I’m not an addict I’m not an addict I’m NOT an addict! Oh Wait then why did I grab sooo many free skins from the Skin Showcase? simple really because what amazing quality!  It’s hard to find good free skins in SL, and don’t get me started on shapes, but not only are they good but outstanding in fact they’re shop quality.  However to get all the freeness you need to join the Skin Addiction Group and then wander around the sims and loads of bags and boxes set out for you to click on.  Many however are demos but nice to be able to check out and see whats new.

One small thing check your Scripts at the door.  Not sure if you will be ejected if your script count is over 10, don’t worry they give you plenty of warning to script down first.  I have a handy freaky trick which is a pure black skin and with that skin on I can ditch not only hair but my clothes and walk around butt naked and you can’t tell, sneaky or what?

OK lets move onto this skin, it was the first I unpacked so it’s the one I will tell you about.  Called  *L*Sapphire from Leafy Skins and Shapes and how nice that it comes not only with a choice of brows but two clevage layers.  The one shown is busty and the other more natural.  Great details on the more intimate bits, belly button, collar bone etc all those areas which show the difference between a rotten skin and a great skin but what got me the most was the great make up, metal blue, a dot of a beauty spit and lips which are so Posh Spice.  Have to confess I don’t think my picture really does this skin justice so you’d better pop over, grab your invite, group boards there, and go find out for yourself.

Zan has introduced me to some fahhhbulous cosmetics from MOCK…Im just posting the info for her..over to the lady herself.

I simply do not know where to start because there is  so much.  GRAB all of the demo lippies and they’re free of any demo labels so basically FREE.  Then you can slap the subscription board but I would seriously reccomend joining the Group.  It costs a really fair 250lds and trust me as soon as you open the previous 14 notices, they only keep upto 14 days, and find its PACKED with free make ups, add ons, advice and even her  wifes Phoenix settings so I guess we can all share her “bounce”.

The makes ups go from subtle and innocent to in your face outlandish.  Lovely lipsticks, bright eyeshadows and if you want the full make up which is eyes and lips.  Blushers and eyelashes and you can even change with the fixed skin burner your all over body colour.  What I have also found is that no matter which skin colour I have on the make up simply suits it down to the ground.  So the same shades my pale and gothic skin or my sunkissed skin look equally as good.

Seraphim spoils us again

Seraphim are totally spoiling us again with a new round of designer gifts! Join the group and collect what you fancy. One of my favs was the set of three sweaters from Sakide, black,pink & red. So well made, great fit and sooooper cute! I also snapped up yet another pair of the yoga pants from Somnia, and I hadn’t won this colour from the Love gatcha event, result!

Sweet Antidote are offering you this pinky tone pair of boots…they fit me right-outta-the box…v.nice..a keeper.

L’aize Dayz have set out this gorjuss bench seat..just soooo pretty…and also only 7 prims !

More furniture comes from Cheeky Pea & Allure. CP are giving away this beautiful rocking chair, I have *a thing* about rocking chairs..cant pass by them without sitting ! The shabby chair & pouffe from allure is a real winner…touch the blanket on the arm and you have an array of colours for the chair to choose from..nice poses also…

 

And finally..cause I really need some toast & tea…is this outfit from ChiChi’s Pocket…skirt,sweater,socks & shoes..it caught my eye…sooper fresh colours..the shoes are just adorbs ! I had a preview of some new gear from ArisAris…you know, there’s pretty much nothing that this store releases that I don’t just love? Well made clothes, stylish…easy to wear..hits all the buttons for moi…the latest release is no different “Lara” looks sort of ethnic…or hmm Mexican? Its got a chilli flavour going on..I was hard pressed to choose between the dark red or this Olive green above …the green won out !

The whole outfit has a wealth of details…woolen pompoms dangle from the corners..the great BIG belt that pinches in your waist…fahhhbulous flared w-i-d-e sleeves…and of the course the fantastic shawl collar…toh-tah-lee loving it ! Various colours available…just 250L. Oh ! also the store is brand spankin new..very chic..loads of group gifts (free join yay!) at the back of the ground floor…dont forget to check them out while you’re there..

Fallen into Winter

 

The new releases are coming thick & fast this week…I dont know how the designers do it and prepare for Christmas, but I’m glad they do! Poised has this chic little outfit for you…a few colour choices to make, or treat yourself to a whopping fat pack. I just fell in lurve with the Bridget ensemble..fawn coloured pants with some great flared cuffs…a teal shade of sweater…fantastic arm details to get a really chunky appeal going on..cowl neck and a toning belt…easy to wear, looks so elegant..just my cup-o-splosh..

