Mesh Around Hunt

I love “meshing” around..so this hunt seems to be right up my alley…Ive already found a couple of items to show you ! I was very lucky that Babylee & Tommi at B&T sent me their hunt prize - they obviously know how truly rubbish I am at hunting ! It’s this glam partial mesh dress…the skirt is meshy..the top isnt..I think the two ways of creating work so well together no? My hair is from a new-to-me designer called “[[Loovus Dzevavor]]”, called  Jadore..wow girls head over and take a look…its hair art ! Some really unique styles…

Now I did actually slap my hunting goggles on and searched out this fab gifty from Cleo Design, it’s a complete kitchen ! The fridge opens, as does the little freezer box inside…theres poses for washing the dishes..and the stool is crammed full of animations ! Adore the big wood table..its a scene stealer for sure…as usual Cleom is totally too generous and I can’t fit all the gifts into this photo..so go grab your own..and take a look…

I’m sooo loving this new craze with romper suits…sooper cute…and verrrry of the moment..DeColores has a few of these out at the moment, in various patterns & colours..I plumped for this muted purpley and blue combo…nicely made and the tiny bow for the front is a lovely touch…popped over to the store and noticed a couple of group gifts on the counter..group is free join yay! After a rainy start…we had some sun this afternoon…made me wish SO hard for the summer to hurry along…just right for the warmer days ahead is this new release from Arisaris…the hankerchief dress…batik inspired print…with a really beautiful shape to the hem…its mesh so jump on in and give it a whirl…trust me..you will love ! A real steal for 199L…

I also popped along to the new collection at The Dressing room..and snapped up this hair from one of my fav hair designers Exile..called “Violetta”, comes with four colours all for 60L !

Have waited for ever to try out a mesh corset…and yay! CandyMetal have them in stock and waiting to leap onto your bones right now..stuffed full of funky details…buckles…zips, straps…and only 199L..two versions available…scrummy huh? (demo is there to try) Medium was a great fit for me..but theres plenty of smaller and larger sizes to wriggle into. Cant stop wearing this hair I found at Ronsem..hair base and high topped pony..love it.

I slipped the 2nd style on with some gorjuss new mesh trousers from SF Design…cant believe these are just 130L a pair ! Squillions of colours..the bright red is just edible..as you go into SFD look up up UP..new mesh goodies are there…also showing my dollarbie shooz from choooz…grab a heap from the 1L section at the rear of the store…to be honest…all of the shoes there are extremely affordable…love love LOVE my new bowler hat lights from LISP Bazaar..just 10L for all three colours..steal !

The Men’s Dept.

Thanks to the magic of subscribo news, I managed to find out about The Men’s Dept, a sensational new monthly sales event, chock full of great designers and a range of gear for us guys. Almost everything you see me in above, I picked up while I was mooching about there: hair, shirt, facial hair and skin, all bought from the Men’s Dept. and I didn’t pay over L$150 for any one item!

The hair is from one of my all time favourite hair stores: [Shag] and is aptly named ‘This Charming Man’ as you will definitely look charming in this short, neatly styled ‘do. You get three different colour tones with this hair and three matching hairbases to wear with them.

The shirt is from [Sleepy Eddy] and is gorgeous. I love my striped shirts lately and this one fits the bill oh-so well. There are a total of four different colours you can choose to buy for this fantastic shirt, I was so tempted to get more than one but settled for the coral in the end. It comes on multiple layers and includes the sculpted body part of the shirt as well as white sculpted collar and cuffs that both look brilliant and fit really well.

Last but not least is the skin and facial hair which both come from Fruk, a store that’s new to me but one I’m going to have investigate more closely if this is the kind of stuff they have lying around. For a crazy-good price (everything at the Men’s Dept. is sold at crazy-good prices) you can pick up this Knox skin. This has an amazing-looking face, youthful and handsome and I like the skin tone it comes in as well and the body looks just as good, not overblown with muscles but still nicely defined and a manly bit of chest/body hair thrown in for good measure.  I couldn’t buy this skin and not pick up the Stinger beard Fruk was offering right there, it’s such a good add on to this skin (or any other really) and comes in two tones: black or brown.

