Keep Calm and Keep Shopping…hmm that sounds like MY kinda event ! The event runs from May 14th until May 28th..All participating stores will have one (or more) brand new, exclusive, never to be sold again item(s) placed in their stores. It’s not a discount event, items will be full price.

 B&T Atelier might be new to some of you…but theyve been creating in SL for agess…and *drum roll* pleeeeease ! They are about to open their brand new mesh studio…break out those pompoms guys & gals..(yes stuff for both genders hoooray!)..you’re gonna love it. I’m showing B&T’s dress for the Keep Calm event…its a sweet little number…silver & greys swirl around in a floral pattern, the texture looks sort of velvety..and of course..its mesh ! Included in the box is also a lacey bra…that you can wear under the dress so it peeks out at the back & cleavage area…nice touch.

Couldnt resist wearing my new mesh SF Design boots with it…this time utilising the HUD to make my own colour for them (15 preset colours , plus tintable) I went with a silvery grey to accentuate the dress…my necklace is from DUH  ”pound of pearls”, which I believe is still a dollarbie ..last but definitely not least..I headed over to Wall Candy and picked up their offering for the event..”keep calm and shop more” wall decal..just 60L…it comes with black type, but is tintable and modify for the size…handy !

Dreaming…of the sun

After a rainy start…we had some sun this afternoon…made me wish SO hard for the summer to hurry along…just right for the warmer days ahead is this new release from Arisaris…the hankerchief dress…batik inspired print…with a really beautiful shape to the hem…its mesh so jump on in and give it a whirl…trust me..you will love ! A real steal for 199L…

I also popped along to the new collection at The Dressing room..and snapped up this hair from one of my fav hair designers Exile..called “Violetta”, comes with four colours all for 60L !

When I tried on this new shirt from Bubblez..it reminded me so much of one I used to have , many many summers ago. A little faded and oh-so-soft…it makes you feel comfy but still feminine…ahhh those were good days when I had that shirt ! This little gem is only 75L…and well worth nabbing..it gently flares out at the hemline, which would suit skirts or pants. I found that the new mesh trousers from SF Designs worked wonderfully with it…especially this adorable salmon shade …(these have been blogged below for a better photo of them)

Sorry about the sunnies..I bought them a week ago at the dressing room..popped over to see if they are for sale in the glow studio store..but they aren’t boooo, cause I love them.

As it’s pouring with rain here, yet again..I decided to get colourful in my Secondlife ! New dress from CandyMetal brightened my day..its called “sport” and has sooo many different colours to choose from..I chose red.I ❤ the sweet patch pockets !..To make it LEAP out even more..slipped a coldLogic ”may” jacket in aquamarine…nice contrast…sunny clothes yay! (The may jacket is actually part of a set, but you have the handydandy option of wearing the tube top or jacket separately, LOVE that) Im also wearing the latest skin from Hush, this ones called “Grace”, the honey tone is my favourite of all the skin shades…info below:

Have waited for ever to try out a mesh corset…and yay! CandyMetal have them in stock and waiting to leap onto your bones right now..stuffed full of funky details…buckles…zips, straps…and only 199L..two versions available…scrummy huh? (demo is there to try) Medium was a great fit for me..but theres plenty of smaller and larger sizes to wriggle into. Cant stop wearing this hair I found at Ronsem..hair base and high topped pony..love it.

I slipped the 2nd style on with some gorjuss new mesh trousers from SF Design…cant believe these are just 130L a pair ! Squillions of colours..the bright red is just edible..as you go into SFD look up up UP..new mesh goodies are there…also showing my dollarbie shooz from choooz…grab a heap from the 1L section at the rear of the store…to be honest…all of the shoes there are extremely affordable…love love LOVE my new bowler hat lights from LISP Bazaar..just 10L for all three colours..steal !

Culture Shock and added freeness

Hola ! The Second annual “Culture Shock” event runs until May 26th ! The chosen charity for this event is Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders) As you arrive at this event you are checked for high scripts…so be sure to remove all unnecessary items (my shoes were the worst!) or you will find a red barrier preventing you from entering. There is soooo much to see…about 180 designers worth of stores to explore, and all for a great cause. [echo] is one of these, and the lovely Echo Requiem send me a box of her items to show you ! Above I’m wearing the plaid Interval mesh jacket…traditional design with extra flair…sits beautifully over one of the ligature leather mesh skirts …totally adore this style of skirt..the brilliant leather look, coupled with a jaunty flared hem…perfect…(check out the red, super classy tone)..I’m also wearing this months gift skin from Filthy “Jasmine” in beach tan, you get a boatload of skins in various shades…join fee applies, and with a skin like this as a gift…just DO it !

