Monday rolls in

Like a bad penny..Monday is here…dont fret though..cause the one bright spot on the horizon is Monday Mania ! I’ve got two distinct looks for you..first up is SF Design’s leather booty shorts and cropped top…rock chick yeahhh! I teamed it up with this absolutely stunning necklace, bangle & earings from n @ n @ , Love it !

Then a more sedate look…this bright red classically styled mesh dress is from Serenity Fashion. Simple yet elegant no? My bag was a real find from DUH..just 20L and you get silver and gold options for the chain, plus hand or shoulder versions!  Worn with a beautiful jewelry set from Beloved…the “chandelier set”, comprises earings & necklace

Stepping into summer already?

Well here in jolly old England we sure are..sizzzly hot all weekend…phew… G&N Quality Design have the perfect outfit to soak up his unexpected sunshine..its called “Cara” and I so so SO love it…such  sweet little floral mesh dress…a floppy sunhat to keep the freckles at bay…also a pair of sneakers ! The cost? Its free..not sure how long this will be available for..so dash over and grab it up while you can..Looked to be a great store..so have a mooch…

o.O I love love LOVE when The Wash has an event on..they are always such fun and great value ! This time its “Retro Swap Meet”, kinda themed around retro (of course) and a yard sale type of thing…groooovy! Most everything is an astounding 10L..I found other things for even less though, such as my fabbotastic ”omg, I’m so retro” framed print from Fire Beach Designs 5L…and my wearable 70′s style glitter disco ball was only 1L from Mind Games ..shoes are from [MV] and a real steal deal at 10L (lotsa colours available in these) but my favourite of ALL..has gotta be this darling mesh dress from “Bag Lady Designs” omg..10L ! Guys, theres gear for you also…plus furniture, jewelry etc etc…

Theres ooodles to see and buy…at those prices you can afford to snap up heaps !

The Wash Retro Swap Meet

Ohhhh cmon, you KNOW the tune…its been whirling through my head all morning..so I had to listen to it fifty gazillion times on your tube (here, you be haunted now – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ju8Hr50Ckwk&ob=av2e ) . Anyyyyhoooo…it got me in the mood to lounge around in my new photo box and try on a few of the new releases from coldLogic. I know right?  The team must be burning that midnight oil like crazy ! I chose the new “Lockhart” shirt in pink to show you…along with the crackin new denim capris called “wells”. The capris are JUST what Id been longing for…casual…a great fit and simply ooodles of shades of denim…Im thinking the shirt is gonna be on of those “what did I do before I bought this” things..so easy to wear and shockingly pretty…ton of choice in colours also !

Soooo…with fluttery fingers I opened up the dress boxes…since mesh came along, Ive renewed my passion for frocks. No more panels poking out…its slinky fitting allllll the way…”gish” is elegant..and definately sleek…you get a choice with this dress of a toning cleavage insert, or not…I went for the blue dress and co ordinated a yellow belt and insert…if you splash out on a fat pack, you’re really getting SO many different ways to wear this…nice touch of the linen look fabric…love it !

Next up is one little number I will wear and wear…”wood”, plaid-goes-to-hollywood , cute but sophisticated look…the mesh belt is really working for me…again quite a few colour choices in this…so go see and try a few demos out.

Lil bit retro with this next one..50′s glamour and spotty..a winner for me and my look of the day ! You dont have to wear the belt..and initially I didnt…but but but..the belts are soo adorbs…so my long necklace came off and on with the belt…incase youre wonderin…I dont have a modify shape…so I cant fiddle with it (just as well probably- Id only mess it up) soooo I’m wearing all this gear as is..with no shape editing at all…there are many sizes included with each item…so grab up the demos and give it a try.

Okkkk last up *sighhhh*…is “drew”, another dress…this time with a cheery print all over…Im being bolder with colour these days yay! This is the white version…and red is such a great contrast with it…red shoesss…white shoesss…decisions decisions…This is just a small sample of the new collection (yes really !) Keep Calm and Keep Shopping…hmm that sounds like MY kinda event ! The event runs from May 14th until May 28th..All participating stores will have one (or more) brand new, exclusive, never to be sold again item(s) placed in their stores. It’s not a discount event, items will be full price.

 B&T Atelier might be new to some of you…but theyve been creating in SL for agess…and *drum roll* pleeeeease ! They are about to open their brand new mesh studio…break out those pompoms guys & gals..(yes stuff for both genders hoooray!)..you’re gonna love it. I’m showing B&T’s dress for the Keep Calm event…its a sweet little number…silver & greys swirl around in a floral pattern, the texture looks sort of velvety..and of course..its mesh ! Included in the box is also a lacey bra…that you can wear under the dress so it peeks out at the back & cleavage area…nice touch.

Couldnt resist wearing my new mesh SF Design boots with it…this time utilising the HUD to make my own colour for them (15 preset colours , plus tintable) I went with a silvery grey to accentuate the dress…my necklace is from DUH  ”pound of pearls”, which I believe is still a dollarbie ..last but definitely not least..I headed over to Wall Candy and picked up their offering for the event..”keep calm and shop more” wall decal..just 60L…it comes with black type, but is tintable and modify for the size…handy !

