Mesh around with a little CHIC² preview

omg omg omg I’m sooo excited..I was trudging about looking for hunt prizes to show you for the Mesh Around Hunt…and ohmai..I was rewarded with two incredible gifts..First I stumbled across Ploom’s prize, this darling hair..”daisy”…it comes with a HUD so you can change the color…and is so so SO pretty, it was on my head and fixed there straight away ! Then I saw that my fav shoe designer Mr Gospel Voom wa sin the hunt..so off I trundled..and found his prize also ! oh…oh…OH….its not only PINK…but its ankle boots..the newwwwwwww ones *faint*…arent they just EDIBLE? Thank you ploom & GOS for being so über generous..and making my day ultra smiley <3 If you’re wondering where my divine little blue shorts set is from…wellllll its  a sneak preview from the upcoming CHIC² event…mmhmm…gawd its adorbs…mesh puffy shorts..sweet sailor shirt and big ruffle bow…I feel a zillion bucks in it..from Jack spoon and called “saily outfit”…the skin is from {.essences.} and is named Rowena…both of these items will be available to drop into your shopping bags on June 3rd – 24th , CHIC have their 2nd Birthday..and this is a massive collection of designers to celebrate. Each brand will have one new and exclusive (for the duration of the event) item with the theme of CHIC. huzzzah!

Skin Flick

I’m not an addict I’m not an addict I’m NOT an addict! Oh Wait then why did I grab sooo many free skins from the Skin Showcase? simple really because what amazing quality!  It’s hard to find good free skins in SL, and don’t get me started on shapes, but not only are they good but outstanding in fact they’re shop quality.  However to get all the freeness you need to join the Skin Addiction Group and then wander around the sims and loads of bags and boxes set out for you to click on.  Many however are demos but nice to be able to check out and see whats new.

One small thing check your Scripts at the door.  Not sure if you will be ejected if your script count is over 10, don’t worry they give you plenty of warning to script down first.  I have a handy freaky trick which is a pure black skin and with that skin on I can ditch not only hair but my clothes and walk around butt naked and you can’t tell, sneaky or what?

OK lets move onto this skin, it was the first I unpacked so it’s the one I will tell you about.  Called  *L*Sapphire from Leafy Skins and Shapes and how nice that it comes not only with a choice of brows but two clevage layers.  The one shown is busty and the other more natural.  Great details on the more intimate bits, belly button, collar bone etc all those areas which show the difference between a rotten skin and a great skin but what got me the most was the great make up, metal blue, a dot of a beauty spit and lips which are so Posh Spice.  Have to confess I don’t think my picture really does this skin justice so you’d better pop over, grab your invite, group boards there, and go find out for yourself.

It’s always so lovely to get out of the studio…and find a spot at home to fool around …today I decided to go catch me some fireflies ! (In real life, I only got clouds of mozzzies in the garden ~le-sigh~) I had a box of newness from Jane (thank you Janie!) and hubbidy hubba…it was just the job for prancing about in on the beach…First up…Ive gotta talk “jeans”…yesyesyes…Jane has meshy jeans…and you know what I SO love about these? Fantastico fit ! You get a plethora of sizes …sure..but also…two types of cuff..I’m wearing the ”classic” one here, which is just about the most perfect length for me, specially with flats..also there is a slightly longer cuff style which is fab for heels (or taller av’s)…these little gems come in all the shades of denim you could possibly ever want ! from light to dark and inbetweeny…called “sweet n low”…grab a fat pack …cause you’re gonna need it. Im also wearing the handydandy ”boyfriend” tank …lotsa colours…simple cut that sliiiiides over to kiss your hipbones…and rucks up sweetly one side…

Change of denim and another new top , “drifter”, so so dainty halter in delicate shades…you know this would look awesomesauce with one of those long maxi mesh skirts too, no? Love how it flares out slightly and dips at the back…(ohnoesss…a firefly is making a run for it !)

And if you liked “drifter”, you’ll love “casey”…same style but a fresh floral fabric…squillions of daisies ! Awww…I decided to release my jar of fireflies…

Finally…my fav of this collection..the “too dye for tank”…I adore this gold tone…worn with one of the lighter denims is “peeeeace man” all the way ! Im a Candy Girl

I have newness from CandyMetal, wih a coupla olden’s but goldens thrown into the mix..First up are the gorg ”toto pitillos” jeans, they are unisex and come in stacks of colours..I’m showing the red tone…check out my boots !! Just 1L  “shoes for life” , found them in the dollarbie section right at the back of the store..modify so I changed the colour from silver to a deep red to go with the pants…yumm…the white tee Im wearing is actually part of a dollarbie outfit in the same section, it’s a body suit to be precise …hair & hat is a freeb from Exile, wander over to the right as you enter and look for the free hair there…theres heapss !