Had to keep that leather skirt on, this time worn with the latest group gift from Schwarz, a teeny top that leaves your torso mostly bare..yumm…thanks Gelsi <3 There is  a small group join fee, but totally worth it for the  offers & gifties ! My jewelry is from the fantastique sale at Dark Mouse..10L for single packs, 25L for fat packs *faints*…I took Zan over and she went CRAZY ! Its such awesome quality you just cant stop buying..go to the rear of the store, and enter the red tent…these items will not be available after this sale..so grab em while you can (SIX luckyboards in the store to stalk also !)

I have some new mesh slacks & thee cutest little soft mesh sweater for you from [Echo] today. The pants come in this comfy casual style, with a one button fly…add in one of the gentle strokable sweater tops and you’re good to go hang with a coffee !

Spotted this mesh hoodie on the market place and just knew you’d love it ! It’s by [Vega*Inc.] and is currently out as a gift in their store and on the MP..good selection of sizes so you should be able to find one to suit…Im wearing it with my mazza pants by coldLogic, but it would look equally as good with jeans or shorts…snugggly! Looking ahead…

Looking ahead to those warmer days…Ever an Angel has some new releases for you to snaffle up..I really liked this mesh top “whisper” and found them a great match for the new roll cuff shorts in sand…the top would also look great with a skirt for a dressier occasion. My hair is the latest group gift from Truth, called “bunny”, all group members received a stonking big fat pack of all shades yay! Ohhh, more about this later- but if you’re liking my newww skin…its from Hush..part of their new releases, this ones called “Fay” , I’m wearing the honey tone and glimmer makeup…I simply adore these skins, and for once..I’m wearing it instead of my usual curio *gasp*…such lovely features…and fantastic body contours & shading…dont forget to collect the new April group gift while you’re there…gorjuss eyelashes !

Next release from Ever an Angel is the mesh “lotus garden sandals” and the “lotus garden” mesh top in passion fruit, plusss the skinny trousers in a yummy papaya shade. For those of you who prefer non mesh..the pants are really nice…the sandals have a fairly simple to use HUD…even I managed to get my skin tone matched hurrah!

Last up from me for today (but there is heaps more newness out in the store) is this straight-into-summer ensemble…by the sea tide pool sandals,skirt bracelet & cami top. Suchhhh a lush colour, reminds me of blue skys…nice to see a couple of sizes for the skirt yay! Im wearing the curvy option which fitted beautifully…head over and take a peek…its a huge store with plenty to see…thanks Ever an Angel !

Mesh releases coming thick & fast ! This set from Bubblez is deeeelicious…mesh jeans (which I have only one pair so far, so I’m chuffed milo made some ) and a pretty strapless mesh tube top…I was able to get a great fit on the jeans – used a smaller size which is just purrrfect. The top I was a medium sized in..(they are sized by numbers, the bigger the number- the bigger the item-simple!) Jeans are a boot-cut style which sit nicely over shoes … its called “Love” and is on sale now in the main store ! Thanks Milo xx

I was so so happy to get a mesh dress from Bubblez..and it didn’t disappoint.its called “Olivia”and the mix of dots & plaid is just gorgeous…simple tube dress but “simple” with a lot of hard work put into the recipe…great texturing & creases make it come alive ! Not often when I get a “jaw drop” moment, but I certainly did when I tried on this new release from Armony. Gollygosh…its stunning..a great combo of mesh and prim work…

The belt is resizable…the flared & buckled flexi parts add some drama to the sheath of silver that just winds itself around you. The top half is kinda sequinned…a nod to the 70′s disco era…but its pure glamour all the way…fantastic..thanks Ariadna <3 My necklace is from Addiction jewelry (thanks Atiya xx) and is called Precious pearl cross…at the moment you can pick up the whole set for just 149L at the last ever Fashionably Late event…over 60 designers participating for this wind up…go see !