So you guys definitely need to head down to the Men’s Dept. and check it out. You will be well pleased with the gear on offer, I think there’s a little bit of everything just about. Go take a look while you can.

Vixen mini’s go lala

Oh its been agesss since I had something to show you from Poised…worth the wait though…cause Ive got the “Vixen” mini skirt..comes in a bunch of patterns…and at 100L a pop, a real gem for your wardrobe ! I just got grabby hands over the grey plaid..sooper easy to wear , with a resizer script for that purrfect fit. Teamed mine up with this months free gift from SF Designs.”key to my heart” a natty pair of black ankle boots, with some charming details..option for resize or not…couldnt resist shimmying into a cold logic mesh sweater…”breeze” comes in various shades..you can wear the arms, or leave them out…lovely chunky bubbly knit, scrummmy..ohhhh I also scooted over to [elikatira] and checked out the new mesh hair-do’s…surprisarama I bought one ! (thank you Talena xx) This ones called “over” casual style, floppy loose plait…just adorbs. My pritty lights, came from Lisp 10L bazaar…however they were only 5L each yay!

Happy Sunday folks, I have a quick little bit of awesomeness from [Shag] to share with you guys.

Jack is Depraved

It seems that every time I head down to Shiki, not only do I find some great gear, but I also find out about new hunts happening around the grid. Today was no different as I discovered the Jack or Jill Hunt. Brought to you by Depraved Nation, Jack or Jill is a ‘split path’ hunt with 50 stores for women as well as 50 stores for men and it’s looking very, very good indeed.

The outfit I’m wearing above is Shiki’s entry into Jack or Jill and is called the Nakano Style outfit which features the sweater and pants that you can see above. The sweater comes in a great pink colour and the texture is awesome, thick and warm looking. The cuffs, neck and sweater bottom attachments that come along with it all fit really easily, as do the cuffs for the pants.

After scooping up the Shiki gift, I checked out who else was in the hunt and once I saw MADesigns was in it, I rushed over there to find their gift which is the hair I’m wearing in the above pictures. ‘Jesse’ is a super-funky spiky ‘do that must be a pretty recent release as I hadn’t come across it before. It looks brilliant in the light brown colour and you also get the light brown hairbase to wear with it along with a pair of ‘The Happening’ eyes in moss.

So there you have it, a couple of great gifts from what looks to be a super hunt that will be going on all this month. Plenty of stuff for both guys and girls and well worth checking out. Oh yummmi collabor88 has a new collection out…my head was spinning about there was just SO much goodness ! I was really taken with some of the mesh furniture…might go back for some ! In the crowds I spotted the ever lovely Callie Cline and noticed she had items out yay! Couldnt resist her happy little tanks, I chose “peace doll”, mostly cause its kinda PINK …also snapped up the jeans in dark wash. Very classic stylin on these, comes with a natty little prim button and soopercute flowers splashed about yay!

To be honest, I don’t generally buy hair from stores I don’t know (yes I’m boring that way) but I branched out and got this from vive nine, it’s called ”tall tales”, pack of four tones of one colour (additional 4 with roots included) Hmm I’m not sure about it really…it has a resizer script..which in hair I just loathe..I prefer to hand edit so I can get it just right around the ears and such..which this really needed ~le sigh~, it’s not bad, but for 188L…I think I would have been happier paying a fraction more and getting something from one of my fav places. Live & learn ! Notice my funky necklace & earings? They are a gifty that came out today from miel ! Stunning and chunky with colour options for the beads & string…

Depraved Nerd

I was wandering around tonight and came across Nerd Project, a store  I hadn’t visited for a while and I found a new release: this awesome ‘Big Turtleneck Sweater’. I love these big, chunky sweaters, the texture on this is fantastic and so warm-looking I’d be waiting a fair few months to wear this if it were in real life. The sculpted attachments for the sleeves, collar and bottom of the sweater are really cool and fit pretty well and there’s also a female version of the hem so it’s unisex as well. It comes in four super colours and is a bargain for only L$135. There are a lot of cool clothes and a few gacha machines down there, well worth a look.