Dreaming…of the sun

After a rainy start…we had some sun this afternoon…made me wish SO hard for the summer to hurry along…just right for the warmer days ahead is this new release from Arisaris…the hankerchief dress…batik inspired print…with a really beautiful shape to the hem…its mesh so jump on in and give it a whirl…trust me..you will love ! A real steal for 199L…

I also popped along to the new collection at The Dressing room..and snapped up this hair from one of my fav hair designers Exile..called “Violetta”, comes with four colours all for 60L !

As it’s pouring with rain here, yet again..I decided to get colourful in my Secondlife ! New dress from CandyMetal brightened my day..its called “sport” and has sooo many different colours to choose from..I chose red.I ❤ the sweet patch pockets !..To make it LEAP out even more..slipped a coldLogic ”may” jacket in aquamarine…nice contrast…sunny clothes yay! (The may jacket is actually part of a set, but you have the handydandy option of wearing the tube top or jacket separately, LOVE that) Im also wearing the latest skin from Hush, this ones called “Grace”, the honey tone is my favourite of all the skin shades…info below:

I was so so happy to get a mesh dress from Bubblez..and it didn’t disappoint.its called “Olivia”and the mix of dots & plaid is just gorgeous…simple tube dress but “simple” with a lot of hard work put into the recipe…great texturing & creases make it come alive ! The streets of London…Echo with mesh…

I had a little time to wander around SL’s version of my favourite real life shopping haunt…yes, its London. What better way to see the sights…than in a brand-spankin-new dress from [Echo] “Intermezzo”. It’s a lil bit punky…and lot hot…very cool leather look fabric…with slashes of colour…you get five choices of size, and sex er, I mean SIX choices of colours *grins*…

What I sooper love is that you can also snap up some hot-to-trot add ons for it…just to complete the look… a whole range of these accessories that you can mix-n-match and fool around with…huge ring…that despite its size is actually really an intricate design…the co-ordinating necklace (with attachment point options and resizer script in one version) plusssssss a darling mesh clutch purse *swoon*..I grabbed up one in hot pink..but you’ll find a heap of other shades plus some that would pep up any outfit with Hawaii inspired flowers. The clutch has some sweet poses all built-in - nice touch !…they wont set you back oooodles of cash either hoooray! (think around 60L price line for the jewels)

Love in Venice

Ahh..Venice..a place for romance…masked balls…looking effortlessly chic whilst sipping black-as-coal espresso by the canal. Never been there myself..but if I did..Id like to think I could give the locals a run for their money and look stylishly slick. Yes Id slink around wearing something like this from coldLogic..the “vergara” mesh dress..sleek enough for evening wear..but…depending on what you wear it with..day wear also. I have to say, mazza pants apart (blow torched off my legs last week btw) this new line of dresses are simply my favourite..the low dip back really falls beautifully..the wrinkles and crinkles look so real…even the way they kinda “pull” a bit across your tummy, as if you’d scoffed just one too many pastries…Im wearing the linen version, the top part is thick satin..the lower half nubbly linen..a really nice contrast. (Three other colour variations, black & white, marine & strawberry) 350L singles orrrrr 900 for a quantum pack of all four. Incase you’re wondering about the name…”vergara”, I don’t know for sure..but..I think it’s after Sofia Vergara, the actress…looks like something shed adore to wear !

As a Venice afternoon turns to half light…make sure you’re seen leaning against the rails of a picturesque bridge..smouldering and sultry…layer on the lippy..tilt your hat…and vogue bebe..mmhmm..here Iam trying to do just that in one of the other new releases from coldLogic “owens” (pricing the same as the vergara)..this time with a striped effect across the halter top and pinstripe detailing on the body..snazzy! It seems a lot more vampish somehow with the stripes…I chose the earth tone to show you..three other colours also available - summer, lilac & watermelon…these shades will take you from spring to summer easily! Was tempted to add a stole or bolero but..I so wanted you to see how perfectly the halter fits around your neck..thats a hard thing to get right with mesh..also the low back…both working well with a number of pre-made no modify shapes I own…all of the items do come in squooodles of size options and there’s demos for you at the inworld store and the market place..two other new dresses also out..go see ! The scent of Spring is in the air

All around in merry ole England spring flowers are poking their heads up early…such a lovely time of year..and to celebrate the fast arriving season CandyMetal have a fantastic spring gift out for you ! I’m working my way through all the lovely items I’ve found for the blog and checking they’re still available and fortunately most are.  Maai is a new shop to me but as soon as I saw the group gifts I joined.I popped upstairs to the shoe department and there are some lovely shoes up there.  Socks with shoes is very in vogue with this designer and they also have some excellent summer wedges and ….then I dragged myself away muttering “I have enough shoes”.What I don’t have is much MESH and this has a small selection but OH MAI as soon as I saw this drapey number I had to have it.  Not the cheapest at 380lds but so worth it and it comes with a towering pair of heels to match.  Draping down over the boobs wide open expanse of well toned belly and just skimming low enough to make sure your modesty is covered.   Slightly suprised that it doesn’t come with a choice of sizes but in a way the baggyness of the dress makes the slashed waistline look even more dramatic.  Good that there are demos to try and you really really must try Mesh it’s the Bomb
