two gifts into one above..the sludgey green sweater which I LOVE..short skirt and the fahhhbulous shirt…theres a short flouncy skirt also in one pack if you fancy a change. Boots are from DUH “snow booties in cedar” cost just 25L, if you havent been to DUH go check it out..such good value, and lully bags alongside the shoes, boots etc..

I also trotted into SAKIDE and snapped up their prize…wowser..you get a fat pack of these scrummy dresses…red, black & white…theres a whole lotta butt cleavage going on at the rear…get your own and check it out !

I had a preview of some new gear from ArisAris…you know, there’s pretty much nothing that this store releases that I don’t just love? Well made clothes, stylish…easy to wear..hits all the buttons for moi…the latest release is no different “Lara” looks sort of ethnic…or hmm Mexican? Its got a chilli flavour going on..I was hard pressed to choose between the dark red or this Olive green above …the green won out !

The whole outfit has a wealth of details…woolen pompoms dangle from the corners..the great BIG belt that pinches in your waist…fahhhbulous flared w-i-d-e sleeves…and of the course the fantastic shawl collar…toh-tah-lee loving it ! Various colours available…just 250L. Oh ! also the store is brand spankin new..very chic..loads of group gifts (free join yay!) at the back of the ground floor…dont forget to check them out while you’re there..

Gettin in the sweater groove

One of the best things about winter is…sweaters! Sooo many winter themed sims around SL at the moment and plenty of photo opps, so get your big jumpers on and go for it ! I was a lucky girly as Leri Miles sent me her latest wooly creation called *Cheryl*, I’m showing it above in the wine colour, a real Chrismassy classic…

Also just adored the Teal tone…such a great colour for jeans but also cool enough to toss on over some dark velvet pants or a skirt…lovely insert tee detail..I didnt have to fiddle about with a thing..straight off-the-peg !  Be sure to have a wander around the store while you’re there…fab range of casuals,frocks,shoes & some to-die-for bags (if the Dirty Turkey hunt is still on find that too!) I adore winter, and one of the best things about it is being able to drag out allll my sweaters & sweater dresses…Im a snugglebug kinda chick !!

Isnt it adorable? It does come with a wooly hat also but I wanted to show off my newwww hair ! The jacket is superbly made, with milo’s signature goth crosses dotted around..chunky belt crosses just under the chest so the winter grey knitted dress falls perfectly below. You could wear it over jeans , leggings or tights also for an even snugglier look. Finishing touches include the pompom hat & beautiful tied white scarf, it’s not coming offa my tired cold bones for a few days!

ohhh two of my most favourite things in one place ! Bubbles(z) andddd snow! Yes Yes Yes !! Bubblez refurbishment is complete and its a real winter treat…things to do…penguins…skating…polar bears that skate and some that seem to have fallen asleep ! Theres even some free skates so you can really look the part awww . To go with all this winter climate Milo Bubble has released a newwww outfit hurrah! Its called “Winter love” and she has very kindly allowed me to show you it *squidgy hugs for milo*..its soooooo furrrrry and epically  snuggly…check it out..click the pics for a closer view !

As you can see, milo hasnt skimped as usual on the design details, beautifully textured knitted sweater, with rows of wibbly wobbly fringes over the chest area (is that a technical term? !) gorjussss furrry stole to warm your neck, arm warmers fringed with fur also. The hat is dreamy its just FITS ! (but does come with a rezier for those who love to fiddle ) The pants are sooooper coool…matching the sweater with perfect prim cuffs and a longgg stripe form your waist to your tootsies. I almost squealed when I looked at the back….loooooook!

Isnt that huge bow just theee most devine finishing touch? so feminine…and girly. If you want to see this outfit “moving” go look at milo’s  you tube video where she has this on, you’ll understand I think why I adore the way she creates. It isn’t really so much about the clothes..its about how they move on “you”, how her creation makes you feel and how they accentuate ”you”, you wear them, they don’t wear you…you know? We are all unique in this pixel world…arent we?

I received a group gift today from Dama, and it has reminded me that winter is almost upon us..such a cheery colour! Dama is rather generous to its group members so don’t forget to join.