The skin I’m wearing is also new from CandyMetal,its called Sonya..Im wearing the tan colour…but theres a wide range of shades to pick from.. I really really love the shadowing work across the bust…and the facial colouring is especially pretty…you can check it out instore ! I’m wearing a paler skin than I usually do today…and I admit I’m finding it refreshing. Its called “Ally” and is by Gigi Ponnier @ NVious…I find a lot of pale tones of skin look very chalky…and unnaturally white…but this is just beautiful. The skin colour has a slightly peach hue to it..so youre a delicate flesh tone with a hint of colour. Gigi has also had a light touch with the eyebrows..not as heavy and dark as many many others I’ve tried…the lips are quite full and super pretty…I adore the sheer lipstick used it’s a versatile shade..not overtly red…not overtly pink..it would fit with a large range of clothing colours…

Was soooo excited to see FA Creations in this gig I almost choked on my pepsi! As usual they have an enormoussss gifty..fantastique rockabilly outfit..comes with ALL you see..yesyes boots, glasses,jewelry etc..aint that grand? LOVE it!

There are also pj’s,peeejammmassss yay! This set from Stoopidly cool is awesome..you get a coupla choices of tops & bottoms plusss a pair of boy shorts style…so snuggly buggly..

Kennedy’s have a huge pack of “deary Lou” shirts for you in four different shades…such a cute graphic on this and do I spy nipplage drawn on hmm? how roood!

Ohhhh booots!! yippeeee…I have these in another colour (sort of tan) but the red is just so happy…great for stomping about in these winter months and soooo classic..shearling tops…stylish wedges…yummm, these are from from Vero Modero , possibly my fav item at the moment ..

Got happy smiley to see SAKIDE in the hunt…always have such *of the moment* gear…and this outfit is fabbalicious..its called “whatever but classy”, you get two sweaters and also two pairs of the cuffed shorts (white & black) plusss some divine tights…seriously, i get excited about GOOD tights in SL..trust me on this..youll wear these babies for yearsss !

Liked Steves gift from Shiki so much I made him take me there and find the girl’s gift! (yes yes yes he IS my hunt detective because Iam sooo useless at finding them myself) It’s the item for the Christmas Hunt 2 and is this terrific tartan print dress…with a swirly full skirt that happily floats around your legs..and a turtle neck collar..smart but also comfortable…I have cakies ! I was mooching about poche and saw this set out for just 50L *faints*…

it’s called ”a girlish tea party” and its adorbs…a cake stand with different little cakes on it..and a flat plate filled with vibrantly coloured macaroons..if you touch the cakes..you receive the plate & fork that has a very lovely eating animation and hold..fantastic ! It is a little bit primmy but what the heck…when Zan comes a calling its gonna be so nice to get this out and have tea with her !

I have a promotion from Bubblez for youuu..and boy-oh-boy its MASSIVE! The “Ori” complete avatar in a box…the only bits I’m not wearing are the lashes & face light (cause nothing will separate me from my Glitterati lashes nu uh) I’ve not worn this type of shape or skin before so I was curious..have to say I felt like a sweet dolly ! The look is well proportioned and dainty…and the skin is deeeliciously sweet..rosebud shaped mouth…and dramatically coloured eyemake…its stunning…lovely blush of colour across the cheeks also. Of course…youre also getting the hair and the outfit..for the promotional price of 99L the hair colour is blonde..maybe its available in other colours later..Im not sure.

I was mooching the market place last night and came across this gorjusss gown for just 2L. It is, the creator says ” a work in progress” and shed love some feedback  for it. Welllll my feedback is gonna be awesome..because this feminine dress is just divine! I adore the colour, soft delicate beigey gold with what looks like tiny tiny seed pearls dotted along the hem. Its soooo floaty..

here’s the rear view…beautiful deep plunging back…soooo as this gown was sooper lovely I paid the inworld store a visit…glad I did because…

there was this glorioussss butterfly gown as a group gift…such a delish colour, it also has butterflies that circle around you *dies* I LOVE that!…group is free join hurrah! If you’re wondering about the skin I’m wearing a lot recently (and in the photo above) It’s from Art Body Store and is called Amy…the faces of these skins are just amazing, very lush lips, and pretty eyes..900L for a pack of 6 makeups. I’m showing the pale version here but recently have been wearing the tan. Whilst I adore the face, I have to say, for me, the body is somewhat lacking. The breasts have a hard edge around them for the cleavage…and the nipples on the tan are really just way too dark…BUT…I absolutely love the faces..and will wear them just because of that !

As long as I’m wearing shoes..I’m not naked (Faiths rule of nudity No.3) I’ve not seen Zan soooo excited in a long time…she dashed over to my home to show me these scrummy shooz…and I WANTED them !