The hair I’m wearing in this picture is MADesign’s A Depraved and Desolate Winter hunt gift and is called Logan and as you can see it is pretty funky. I like it a lot, it’s something different to my usual hairstyles and the black and brown colour is brilliant. Angel’s wings and puppy dog tails…

I have newness and a sneaky peeek for you…CandyMetal have some fantabulousss tshirts out in an array of scrummy wintery shades called “Angela”…in each colour pack you get  two styles, long or short sleeves…and a natty little set of wings printed on the back (dainty not HUGE !) I just adore this golden syrupy yellow tone..made me feel all cozy-bargain price of just 99L …. Slipped it on over some Jane fuzzy piggies tights in cream and added my bargain 20L skirt from Tres Beau- voila! Ohmai…how did it get past my radar that [e] has a sale on ! Youd better rush because its over on 30th October ! Elikatira is turning 1 year old and to celebrate there is a MASSIVE 70% off everything *faints*…this is one of my all time fav places for hair..so I dashed over and snapped up heaps !! There are also shoooz and bootz ! I nabbed the shoes above called “move” they come in a veritable rainbow of colours..these ones are “nude”..and set me back just 55L…the hair is called “Looking” and in the sale it cost me only 66L , I know I know! 66L for a pack of five tones! Our intrepid friend Zan has been out and about again and found some more pretties for you ladies. I’ll step out of the way now and let her tell you all about them.

Banilacoco was a new place to me. In fact I was in the shop next door but I panned and scanned and found a yummy bank of Lucky Boards. If you can’t be bothered to wait there is a couple of group gifts that you can score. You do have to join the group for the LBs, but it’s free so then you can click away.  I managed to grab three skins in the space of minutes. Well impressed with them all. Love this one for the touch of lip gloss that make the lips all pouty and shiny. Nice touch that one eye shadow is purple and the other green but the make up is still understated and pretty.

The hair is a freebie from Tram ! A mix of a few pieces of furniture, accessories, clothes and hair etc. I know I’ve made it sound so uninteresting however, once you see it, the quality shines through. If it wasn’t for the fact that I only had enough Lindens left to buy the cutest short hairdo I have ever seen I would have snapped up some of those outfits straight away. Might just treat myself to some at the end of the month. But happily they also have some group gifts out.  At the entrance is some bags of poses and a pair of sweetie heeled flatties in black and pink and upstairs are two free hairdos.  The hair has a resizer script in it so just click on the hair and select this prim or all prims and increase till the fit is good.  Takes seconds and works a treat.

Last but not least are the shoes! I love N-Core shoes.  Since they opened they have consistently provided good-fitting, sexy heeled shoes and I have never been disappointed with shoes bought from there so to come across a pair for L$50 made my SL day.  What has made it even better is that although the basic purple  colour cannot be changed you can wear the HUD and turn on or off the sheen, invisi-prim and sound.  A keeper for me.  This is a small underground bunker with some lovely bargains from other well-known designers.

Happy Friday everyone! I’ve still been ‘On the Hunt’ and managed to find a couple more items from it that I thought you ought to see.

The hair you can see me wearing above is from the good folk at MADesigns and is called ‘Sam’ in dark blonde. I usually leave the blondeness to Faith but who can pass up a hunt gift from MADesigns no matter the colour. It’s a great, stylish ‘do and I like it a lot. They have also included one of their new female couture hairs in the gift called Selita so you ladies have something to find too.

The black outfit is from [TK] Designs, another cool new store for me. You get the black satin shirt and leather pants in this gift and both look super. The satin shirt comes with an easy to wear collar and the leather pants have wickedly realistic creases in them.

So there you are, another couple of tremendous hunt gifts for your Friday that you should definitely track down. You’re looking for a magnifying glass for ‘On the Hunt’ and neither store should cause you too much stress in finding them.

o.O the new Collabor88 collection is out yay! I HAD to dash over and snap up the hair from [e] called fight, its adorbs, and casual and sooo moi, just 88L per pack of 5 tones…also this time around there is a hunt..mmhmm..you all know how utterly poo I am at hunts..this time was no differnt..gawd wheres Stevie when I need him ! So out of  12 gifts I found uhm…lemme see 4..which has gotta be my all time lowest score..but hey ..I found the culottes in this gorg Autumny russetty orange..and the zipped bustier in rosey (above..)

Its real busy there at the mo, so I might go back in a few days, see if I can rustle up a few more tones in the rather fabbo culottes.