My second fav shade is the set named *Sookie*, I wonderrrr why I liked this one..cause its almost a reverse of the Bridget set I guess !..slightly darker tone of blue for the pants…and a gorjusss biscuity beige sweater…love it !  Single colours are so inexpensive at just 200L  orrrr that fat pack of five is only 800L- so basically you’re getting a set freeee!  Dont forget to check the heaps of luckyboards dotted around and join the group so you can snaffle up the group gifts while you’re there…Thanks Poise xx

This barrow with collection of barrels is unbeeelievably only 3 prims…*faints*…its chockablock with great animations too ! This is from Michigans shack , absolootly love it..its won a place on my home patch for sure…

Last up for today is this from Fuzzy Bee…a ginormous dining set…you get everything I’ve shown in the photo…all together I think its approx 66 prims…which is pretty good for a set of this size with SO much detail..but I did also notice if you wanna break it up and use bits & pieces…a lot of the components are pretty low prim…especially loved the flower shaped candle sticks with flames..only 2 prims each!

Sassy gets huntin!

I was yapping to Steve on skype when I tried this dress on…Ive never heard him “gasp” about a dress before ! He did though…and quite rightly so I think…the cosmopolitian dress is just glorious…so feminine with its ruched band belt and thick rose applique,even a little net edge to the skirt…I fell in love and havent changed clothes yet..best thing is…you too can make this your own by finding it in the American Bazaar Birthday Hunt — Sep 1 thru Sep 30 hooooray!

Another hunt prize is this triffic Meow dress…bright pink leopard print skirt with a netted edge and plain black vest top…this is the gift in the Just for Fun Hunt — Sep 1 thru Sep 30 ! Yes yes yes I’m in one of the most fashionable countries in the universe (of course I happen to think London is the fashion capital of the worrrrld,but I’m totally biased) Before I slink off to shop and drink coffee, I thought Id show you the new release from Arisaris, it’s called ”my moon” and is terribly pretty. I Got Lucky

Faith was talking about us stalking the lucky boards at =Zenith= last night and, as you know, her letter didn’t come up – poor Faith! Mine did, however, and I scored this gorgeous ‘ZF Shirt’ from it.

Beautiful grey, black and white colours, this polo shirt looks fabulous. The texture on it is brilliant. It comes on multiple layers so you can wear it tucked or untucked and you also get the sculpted cuffs and collar which are easily fitted by using the script.

I couldn’t resist joining the group while I was waiting for the letters to change and picking up some of the group gifts like the one you can see above. The checker shirt comes in two sweet colours: the red one as well as a blue. I love the pattern on the sweater, very preppy. You also get cuffs and a collar for the black undershirt that you can wear with or without the cool flexi tie. A truly super group gift.

The Beauty of Booties

After I finished taking pictures of Zan, I rushhhed myself off to Gabriel because they have two new group gifts available to scoop up and scoop I surely did!

The gifts are the Leather Booties in brown and black. Gorgeously made, manly workboot-looking shoes with tremendous details on them. I’m loving the way some of the laces wrap around the entire back of the boot, the tongue of the shoe slightly loose. The leather texture is fantastic to look at, nice and shiny and the brown is two-toned as well. These booties feature that brilliant alpha layer as well as additional invisible prims you can wear if you choose. The booties are also resizeable via script but they fit me just right straight out of the box.

Gizza Geezer

A while ago, Faeth blogged a store called GizzA Creations and mentioned that there were some group gifts for men and it went right over my head! I didn’t remember until someone mentioned them to me the other night so I went over and checked them out.

One word: brilliant! There is an absolute load of gifts to grab once you’ve joined the group and they are sweet indeed. I picked up a couple to show you all. The suit above is a Valentines gift and as you can see, it’s a gorgeous black suit. Classic black and white, it really looks wonderful. The cuffs and collar are resizeable via  a script and the white business shirt can be worn on its own and trust me, it looks just as awesome.

The second I picked up is their May gift which consists of a shirt and shorts in fantastic colours, lots of purple-y shades – I love purple! The texture on the shirt is rough and warm looking and is just so well done. This outfit comes with prim legs  for the shorts as well as a collar, cuffs and bottom part for the shirt and they are all able to be resized by a script too and give this outfit a great look once it’s all put together.

I went over to AlterEgo yesterday to help move a MM board along (I’m nice that way) and I noticed a whole heap of goodies on the desk Id never seen before! Ever the intrepid gift hunter I grabbed them up and shuffled off back to the studio..above Im showing the aptly called “almost nakkie” set..lovely cowl necked shirt and teeny weeny skirt

I thought the box marked “dale” might be a guys gifty but it wasnt hooray! It’s this lully black dress with various coloured shirt inserts..

Absolutely adored this ladies group gift..short short short dress, comes with boots also ! racey fishnets add an edgier appeal to this rather saucy little outfit..
